Terrible since the switch! They have flagged my account for fraud 3x for purchases I made! Then when I call the bank they say there is no fraud on my account. Once I get the manger involved they say oh I see the fraud. This time they told me to call the number on the card. I call the number and they guy gives me attitude saying your card hasn’t been flagged and then when I ask why my card isn’t working he won’t give me an answer. This is the 3rd time I have not been able to access my money since BBT became Truist Update: the white lady up front with glasses has a real nasty attitude. She loves mumbling things under her breathe. I will be switching banks ASAP due to her poor customer service skills. She should really quit if doing HER JOB is that hard for her. Never once did I have a problem with BB&T. I’ve had multiple problems with Truist and they act like the problem is my fault.

Extremely rude staff. 3 working with no line and nobody greeted me. Then told me to wait - for what? So that they can take their lunch break in the middle of the afternoon?

Very unfriendly. Came into the branch and the first thing the tellers say very rudely is, "You're going to have to wait. I have people in drive-thru." "Yeah me too." They acted like I was a burden and unwelcome. Also, I had just had an accident in the parking lot where I dropped over $500 in dollar coins. Very rudely they said they can't take the coins because they are broken open. Weren't even polite about my spill outside. I asked for dollar coin wrappers and they had none. Yeah don't go to this branch because 1) they don't want you there and 2) they are not willing to provide customer service. I am a customer and understand people have bad days, but this was over the top. If any Truist executives or managers ever read this, you should probably have a talk with your employees about empathy, kindness, and helpfulness.

It’s 9:39am on a Saturday. Hours on google say they are open from 9-noon. Call the branch and the recording says they are currently closed but when they say the hours it says they are open from 9-noon. No cars in the parking lot and both drive through lanes are closed. What a joke.

The ATM blacked out in the middle of a cash deposit 5 days later an analyst denied my claim stating it was no record. They are thieves & I will be closing my account.

Not only was I not greeted, upon entering, but was disturbed that Carrie unprofessionally announced my personal business, a large cash withdrawal, for all to hear while chiding me several times for not calling ahead to do so. Hello, need i remind you...This is my money!!! The tellers are not friendly, personable, or professional at this location, or the Joppa Road location It's was awesome when it was Susquehanna! Too bad, so sad!

Couldn't be more unhappy with BB&T. I moved banking to another bank a few months ago. I disabled autodraft 'protection' and waited until all autodrafts and recurring payments were moved away from the BB&T accounts. I visited the branch in person this Sunday to close down both checking and savings. I was told that checking couldn't be closed down until Tuesday because of some banking policy around PIN payments. Savings was closed without a problem. This morning i received an automated txt alert that my checking account is negative because of a "returned item fee" ... so i'm sure that the checking account isn't going to be closed! There hasn't been a recurring debit on this account in over three months and the PIN card is long since destroyed.. i'm at a loss to understand (1) why the account couldn't have been closed MONDAY instead of Tuesday, and (2) what the actual odds are of a PIN transaction popping up on my account THE DAY ITS SUPPOSED TO BE CLOSED and being charged for whatever this is even though autodraft protection is long since disabled. If I consider my time, this account has cost me hundreds. It hasn't been a convenience or had any value to my family (especially compared to where I moved my banking to). Completely unhappy. I'm sure there'll be a "I'm the manager and want to make this right so call me at 1800-bbt-help" But, you see, that's the problem. This has already taken too much of my time. It's a joke that a checking account requires so much of my immediate attention. Completely disenchanted with the brand and their failure to adopt a modern banking system with anything better than mediocre customer service.

Bye Bye BB and T! 👋🏻👋🏻 Deposited a business check on Thursday March 26th, 2020 and the branch took it upon themselves to place a 8 DAY HOLD on my funds and now they won't be released until April 3rd, 2020... please remember I'm writing this review in 2020, not 1990, when 7 day holds were more routine.... they also NEVER open on time... me and the BB and T rep at headquarters are sitting here at 9:14am trying to get them to answer the phone at the branch when they were supposed to open at 9:00am. Par for the course! Avoid this bank at all costs, they pay games with YOUR money.
