I would not use this bank EVER! They raised the fees on our account from $0 to $25 per month without any notification (email, app, phone) and we did not notice for several months after $100s of dollars were gone. We had the account for 7 years. You work so hard and they just take your money. It should be illegal! My recommendation is avoid the big banks and stick with a local bank or credit union.

I received an odd email and voicemail from USBank and wanted to confirm the authenticity. I called the local Elkhorn branch and spoke with Jake. He researched the inquiry and validated that it was legitimate. He called back and said that it was resolved. Thank you for great local service!

I have had nothing but problems since I opened this account. I was with great western bank for 15 years til there merger. I chose to change to us bank because my boyfriend banks here. US bank makes it impossible to get your money once you start the account. Not to mention the 4 day hold on my account because my address is different on my ID when I just moved the previous week. I brought a $3000 check from Great western to deposit and they only will give you $225 until 6 days is up. Ok great. Well they do this for 30 days and give you no way to cash checks and pay your bills for that 30 days. They didn't tell me this till after I open the account and tell me it has to do with a background check.. ok you sure did give me a $10k credit card limit preapproved in 2 minutes. Now I go to deposit my check through the app this week knowing I will only get $225 til next week and apparently I cant even deposit checks for more than $200.... I was never told this. So not only will I not get my paycheck when I deposit it I have to take time to drive to the bank to not get my money. I have never had a worse experience with a bank.

This is the closest branch closest to my home in Ashland. Staff looks polished and branch is usually pretty quiet. I’ve always had a good experience in the drive-through and things move quickly. When you go inside though the staff seems to tolerate you. Very little smiling no reciprocation when you say thank you. It gets the job done for a bank. Had a large check to deposit and told there would be a hold on a majority of it as procedure. However, the associate froze the entire account by negligence. It was the weekend and we needed the money as we were moving into a new house and needed to pay a contractor to make the home accessible to enter for my son's wheelchair. Wound up carrying him in and out because the 800 number said only the branch could fix the error and they were closed. Called on Monday and the manager could have cared less about it.

I've been with the bank since 2007. Usually they're really good about working with me if I have questions or make an error regarding my account. However, this one time the manager(Sarah) blaitenly did nothing to help my situation. Didn't offer suggestions or show compassion to the situation, simply stated there's nothing she could do.

Would recommend you go to any US bank but this one. This branch ALWAYS has different rules than the other ones. I will call and ask another branch and get a different answer.
