Union Bank Ventura Blvd, Studio City

Dude, it's a bank, what do you expect? They offer free checking accounts (actually free, unlike Wells Fargo or Bank of America or Chase who require minimum balances or direct deposit for free checking and savings accounts). So why people are leaving bad reviews is beyond me. Union Bank is the best Bank I've ever had, and I'm the type of person who hates banks and keeps my money at home. But now I needed a bank for the direct deposit. So no amount of "the teller wasn't nice to me" reviews can change my mind on this...Union Bank is different, and it's for the better.

This branch in Studio City near Vons Market is great Anytime I've had a question or problem they have gone out Of their way to help me, the company I work for also uses them And loves working with them. I usually work with or interact with The tellers and they are very helpful, professional, and extremely Nice to speak with. And no i don't work for the bank!!

Spoke with Andrew here who is very nice, honest and knowledgable above and beyond but the following visit he was not there. That's when the branch manager, Alfred Ovasapyan, took over for him staring that Andrew was wrong (he was not) and proceeded to lie to me about my account and even bank policies! He wasn't misinformed or unknowledgeable, he purposefully lied to cover up bank error and rob me on a college account that was supposed to be a means to save what little money I had! Alfred Ovasapyan is a white collar criminal and a horrible person to have representing a bank or any business!

Great bank, as much as a commercial bank can be!

This bank was recommended to me by fix ur credit for a secured credit card. I am happy with that because Grace was terrific in setting it up. So go see Grace for your banking needs.

Unfortunately, Carlos D. and 'branch manager' Ron Cerros made me uncomfortable. Carlos needs to learn truthful communication and to check his personal bias' at the front door. Above all, they must learn to separate friendship from business. Awful.

Their hours keep changing, and they don't update their website or automated phone service. They've closed half their offices making it very difficult to run our business. Half the time we call there's no answer. I understand it's a tough year, but they need to be there for their customers. Terrible service and horrible branch.
