Not even 30 days late on a car loan and Ashley Hayslitt called my dad and father in law saying she needed to speak to me. I might have understood if I was over 30 days behind but I wasn't. I reached out to her and she said I had signed a paper allowing this. No one else was on my car loan. Not even my wife. Which she did not call but, called family members about my debt. She broke regulations telling my dad if I was behind on a payment or not. This is absolutely horrid behavior from a bank. It was embarrassing for me and my wife. I had gotten in a car accident and got low on money. Felt like a kick when I was down.

Fantastic credit union! Staff is very friendly and the rates are very competitive.

This bank is only out to make money off their customers. They do NOT care in any way for the well-being of their customers

I love this bank and I love the people I interact with when I have to go to the bank BUT their online service is poor. The app is not good too. I can never sign in to the website or app and when I call about it or to get my balance, they tell me the website is down....it's always down. Always. I'd like to know how much much I have in the bank!

Tried to open a basic savings account but they denied because I wouldn't let them run my credit. My credit is frozen because my information has been in several breaches over the years. Why in the world would you need to run me through Experian to open a savings account? Even told them as much and reiterated I had multiple forms of ID and everything else they asked for. Apparently the employees are not empowered to use any common sense at this bank.

Super great staff and physical locations, but almost impossible to get your account linked to anything online (budget trackers, paypal, etc). Super frustrating.

Love the staff here. They’re always super helpful and friendly. I have only had one small issue at this location. It took almost 20 minutes to cash out my coin ticket and get bigger bills for 60 one dollar bills. I’m not sure if Brenda was having a bad day, as we all do, and I like to give the benefit of the doubt to people, but she reprimanded me because my bills did not lay flat. They weren’t crinkled or wadded up, I had just unfolded them and didn’t have time to flatten it with a book. She made a couple comments through the entire interaction, even though it only spit out one bill. Once again I love this location and have only had positive experiences except that one.

Allison Holt has worked with me and my husband to get a refinance equity loan that we desperately needed during the Covid outbreak . She made sure our debts were paid off, we didn't have to do anything she did it all herself and took out enough money for home repairs that have needed to be taken care of for the last 3 years. I would recommend TVA for banking and Allison to anyone who needs help with any type of loan. Thank you T.V.A. and Allison Holt for a wonderful experience with my savings and checking account service and working with us to get our needs met.

My husband and I just went through the refinance process with Allison Holt, Real Estate Loan Officer at the South Knoxville branch. Hands down, she was the most professional, knowledgeable, and understanding person I have ever had the pleasure of working with. During this stressful process, she was informative, helpful, and looking outside of the box to help my husband and I in any way possible giving advice to better our situation and offering additional tools to reach our goals. 5 stars seems too little to rate this experience and Allison! I have and will continue to tell everyone I know that TVA is the place to go! Also, Ashley Dunlap has provided top notch service helping in any way possible. She displays compassion, understanding, and professionalism offering all options to help us reach our goals. These ladies are the best!

I have been a member of the credit union for 20 years and I could not be happier. I have shopped around for the best rates, banking services, and customer service reps at innumerable banks, and have always found TVAECU beats them all. They have the best rates and the best customer service of anywhere I've ever banked. In fact, you cannot really compare the credit union experience with that of a bank, especially a big national bank. Banks are the worst! And credit unions are the bomb. :)
