I went a couple weeks ago to look for some musical instruments for my sister, and was met with fantastic customer service by Rene. She went above and beyond to help and I ended up leaving with the perfect acoustic guitar. This is a great place to get nice quality items for even nicer prices. 10/10 most definitely will recommend.

Uncle Dan's, (particularly the mockingbird location) has the utmost courteous, friendly and knowledgeable staff I have come across in 20 years of pawn shopping and selling. Today, I had to return an item. (which is rare in my experience with them)Uncle Dan's crew did not need to honor my return, the return was at their discretion, but they went went the extra length to make sure I left their store satisfied!! I cannot say that for many pawn shops. I highly recommend stopping in! The mockingbird location has great electronics. ##SATISFIEDCUSTOMER

I went in looking to buy jewelry. The selection is very limited. I waited about 15 minutes but the jewelry cases for someone to acknowledge me. But nothing. Didn't speak to anyone. I left. Not sure why they wouldn't want my money. Also, prices were high. You could buy most of it for way less on ebay.

Looked around for an engagement ring and was able to find the one here! Went to several different pawn shops, and ran into the same issue with most of them. The one I wanted was fake. Just came in for the first time today to get a loan on two items that I was having a hard time getting other shops to give me a fair price. Eddie helped me get the money I needed and even set up the mobile app on my phone that allows you to make payments on my loan. I will definately be back and refer business!

***Update The response to my review still misleads. The manager did not offer anything, he simply asked what was wrong and then when he was told he said that is strange and started to help someone else. He offered nothing but the employee said that the she would take 30 dollars off the price (which was not very low to start with) If an offer of $40-50 off would have made up for the long drive and value of the product you my have made a sale. I asked specifically if the SSD drive was included and the employee on Offerup confirmed the information. The reason why I call this fraudulent advertising is because the drive your employee talked about (external HDD) was in a glass case for sale on the other side of the store and not in the box that had the Xbox S. I think that the employee posted the wrong price originally and to avoid the mistake the employees removed the drive and it was "lost" as the woman who helped me stated. This place makes fraudulent ads on OfferUp and does not make things right. I drove 45 minutes to buy something after confirming the item several times. When I arrived the person said they made a mistake and did not offer to make it right. I wasted my time and gas driving. They should have offered a better solution other than "sorry we made a mistake." Manager did nothing to assist and instead just ignored the mistake. I have shopped with Dan's in the past and never had such a poor experience. Also the area is filled with people asking for money. Not safe at night time.

Hello friends!! A quick review of my personal experience at Uncle Dan's Pawn Shop at Mockingbird and I35 in Dallas. I am and will continue to be the #1 fan of this Uncle Dan's location! Outside and inside is well maintained & clean, shelves are stocked full of a variety of items which are attractively displayed, prices are fair plus they have a layaway plan. Staff Johnathan & Eddie are knowledgeable, respectful, friendly, welcoming & sincere in their appreciation of their customers. Unfortunately, there is 1 employee, that, during our transaction, I found to be unfriendly, inattentive & disengaged. To be fair. She could have been having a bad day,, but.. Anyways, moving forward i am giving A super HUGE shout out of recognition, appreciation and thanks to Uncle Dan's Associate, Jonathan. Each time I have visited this location, Johnathan provided us the perfect customer experience, giving exceptional customer service. His customer engagement is warm and friendly, Leaving you with the feeling that your business is appreciated and welcome. I like that. Thank you Johnathan and thank you Uncle Dan's. You are now my "go to" location.

Went today to buy a watch they had online with details that said light scratches but works normally. This is an Automatic watch and when i looked at it, it would not start because it is broken. the clerk told me it simply needed a new battery and was fine. He almost seemed confused when i explained to him that an automatic watch did not actually take a battery and that it would not start because it was broken. double checked the last day or so and they still have it up for sale online as working i guess they plan to ship it so it isnt their problem anymore. I am not impressed with their knowledge or with them leaving it up for sale for someone else to get screwed.

Alex is the best customer survive guy I have ever deal with. He make sure to take care of your need in whatever you need. He also gives you a very good price in the jewelry they have really nice jewelry there. When you come to this pawn shop they really take care of you with good customer service.
