I have nothing but good things to say about Dan Crego and his staff. I own a business and there was tons of paperwork to go through when owning a business to get any type of refinance. Mark recently helped me refinance my mortgage from 30 years at 5% to 2.75% on a 15 year loan. He not only saved me 11 years of of payments. But he also timed it to where I got to skip 2 payments! I have already recommended Mark to anyone that I know that has a mortgage!

Terrible communication skills and underwriting takes nearly forever. They told me 30-45 days initially and we're looking at 90 days now and still not closed. Whenever I check in asking where we stand with closing, they always come back with more info they need but forget to proactively ask for. If it wasn't for their low fees, these guys wouldn't stay in business. Guess the other side of that same thought is that I'm getting what (little) I'm paying for. Ugh. 1/10, would not recommend.

This bank will jerk you back and forth on the approval of your loan. And if you make it to closing. they're going to jerk you around on that as well. If they can find a way to not approve your loan, they'll find it. Only after requesting 100+ documents and waiting your time and money.

I have been employed here for 7 years and seeing there was only 1 review and it was 1 star I felt I needed to share my prospective. Our bank is client friendly. We have the lowest closing costs of anywhere I have worked previously. I have been doing this business since 1998. They service over 100,000 loans and close more loans than any lender in SW Ohio. The client posting a 1 star I personally helped. It was his documentation he provided that did not pass the underwriters. Most happy people do not comment. Usually only unhappy ones. So take it with a grain of salt. Our bank has been open since 1904. Our clients tell us our deal was far better than any of the competition and math don't lie. Our Troy office is pet friendly and we welcome you to compare when you need to buy or refinance a home.

Nick was fantastic. He was always to answer any questions I had. I’m a first time homebuyer and bought a home 1800 miles away so I was not able to be there for a lot of it but I had complete confidence that my transaction was being handled professionally and efficiently. The whole USB staff was great but I preferred working directly with Nick because of the comfort level and knowledge he was able to provide.
