Traded my '01 2500 Cummins for a '10. Gene gave me a great price for my trade and a fair price on the purchased truck. I have had the truck for 2 years, put about 57k miles on it, and have had no issues. Definitely a reliable, sound 3/4 ton. I would go back, and recommend a visit if you're looking for a truck.

Do not buy vehicles from these guys. They are liars and scammers. I bought a 60k truck from them. Was lied to about a numerous things. Gene the salesman will sell you a dream while telling you he’s a veteran but ultimately he’s a con. Do not trust these guys.

DISGUSTING. Not only did the truck that this place claims they did “120 point” inspection on have these birds all lodged in the front (that have obviously been there for more than 2 weeks that my boyfriend has only had it!) BBBUUUUTTTTT, leaving the place not even 10 minutes down the road after getting it had his check engine light come on for evap leak and something else that he’s been figuring out. Then just the other day his front caliper seized on us while we were driving & was smoking (Pictured as well as best I could get the smoke cause I can’t post the video). This place is worthless. Drove 2 hours to get screwed. If I could leave less than 1 star I absolutely would. Don’t shop here, they are a fraud of a company! Every single bad review on this are the most accurate reviews I’ve ever read in my life saying this place is trash. My boyfriend threw his key tag away that said their business name and took plate covers of his car because he wouldn’t recommend anyone going here ever.

Helped my daughter buy her first car and we went to see a 2017 Ford Fusion at Tuf Trucks. Gene helped us out. Very friendly and professional sales person. Gene helped us work out a deal on the car we wanted, took care of all the paperwork and we simply showed up and picked up the vehicle. The car had been detailed inside and out and we have been happy with the entire experience. I would recommend Gene and the Tuf Trucks dealership to any one.

Worst buying experience ever. Truck windshield leaked so bad it might as well not have been there at all yet the reason they made us wait extra days to get it was so they could wash and detail it. You’d think they’d have noticed the water going inside the truck! Battery died within first few months. Didn’t want to return phone calls or fix the issues. Would Not recommend this dealer and will certainly never use them again.

    Response from the owner

Hi Tammi, I am sorry to hear about this negative experience. We pride ourselves with making sure all of our customers are happy, and if they have an issue, my team is trained to make sure those issues are taken care of. The last thing we want is an unhappy customer, and the cost of a battery or windshield is not worth having you unhappy. Please let me know how I can make this up to you in the future, as I assure you I will. Feel free to reach out to me personally here at the store, so I can figure out where things went wrong. Sincerely, Mike

got mocked by salesman, didn't follow up on my warranty. brought truck back 7x before it was correct. had a deal, went to sign and it was changed wo asking me first. glad I read over it- update- truck had an issue that was found by another dealer that was possibly hidden by this dealer- have your vehicle looked over by a 3rd party before you buy

    Response from the owner

Good Morning Jason, This is Mike Evans, General Manager at Tuf Trucks. I see you are upset with our dealership, after seeing your 1 star review on google. I am very sorry that you had this experience with us. I would appreciate a chance to speak with you regarding your experience, and to see if I can help you out in any way. I realize you purchased this truck 3 ½ years ago, so I am not sure why the recent negative review, but again, I am here to help you regardless. The sales person that you dealt with, Wayne, has been with our company for 18 years. I am very surprised to hear that you felt he was mocking you, as he is one of the most genuine people I have ever met. In addition, we would never try to hide an issue with a vehicle we are selling. That just wouldn't make good business sense. We depend on repeat customers, and that would be no way to achieve that. Please, take a minute to contact me, as I tried to call your number on file, but it is disconnected. I look forward to rectifying this with you. Mike

Went to tuftrucks after finding a truck online I liked. Dealt with Frank as my salesman. From the minute i stepped in the door he was there to answer questions and help me out in anyway he could. We test drove the truck i had been looking at online and looked at a few others that were in the same price range. Frank and Rafealle went above and beyond to make sure they could get me the financing. It was a headache free experience. Two months later we were in the market for another vehicle so I went back to frank and he got us set up in a minivan that is perfect for our family. We had few minor mechanical issues with the van after purchase that were not covered by the 90 day warranty but frank went to the service dept with me and made sure it was taken care of free of charge. I have their phone number on speed dial and look forward to purchasing my next used vehicle from them in a few yrs. Great all around team.

We recently bought a 2018 Chevy Silverado from Tuff trucks. Everything about the buying process was simple and easy from scheduling the spot, taking the test drive and signing the paperwork. It was all a breeze. We even had a trade in and balance we had to transfer over and everything was so simple. They took care of it all. Our salesmen Gene was a wonderful guy! Super nice and easy going and not pushy at all! If you are looking for a great truck at a reasonable price then I would recommend Tuff trucks.

Please beware of this dealership. They will screw you over and will not feel sorry about it. Not only is everything over priced by thousands of dollars, a majority of their vehicles are a mechanics nightmare. The truck we had purchased broke down immediately after buying it. Dealership REFUSED to fix it, or even look at it. The truck has spent more time in the shop than it has on the road driving. The first month of having the vehicle we ran out of tows from AAA (which is 4)... took it to an actual mechanic who knows what he is doing. He said he has never seen a truck in poorer condition. The mechanics words were “the dealership should have their license revoked for even letting this pass inspection.” They WILL give you the run around and say they try to “go the extra mile”. No they don’t, they’ll rob you blind and let the door hit you on the way out. Do not take these bad reviews lightly. I’ve seen first hand how they will treat you.

