This bank utterly just combined with some of the worst rated banks out there and closed a large number of their locations. I had the misfortune of having to open an estate account with this bank. When the checks never arrived, I tried calling them. Out of 9 attempts during hours which they were open, their automated system hung up on me almost every time, so when I had lost or stolen checks to report they proved to be utterly unreachable. Furthermore, their minimum balances are absurd, and each and every encounter I have had with them has been unpleasant. The employees are nice, they have to be as this bank is otherwise awful.

Went through the computer teller today. What a horrible experience. Waited in line 25 minutes drive up pushed button to speak to someone waited 7 more minutes for a person to appear. I told them I had a check from a SunTrust account that I wanted to cash. I had my driver's license available. He asked if I had a atm card. I said no I do not have an account but this check is on your bank. He said we cannot cash it. You must go to s branch that has a drive thru or call an make an appointment to go into the branch. For a 50 dollar check my mom wrote to me for mother's day wasted 45 minutes and still did not cash it. Poor service during the bank closure.

Great friendly staff! Left my bank wallet on counter , boy was I glad they called me right away! Also..Fraud center called me once that my card number had been attempted a charge of $240 at 2AM I wasn't sure if the call was legitimate so I called the branch and got immediate action! Thank you soooo much!

I called to ask a couple of mortgage related questions and spoke to Kelly. She was great! Given how generally horrific SunTrust’s automated call-in system is, speaking with this branch was a breath of fresh air.

If you were to hand your money over to a complete stranger they would probably do a better job of protecting your money than SunTrust. First off, they don't allow you to dispute transactions. One time I made an online purchase from a site I hadn't used before. It was a one-time transaction but the merchant continued to charge my account more times and on different dates beyond that without permission. The only option SunTrust gave me was to lock my card permanently. Luckily I was able to contact a decent human at the company and have my card info deleted on their end. If they had been complete theives they could've drained me for every dollar, and if SunTrust did anything at all it would be adding a $37 overdraft fee for each time they ran the card. If a few transactions made elsewhere 5 days before were still processing, those would overdraft as well in that situation. The order in which they are supposed to process your transactions is explained on their site and pamphlet, but they don't always follow it. I've gone over it with tellers and managers at multiple branches and many times over the phone. Even when they admit there is a mistake they don't fix it. The merger won't change things either. Considering how BB&T charges $8 to cash their own checks if you don't have an account with them, I expect Truist will be one of the most crooked and greedy banks in the country.

I was in the Chapman hwy bank yesterday about 4 or 4:30 with my bff. We went in to cash his payroll check, although he didn't have an account there, however his employer did. I thought the teller wss wss extremely rude, and very unfriendly. I bank at First Horizon where they are nice and friendly. Was thinking about getting a 2nd savings account, but it wont be here!!!!

The back management is very helpful and the bank manager Kelly Whitin helped me with a HELOC and she has given great advice over the 10 year ive knowed her I would recommend Sun Trust to others.

Should keep pens on hand for customers to sign there checks and etc. The digital talking I'm not with it. An I waited in line forever to be told they cannot cash it because they don't carry pens anymore for people to sign there stuff.

this branch is good, but I would not recommend this bank. I had a bad experience with my account and just received numbers to call. the three stars is because this branch isn't bad.
