U.S. Bank Branch W Fond Du Lac St, Ripon

I don't currently have an account at US Bank, nor have I used their savings and checking account services; however, when I was just starting as an undergrad at Ripon College, I decided to put some of my summer job savings away in a CD. At the time, the US Bank CD Specials were some of the best rates I could find, and although they're set to mature at strange intervals of time (mine was a 45 (?) month CD), the rate was nearly unbeatable. This maturity ended up being around the second half of spring semester my senior year - an extremely busy and stressful time for many, including myself. I didn't really find time to make it to the bank, albeit only a few minute drive away, when the CD matured, but I called a few times stating I didn't want to roll it over and I'd be in soon (hopefully) to sign the paperwork and pick up the check. I ended up not getting there until a week or two after the date it was supposed to roll over, but the lady who helped me out was great. She didn't charge me for pulling the money out of the CD it had rolled over into (due to my intent to get it before that date), and she was extremely welcoming and friendly. I suggest that if you're looking for a bank with a bit of a personal touch, you try this one out; I had a great experience.

I primarily bank at USB in FDL. I have dealt with Anne Pierce in commercial lending & Amanda Henschel in home financing & have had an extremely pleasant experience working with them. They are always helpful when I have questions or concerns & knowledgeable in their respective fields. I would give them as well as the rest of the staff & management FIVE STAR rating & would recommend them without hesitation. *****!

Hours for this bank make it basically useless….

Absolutely soulless bank!!!! My 6 year old daughter and I stopped in this bank to EXCHANGE her piggy bank coins for dollar bills. They told a six year old girl that they can’t help her because she doesn’t have a bank account there, so therefore we had to leave. And tears followed as we walked across the parking lot back to our car. We had only stopped there because our BMO HARRIS BANK was closed today, so then we went to the grocery store did a little shopping and then got to the checkout and my daughter told the cashier what happened so she told my daughter to go back out to the car and get her coins and then she brought the manager over and then they started counting out my daughter’s coins and they were genuinely happy to do it just to make a little girl smile, WE WILL NEVER GET AN ACCOUNT WITH US BANK , it was just to exchange legal tender not cash a check, a paycheck, a money order, just coins for dollars, HEARTLESS,

Awful! I opened a checking account two weeks ago and they shut it down, cause I don’t reach there “requirements”. They said and I quote “ we don’t just hand checking accounts to just anyone”. First off this is a checking account not a credit card or anything of that sort. This account goes based on my income and you think I don’t meet your requirements. Well us bank you don’t reach my requirements! Thank you, next!
