Was a SunTrust customer for many years my wife and I were primer members. Truist took over BB&T and SunTrust so there were 3 branches truist could pick from. We now have no safety deposit boxes which we had for years. We go in the bank they had 5 tellers, but only 2 office personal helping with accounts. Took 45 minutes for them to deal with the 2 customers. They were helping when we walked in, problem was there were 3 people ahead of us. I really think Truist made a very poor choice in the bank they picked to keep open. Then you take all the people from 3 banks and only have 2 customer service people. If this happens more than a couple of times. I'll find another bank.

Worst customer service I’ve ever received in my life. This bank doesn’t care about their CUSTOMERS at all. Do yourself a favor and bank somewhere else, somewhere the bankers are respectful, caring, and know what they’re doing. Bunch of idiots at this branch, and every time I deal with them, whether it’s in person or on the phone. I don’t usually leave negative reviews, but I’m going to this time. They earned it. I’m going to tell EVERYONE I ENCOUNTER throughout my day what an awful bank this is, and to bank somewhere else. I’m going to be really petty about this, that’s how much I hate this bank. Switched banks last week. Peace out!!! ✌️

The worst bank on the planet! They will hold your checks for weeks!! They give no explanations!! Except says it’s policy to hold a check for 2 weeks they don’t care about you or your situation!! Horrible customer service on the phone and in the branch!!! The only one who tried to help is sally but she can’t save the whole company!! Literally the worst bank ever!!!!!!! If I had time I would hold a sign in front of the place protesting lol I so would!! Please listen and go somewhere else I’ve had nothing but problems since I been a loyal customer! From debit cards to bank deposits to customer service Hands down the worst experiences!!!!!!!! I will be closing my account and telling everyone about my experiences! Go somewhere else!

I was at the bank at 0900. It took 20 mins to deposit one check. Once I recieved my deposit slip back the teller didn't ask if there was anything else she could help me with and went to help another customer. By the way I did have some additional transactions. "Customer Service" please.

ATM always full and can never make any deposits later in the day as I’m not able to go early in the day. The drive thru area SUCKS!!!!!! It’s way to small for the amount of vehicles that go thru. I’m currently looking for a new bank

Never did business with BB&T before. But if the Account Specialist Susanna at the Plant City Location is an example of the Quality of Account Specialist that works for BB&T then I will be strongly recommending them from now on !!! Things are really tough dealing with any transition period and BB&T and Suntrust is getting swallowed up by Truist Financial a Bank Holding Company. My Girlfriend and I had to open an account for her so she can start receiving her SSD Direct Deposits. Then with the fact that she had no bills, no credit, and no financial history didn't help things either. . . . But not BB&T's or Truist fault. But Susanna worked feverously to get us through so many obstacles and bumps along the way as possible. Then when the account was finally approved the two systems between Truist and BB&T wouldn't cooperate to allow the first cash deposit. So, Susanna contacted the Brandon Branch of BB&T who hadn't receive the new system with Truist yet and got them to agree to take the cash deposit. Now was this an inconvenience to have to go to Brandon ?, . . Sure it was, but we were on a time crunch to get this open and it had to be done that way under the current transition period. Sometimes we got to step back and realize the employees are doing everything they can with what they got to work with. But exceptional employees like Susanna go the extra mile !!! She should be over all training of Customer Service Trainees and New Hires, with a New Title and Promotion !!!! Thank You, Susanna !!!

This company is unethical and rude. After starting an account with bb&t I was not allowed access to use the account. They charged me their monthly $12 fee until I owed them money and then truist took over and sent that to collections. When calling this location to sort this out, I was left on hold for an insane amount of time for the number for their back office. Seems like something they should easily have on hand. I do not recommend this bank, and encourage everyone to go elsewhere. They are a scam with their monthly fees, way to kick people when they are down and under employed. Don't risk your future with this terrible company.

Came into the new Truist. After being a business customer for 20 years and I have a personal account through them , you would think they would treat you with alittle warmth. Nope, not Sally, my teller I had today. She wasn't even friendly. It's sad .

I've banked with SunTrust for many years, and I don't ever recall being so disappointed at the service I've received since the merger. Every aspect of this bank's service is horrible!! Unfortunately I don't the service probably won't get better, I just dont sense a strive for excellence.

I am changing my review because the new branch manager Victor has reached out to me he is personable and seems to actually care, When truist changed over it cost me, and caused me lot of problems with no apologies and has never try to make amends. So far the experience with Victor the new manager has been beyond reproach