First of all, we have been searching for a truck at a decent price for months. After a google search I found Tuf Trucks. Gene, our salesman, was amazing. Honest and right to the point. We will be back, my family will be back. If you want a clean, honest truck dealer, I high suggest working with this company!! Thank you again for everything!!! I would like to edit this post, if you need a reliable vehicle, DO NOT BUY FROM HERE!!! We bought a truck$31,000 cash, no bank involved... Had the truck less than a month, engine light came on.. When we called they nicely added that there was no warranty..... Which in NYS there is a 30 day warranty..... They didnt want to hear it though.... So, its now two months, less than 500 miles has been put on this truck and its sitting at a repair shop needing a lot of work. Mechanic suggests oil change even!!! Theres a sticker in windshield that it was done, but highly doubt it... Honestly, save yourself a ton of money and go somewhere else!!!

    Response from the owner

Hi Alisha, So sorry to hear about your experience. It seems you were happy at first, but someone must have dropped the ball here at the store. We would never turn a customer away with an issue. Realistically, there is not a 30 day warranty on vehicles over 100k miles and it appears your truck had over 100k on it when you purchased it. Regardless of that, we would have been more than happy to help you you issues, as that is how we keep our customers happy. I would be more than happy to speak with you regarding the correspondence with my team to find out where the disconnect happened. In addition, I would be happy to help you in the future with any repairs or maintenance items at a discount to make up for the miscommunication. Please feel free to reach out to me here at the store for more help. Mike

I hope for the same service I provide. As a director of customer care, I answer emails quickly, return phone calls promptly. I try to solve my customers problems and not waste their time. At the end of the day, I want them to be happy with the sale so they will let me help them again. That’s what I do, and it’s what I hope for when I shop. I don’t usually get it and I never expect it from a car salesman. And that brings us to Tuff Trucks and a pleasant surprise. I’d be looking at a new to me truck for a while, and one they had caught my eye a few months ago. Nice looking truck, just what I wanted actually, seemed like a fair price. I wasn’t ready to buy, but I made a note about it. Couple months go buy and I’m shopping around the internet, and the truck is still there. Must be something wrong with it. There is a contact us button, so I do. What’s the deal with this truck I ask and hit send? A little while later, I get an email back form Gene. Nothing he says, it’s a nice truck, come take a look. Impressed he got back to me and didn’t have a hard sell line; I file it away. Couple months more, truck is still there. Another email, “really, what’s the deal?’ Another email back from Gene, nothing, here’s the car fax on it. Come see it. Still no hard sell, no money talk (price is on line) but I’m so gun shy of car salesmen I don’t know what to think. Jump ahead another month to April. Truck is still on their lot. I go to see it on my lunch break. First person I meet is Ben, super nice guy, tells me, yep, nothing wrong with the truck. It’s 2-wheel drive and most people want 4x4. He gives me the keys, says take it for a spin. It’s a nice truck. I get back, Ben asked if I had talked to anyone. I said no, just emailed Gene. He says ok, I’ll get Gene. Now I’m thinking, here we go. Handing me off to get the used car lot treatment. But Gene is also super nice. Walked me around the truck, same story, 2-wheel drive, people want 4x4. Price is fair, has new tires on the back. I’d have liked new tires all around, but the fronts passed inspection. OK, I’ll give it a shot, lets make a deal. He runs my credit, it’s good, we can make this work. You want to come back Monday (it was a Thursday) I figure, what the heck. Gene, I’m on my lunch break, you make the deal and I’ll drive it home today. A bit of a jerk move on my part, but I was still waiting for this to turn bad. OK he says, he talked to his finance guy, sign here, it’s your truck. I was a bit shocked. I didn’t feel dirty or that I had been taken advantage of. Was a great experience. But what about if something goes wrong with a new used truck. Well, I tried that too. Check engine light came on after I put gas in it the first time. I stopped back and met Matt, the service manager. Again, super nice guy. Ran some tests, thought it was just because the truck had set for so long. Reset it and said call him if it came back on. OK but what if something bad happens. Got you covered. Had the truck for 10 days, drove to the post office for work. Came back out and it wouldn’t start. No jump would work. I’m feeling this might be it. I call Gene and Matt; they say get it here and we’ll take a look. Now I’m going to get it. I remember when I signed off that I didn’t want the special extended warranty. This is where they are going to get me. Everyone one was telling me be ready to fight, go in there and yell, threaten to get a lawyer. I give them the benefit of the doubt, let’s see what happens. Well, what happens is Matt fixed and called me and said you’re all set. Starter went, put a new one in. checked all the wire, you’re good to go. That was it. I’ve had the truck a month now and love it. I’m past the lemon law, so if something goes wrong, I’m paying now. But I would not hold that against Tuff Trucks. I would be happy to recommend them to anyone truck shopping. They were friendly, helpful, respectful and prompt. They got me in a truck for a fair price, and didn’t waste my time. I couldn’t hope for more.

Totally unhappy experience. Mike from tuff trucks tried running my Buddy’s credit before even showing us the truck for absolutely no reason, which is a really unprofessional and wrong sales tactic. Then shows us the truck and we nicely explained we weren’t interested, then takes us back in and we explain we just want to view a few other trucks and he continues to ask about the financing etc etc and we tell him the price range and to show us the trucks. That lead to him getting their finance guy when all we simply wanted to do was look at the inventory in the price range... basically argued with us I’ll never go back nor refer anybody their. STAY AWAY ITS A WASTE OF YOUR TIME. Consider this your warning

The customer service and respect both Wayne and Rafael have is incredible. I think about it every time I drive by the area. Unfortunately, they didnt have the right truck on the lot for me at the time(I am extremely picky.) I honestly had a better experience not buying a truck from them the experience I had buying the truck I did. I love my new truck, but the passion wasn't there in those people. I definitely will go back to see Wayne and Rafael when I'm ready to buy my next vehicle!
