If I can give this place a zero I would. These people are straight rude unprofessional. I’ve been paying off my phone for the last three years. I just so happened to be 25 days late. And they talk to you with this respect. Acting like I just defaulted on my loan and that’s not the case. I decided to refinance my car and take my loan somewhere else. CIG financial is a joke when it comes to customer service. Get your loan from somewhere else. Where your treated with respect.

I am not a customer of CIG Financial but have been receiving menacing calls daily. This morning before filing this complaint a gentleman called me asking for someone named X. I had no idea what he was talking about. I told him not to call me anymore. He menacingly told me "I have your address, that's fine." But again, I am not X, don't know who that is, I do not have any business with CIG Financial. It should be illegal to call people and threaten period. And to call someone who has nothing to do with what you're calling about is even worse.

awful experience with this company. their system is awful is barely works 90% of the time and their customer service is even worse. its impossible to reach a person who works with this company. My account number doesn't even work with my account meaning I cant make payments until i get ahold of someone. I've only ever reached 1 person and they were awful at their job and almost knew nothing about their job.

In 2018 I was financed through this company. I paid for GAP Insurance as well through CIG Financial during that time. In 3 years I never missed a payment and was never late on a payment. My vehicle was involved in an accident in August 2021 and was totaled out through the Insurance process. During that time I remained in constant contact with CIG Financial and was assured it would not go against my credit on multiple occasions through multiple supervisors. As of Thursday December 2, 2021 I spoke with a supervisor and explained to him that my insurance paid the majority of the vehicle off but that the GAP Insurance purchased through his company CIG Financial refused to pay off the remaining $724 and some change. In order to move forward to close the account I was done arguing with CIG Financial and decided to pay off the remaining balance. I was told I would only be late one payment but I had to pay the remaing balance before the 10th. I set up a payment for Monday the 6th. Friday morning my credit dropped 100+ points across the board. I checked it and CIG Financial reported that I was late 2 months on payments yet they had recieved thousands of dollars from my insurance, scammed me out of my GAP Insurance and had taken $724 from me that should have been covered by the GAP Insurance provided by their company. They are scam artists. I now have bad credit due to their lying and scheming and can't get approved for another vehicle.

So I'm in very impressed there are so many things that I can compliment them on. For starters you don't wait forever for someone to answer the phone, which is very impressive. They are very understanding, and will try to help you anyway possible. Let me explain my situation and how much they have been willing to help. I traded my car in on April 6th with ABC Auto in Tampa, Florida. Today is May 14th. ABC Auto trader has told me many times that they have sent the payment for the payoff. But CIG financial has not received payment. They have been very patient and understanding with me and when I asked today if they could please contact ABC Auto trader they were willing to do so that way they will have the documentation as well if I have to go to court later. No I don't know about all of you but for me that's pretty impressive I don't think I could ever get Capital One auto or any other auto finance company to take their time out of their busy schedule to contact another entity in order to find out what's going on to help me.

I have a problem with companies that choose not to speak with their customers. This company doesnt make it easy to reach a human being. You call in and reach an automated system with generic questions and generic responses. I have been making payments for about 7 mos to our vehicle loan. Since we started making payment every month I've overpaid so I could pay off vehicle sooner. I just found out I have to call after every overpayment made online and make every effort to get someone live. Then ask the live person if they would apply additional money to principal. Otherwise the money I've overpaid only applies to next payment. Just feel its another way companies take advantage of comsumers. Hard working people over paying loan payments instead of getting ahead they have no benefit. CIG sits with our money on hand probably giving them higher interest payouts. Its that an honorable business you should and want to continue doing business with....🤔🤔🤔🤔Ahhh....NO!

Was financed by CIG, never have had a problem. Customer service is not bad at all. When I got into a car crash last year, they were on top of it and made me trust them with the process. They made sure I was satisfied with the outcome of my car body work. Overall, CIG is not bad at all.

I had been with CIG Financial for 3 years always paid my note and paid the car note off just paying on the Financial. I moved to another State during the pandemic we faced so they have repo to come get my car on just 1 note behind and they where talking to me like I was nothing and didn't care about anything I was going through as a single mom. So to get my car back they want me to pay the full remainder of the money balance on the car . I have contacted Better Business Burial hope they can get through these types of business and people that need to be fired

Most unprofessional group of people I've ever encountered. Bullies, condescending, rude an extremely aggressive and pushy. I filed a chapter 7 the judge discharged the case and did not order me to return the car, he discharged everything. Per my credit reports , CIG zeroed out my balance, closed the account, charged it off, and in the comments section. CIG states " included in Chapter 7 bankruptcy." Based on all of that I was told by an attorney that the car is legally mine and I need them to send me the pink slip. They are absolutely refused and insisted they were still in possession of the car and that I was still responsible for the the balance. At the end of the day I was forced to go buy another car is the one CID is involved in needs over $7,000 in repairs in his barely drivable . Whoever is training the staff it's clearly old school. There were two occasions where I did return their phone calls, go figure the messages were from women! When someone is behind on a payment to bully them, belittle them, send text messages that you need to return the car, is not the way to go! I spent years as a corporate sales trainer. I tried to reach them and spoke to one of there higher up in financial dept and he gave me a # to call back in an hour and it was a text now # that belong to some random person who had no idea what I was talking about. Then I email and call them repeatedly and they don't answer after I enter my info.

