UNIFY Financial Credit Union Western Way, Torrance

Unify restricted my account that I can’t do online banking or anything else. They have a very slow process on loans. I cannot get approved for any loan products (credit cards and loans) so there’s no point of putting any money in here. I’ve found other better credit unions that are willing to have my business.

Service, response times and equipment started to decline in 2016 and since the change over from WFCU to Unify, it continues to decline. ATM's now break regularly and getting a response via email takes 3-5 days. As a 15 year member of wfcu, makes me wonder if something is drastically wrong with management. As of 7-26-19, seems like they appointed a social media mgr; ATM's are hit and miss in the drive thru.

refused to acknowledge faulty ATM machine. Made a cash deposit about a month ago. But didn't get a receipt. Noticed cash deposit slot flashed red afterwards. Called unify several times , but was blown off, since I'm not member of unify CU.

This place used to be called Western Credit Union. I went to see about doing a loan and opened an account, but then decided not to do business with them and asked to have the account closed. I never put money in their bank, and never stepped back in that place. They authorized the bank account to have $466 pulled out even though there was no money in the account. I complained to them after finding out what happened. But because I complained after 60 day notice, cause I never got the letter, they wouldn't help me. Only 1 guy helped me by giving me the affidavit fraud form. He found the name of who did transaction and to where money was transfered, but they still refuse to take ressponsibilty for transaction that had to ultimately be approved by them. That was 3yrs ago and this issue still hasn't been solved. Remember I only stepped in the place one time and I NEVER PUT MONEY IN THEIR BANK. LEGAL ACTION WILL NOW BE TAKEN.

WORST customer service ever Blanca Carrillo clearly needs to be re-train on how to deal with customers. calls and leaves you o hold for a long period or tells you she will call back and never calls, not sure what kind of service they will call this. glad we weren't able to make business.

No problems, I've never had any there. Always pleasant and friendly. I think I was in line for two minutes. They are always so helpful.

I have been a member of a couple of different banks but the Unify credit union has changed my life. Been a great expeeience until I visited Unify on Anza in Redondo beach. My 1st visit was great until I noticed the female Asian supervisor or manager wont mention names but I thought ok maybe im being rediculous but my 2nd visit confirmed she was flirting with my boyfriend. Very unprofessional. To top it off he isnt the one with the bank acct. Im very disappointed and wont be going back there again.

Agree with previous reviewer that customer service has declined dramatically since name change...new corporate leadership??? Fix the damn ATMs and service and replenish them often especially on weekends. Have tried three separate weekends this month to use the single (??????????????) ATM at my closest branch only to find that ONCE AGAIN IT IS TEMPORARILY OUT OF SERVICE.

I have had great experiences and the customer service at Unify is always great, so helpful and understanding! Specifically Aurora at this branch has always helped me and assisted me with various transactions even when she wasn't originally the one helping me she is always willing to help me and answer my questions.

I like this Western Federal Credit Union located on Western Way in Torrance. They are fast, courteous and friendly. I would highly recommended everyone's to come in and check it out. You will feels like a family. Brandon San Pedro, CA
