The branch manager Sergio was extremely difficult to work with. I deposited $80 into the atm, which turned out did not approved the transaction, rather just ate my money. It took OVER 3 weeks to get my money back. Each time I went into to speak with Sergio, it seemed he just wanted to get me out of the branch. After 3 weeks my bank finally resolved THEIR issue. Worst experience ever. I’ve worked at their competitive credit union (MACU) and this was a common issue, however, we actually had procedures on handling these types of situations whereas Sergio does not. Take your money elsewhere.

Don’t waste your time if you work for yourself and don’t have a W2. I went in to this branch and filled all my paperwork for an auto loan, spent about 40 minutes filling everything out. Then they said I’m good to go home and will hear back by the end of the day from the loan underwriter. Didn’t hear back for 5 business days, and I had to keep contacting to get a response, which was denied because I don’t have 48 months of history in my business. My credit and payment history is excellent and I went here because they offered 2.74% on used car loans. Decided to go to Mountain America Credit Union in Riverton and got the loan fully approved in under an hour for 2.99%. I will gladly pay the few extra pennies a month to never work and waste my time with this branch again.

Persistently the most unpleasant UFCU location I ever visit. Every time I go through the drive-through line with the window, the Tellers are consistently rude and off-putting. Additionally, they always “mistakenly” deposit/withdraw funds from the wrong account to a degree that seems intentional. When visiting this location with individuals who are not a minority or have a similar complexion to myself, the tellers are nice to them and do not make “mistakes” when performing transactions. I suggest all of the employees at this location participate in some type of cross-cultural & tolerance training. Furthermore, if this behavior continues to occur at this location, I will have no choice but to file a complaint. I recommend this location if you enjoy the tellers unwarrantedly glaring at you, being contentious towards you, and have requested transactions to contain “accidental” mistakes. If you don’t enjoy those things, I recommend visiting another University First Federal Credit Union with personnel who are more tolerant and understanding.

I had a really crappy experience at the UFCU branch in Draper a few weeks ago. I had submitted an online application for checking/savings but needed to go in for address verification as we had just closed on a house and the new address hadn't been added to my credit reports yet. After my experience at the Draper branch I was just going to let the application expire and stay with my current credit union, but I live close to this branch and decided to go give them a try yesterday afternoon. The first girl who greeted me, I wish I would have got her name, (I think her name tag said customer service manager) was so nice and helped me right away. She got me over to Blake who again, was so nice and helped me through everything I needed to get done. MUCH better experience here and I was happy I was able to get everything sorted out. I got my checking, savings and credit card set up within a few hours. When I went back to get my credit card, the 2nd girl that helped me (again, terrible with names) was so nice and friendly as well. This branch is amazing. Thank you for the wonderful customer service!!!!

I have been working with University Credit Union my whole life. My dad set me up with an account here when i was young. I lived in Sandy and stopped in this Riverton branch one day to inquiry about loan information on my way to herriman. From then on i drove past 3 other University Credit Unions just to be able to work with Dan, one of the loan officers/ managers. He is amazing to work with and takes awesome care of anything i might need and always lets me know of new things to help save me money, better a loan, and will always answer any questions i have. Love this bank and will continue to work with University Credit Union and Dan.

We decided to transfer over to UFirst from another bank. We have been very impressed with how things have been handle and the employees. Annessa has made the transition easy and willing to help with our all questions.

The credit union didn't even notify me they sent my account to collections... No warning or anything. And this is after they messed up prior charging me with late fees because they couldn't make my payment accurately..... "I'd like to make the full payment".... What a joke.

I love my Cottonwood branch and the staff there. Christian has always given my family I great customer service.

Absolutely my favorite branch (and bank). Jordan has been incredibly helpful over the years that we have been here. Each employee has always been so kind and helpful. UFCU's seminars for mortgages, business loans, and credit are incredibly helpful also. This bank will take care of you!

I just wanted to give a shout out to Zach the loan officer at this location. He really went out of his way to help me with a very confusing situation. He made sure that i knew i could call him if i needed anything and i did end up calling him back with a couple of questions and he helped me right away. I feel like he cared about helping me and that is hard to find. Thanks again Zach!