When they call you for a supposed bounced check saying you didn't have any money in your account. Crystal was very rude and disrespectful. Telling me I need to take it up with the bank. After giving me a confirmation number so how didn't I have money? I asked to speak to someone else and she wanted to refer me to someone to reposses my car. This is the worst experience I've ever had with a company. I hope Crystal (i don't have to give you my last name) gets fired if CIG knows what's good for them! This company needs to find better people.

Dealership leaving a review here. Takes weeks to get your money after being funded. Dealers beware before signing up in hopes to get your deals funded quickly. At day 10 now on a deal being booked and no funds received yet. If someone reads this at CIG please read your comments in dealertrack and please give us dealers a logical explanation on why we should continue doing business with someone who doesn't hold up there part of the deal.

I’m not sure if certain CIG employees service specific areas or what but I’m so confused on Al of the negative reviews. Since I have had my loan with them I haven’t had any problems! They will work with over and over as long as you communicate. There has maybe been one person who has had a bit of an attitude but after requesting a new agent everything went smooth. I will definitely continue to use them in the future as well as refer family and friends to use them.

They did work with me when I couldn’t pay right away but, they have a total of 5 employees so if you call, you’re put on hold for a minute then sent to someone’s voicemail. If you try to leave a voicemail, it will hang up on you 3 words in. Impossible to get ahold of anyone

This is the worst company ever they are so rude and just sounds like they are miserable with their jobs I kind of feel bad. Whenever I tried to get a hold of them they would hang up or not pick up at all and if I was able to get a hold of someone they just did not care what I had to say and they made it clear that whatever question I had was not their problem and I had to figure it out myself. I just called and received an awful customer service representative. It was hard to hear and understand her, so I asked if she would repeat. Nothing changed. I ended up deciphering what she said, and before I could say thank you, she hung up.

Only been with this company for 2 months. So far the customer service is Horrible. They told me the wrong info about making partial payments. So far I do not like this company.

Terrible horrible bank. Does not care even the slightest. Our rep Julia in miami never answers our texts or calls, when she does she is rude and dismissive, makes it sound like we are a bother to her. Her boss Tracy, is no better, when you escalate anything to her nothing changes. They won't survive for long. The good reps never stay for very long unfortunately. Working a deal with them is a nightmare , no support in place, horrible terrible management , inexisting customer service, long delays to get the simplest thing done .. im deactivating their account today . SCC, and West Lake are a breeze to deal with compared to this!!!

EXCELLENT SERVICE FINANCED MY CAR WITH THEM A FEW YEARS BACK.I paid them as agreed never any issues with them. Reading the reviews made me just think maybe if you just paid them on time they wouldn't give you such a hard time. We all have our situations, We all tend to forget we put ourselves in position to have to deal with a secondary lending institution. People need to own up and say i will never put myself in situations like this. Just don't burn the so called Good Lenders etc... then you don't have to worry about dealing with them.. Good Luck

Do not work with this company The worst on contact they unprofessional and they will miss leas you I payed of my car and I was paying more then they close it as close not payed of my credit went down 40 points and they asked me to dispute it and every time I do that it drops 12 points my credit score now my credit is low coz I got loan with them

I dont like the fact that i get charged extra no matter how i make a payment. As it is they r making their money. Also i recently changed my due date to every 10th & i still get notifications about my payment being due on the 30th

I am not understanding this company. They call non stop and then when you do return their call, they are extremely rude. When i did my call with the institution before my loan was complete, they gave me my due date. However, i never received my account number or the payment mailing address. When i would call i would get the agents voicemail, since i would have to call in the evening. Again the one time i did get in contact with someone, he was rude and obnoxious. They wanted to charge $17.00 to make the payment over the phone, which is a ridiculous amount. So i mailed in our first payment on May 7, which was actually due on 4/23/19. I proceeded to go out of the country on May 10 and didn't come back until 5/26/19. They are closed on the weekends as well as memorial day. (I should have made the payment before i left for both months, but didn't even think about that, and wasn't able to contact them while out of the country). May's payment was going to be done before the end of the week. (So hypothetically, if they didn't receive April's payment, May's payment has a grace period, my loan isn't even 45 days late.) Tell me why they came and took my car this morning. This is ridiculous. Their payment system over the phone or online is ridiculous and not easy to utilize. Very frustrating. I am just hoping now i will be able to call them pay May's payment and get my car back. If you are able to avoid using this bank, i would at all costs. **UPDATE** come to find out they never received my payment (first payment on loan due 4/23/19) and by 5/14/19 had demanded the dealership to buy it back! Like WTF!

This is by far the worst Finance company I have ever worked with. I am a dealer and they purchased a loan from me. I have a customer that has been driving in one of our cars for 2 weeks and they just told me that they don't have the funds to buy the loan from us for 2 1/2 weeks. What kind of shady finance company buys a loan from a dealer and doesn't have the money to back it up? Stay away from this lender, they are incredibly unreliable.

Update!!! I had NO issues with this company. I'm paid off and within 30 days of paying it off they already sent nessesary information to the DMV and reported it to the credit bureau. So my points went up🤗 You just use your online banking to pay this bill it works great! Just send payments a week to a week 1/2 in advance before the due date and you will be fine. ( Bank takes about 3-4days to send) Worked for me. Just get your account number from whatever bill you would like to pay online and add it to your bill pay through your bank and name it whatever you want. Send and your done🤗
