TVFCU - Soddy Daisy Dayton Pike, Soddy Daisy

So over their fraud detection contractor. Have loved TVFCU until they “upgraded” their system. Can’t even use their Debit Card at their branch ATMs without them freezing the card for suspicious activity. 3 out 3 times over the last month. Super inconvenient.

I have banked with TVFCU for over 12 years now and they have consistently been the worst bank I have dealt with. Their online security is subpar and their reps are not willing to work with you on loans even if you have worked with the bank for an extended amount of time. I would suggest using a different bank with my resources at their disposal. My mom who also banked with TVFCU got her accounts hacked and money siphoned out of her accounts due to lack of online security.

Went to the Dayton location on Saturday which has on the door they are open on Saturday but no one was there so I called Soddy Daisy branch and talked to Tammy to let her know we wanted to open a checking account but we were in Dayton and the location was closed and we were headed to Soddy but it takes 20 minutes for us to get there would they wait a minute or two for us. She said no we close exactly at 1p not 1 minute late. So I do my best to get there before 1:00 but I make it by 1:02. They were locked and closed. They want you to think they are your hometown bank if that were true they would give you hometown service!

I've had 2 overdraft fees my entire time with tennessee valley. This bank is absolutely ridiculous and I suggest you do NOT bank with them. Both overdraft fees were people trying to hack my husband's paypal account and my paypal account respectively. To put that into perspective, someone tried to steal $1000 through my paypal account, and they would NOT refund the overdraft. Seriously stupid bank.

This is my first time doing business with this company and it was so easy to make a payment. Everything about it was so quick and easy!

I have used TVFCU for years. Just refinanced and worked with Tina @ this branch and she made the whole process so easy! Everyone I worked with was fantastic! Would reccomend and use again!

My wife and I switched over to this bank a few months ago and are so glad we did. The customer service here has been outstanding and we continue to enjoy this partnership.
