Truist Cobb Galleria Pkwy, Atlanta

Ive seen the negative comments here and I understand greatly. If they have great reviews then its from their friends not customers. The tellers are rude at this location especially Melanie. They told an employee from a restaurant that they dont have no 1s or 5s or never have coin change. A bank with no small bills?? Its no such thing as being overworked and understaffed when most time they are sitting down. Ive never seen this location busy its no need to be rude and unprofessional.

The recently merged SunTrust in BB&T now Truist, has had some tough challenges, but it's starting to come together. A little bit of patience and a good team at this branch on Cobb Galleria Parkway.

I’m not sure if it’s this location or BB&T in general but the amount of inconvenience I’ve experienced while being with this bank is incredible. The teller was rude and very unhelpful and none of the bankers were able to give me much information about my account being blocked.

Love this location! Very close to my home. The fact that they stay open until 6pm M-F is a plus. Matt, the manager is very helpful and tries to come out and greet customers. The tellers always welcome you and if you bank here or a regular basis, they know your name. I never have to wait more than 10 min. for service, even if you go during their busy time. The assistant mangers are very helpful as well, very accommodating and try to solve your problems quickly. The monthly service fee of $5.00 does not bother me as their customer service and Check fraud department notify you if there are questionable charges on your checking account. They are a "big" bank that the branches operate with a down home feel. True hospitality! Love BB&T.

Until recently, I did like BBT however that has changed due to a "new" maintenance fee they impose on members that do not have a direct deposit linked to their checking account. I called to inquire about this and the new fee began April 2016 without my knowledge. I happened to check my account history and noticed the fees incurred. They were not open to removing the fee, but did suggest opening a different account to prevent this from occurring again. Not impressed with this bank and will be moving my funds to my primary bank.

Has become a majorly threatening org. I deal on multi million dollar deals. They neglected to transfer an auto pay issue from bbt to truist. This totally destroyed my partners credit score fully threatening a 20 million dollar merger we where dealing with . What’s worse they refused to do anything. Not returning emails on multiple requests etc. we finally ended up hiring a law firm to go after the office of the president of the entire truist org to get them to do anything, meanwhile this was going on they also refused to remove a past due after it was paid in full for months for myself also destroying my credit score and directly threatening another 11 million dollar deal we are working on. Be warned. Dangerous and toxic org out of control with zero respect for customers even at the multi million dollar level. We came close to filing an 15 million dollar direct damages suit plus ancillary damages on them in the millions had they succeeded to foil our deals. Just letting folks know. This was a major threat to our org. If you run a decently sized org as well. You have been clearly warned. Hope this helps someone.

I have to deposit money here for a restaurant. so the stack has quite a bit of smaller bills 1’s , 5’s. The lady there told me unless every bill is ironed perfectly flat she will not help me. Says the counting machine will not work. I’ve gone to many other BB&Ts and never had such rude communication by a teller. Said she doesn’t have time to straighten few edges. Well maybe this isn’t a good job for her because last time I check one of the few jobs a teller has to do is count money. Never coming here again.

Subpar customer service An Inconvenient location and they couldn't service my needs given my particular situation. Chronically understaffed as well. Don't waste your time with this Branch will company

POOR COMMUNICATION! I had to make a deposit to a business account. It took 10min AFTER I gave them the deposit for me to receive the transaction receipt. Since we're in a pandemic, we can only use the drive thru. So if you're just sitting in your car, twiddling your thumbs, wondering what's the hold up and nobody is checking in with you, that's terrible service. Mind you, I was the 1st person there!! A visit that should've been quick took a total of 20min, smh.
