They called me and wife just because we had our credit pulled somewhere else and the person who called was rude, sacastic, and would not stop so we can hang up on them.

We worked with Mark Bonenfant once again to obtain a mortgage for our recent home purchase in Palm Springs. We have known Mark for twenty years and he has handled three mortgages for us over that time. Mark’s professionalism and ethics are exceptional, and he has always made a somewhat trying process simple and stress-free. He consistently managed the details of the process and always disclosed and explained everything along the way. His experience and knowledge always allowed us to feel comfortable and protected and he provides the extra effort to avoid the complications that can sometimes arise during the mortgage process. We will definitely use his services again and we highly and unconditionally recommend him to everyone we know.

I'm a listing agent who accepted an approval from Brad Ticehurst, on the days leading up to the closing day he badmouthed his client and said amongst other things that she was not cooperating. I asked him for an update via email on many occasions and always said it was coming and never did. Be careful who you work with, these people will not do what they say and are just waiting your time. I don't understand how they are getting such recent high reviews but I'll tell you that I AM a real person (Agent) and can verify everything I am posting in this review. Look for another mortgage company !

I'm very disappointed in my home buying experience with United American Mortgage. Ted Learakos certainly helped us feel good in the moment, but when all was said and done, we ended up with a rate higher than what we could have had because of poor communication. There were many times that we had to pry information out of them. From the lenders to the mortgage brokers to the escrow agents, since 2006 I've known the home buying process to be a complete debacle, and Ted/UAM did nothing to make me think otherwise. This is a greedy industry that does very little to justify their pay.

This place is a waste of time. The president himself took my call, stated the many possibilities of refinancing, then never called back. I called the next day and he asked "who is this?", promised to call back in two hours and never called. I went to my bank and was pre approved in 20 minutes.

Ashley Cornes has to be the most rude, inconsiderate person I’ve ever worked with.
