I have used several banks in several different states. Bb&t on Jake Alexander Blvd in Salisbury NC thus far have the friendliest and most helpful staff I have ever had the pleasure of dealing with. I am very grateful to my daughter and son for recommending them to me. Thank you to all the folks at the Salisbury location for your hard work and dedication to your jobs for making my banking one less stressful part of my life.

BBnT in Mt. Gilead is my home branch but tellers in Rockingham noticed an abnormal pattern of cheques being cashed at their location. To shut down the fraudulent actions, I had to get to the closest location, Salisbury, because time was of the essence. It was Friday at 5 on when I started the long process of closing my account and setting up a new one. I was angry and flustered, and a bit emotional as I considered the ordeal ahead of me. Julian Gunther, the relationship specialist, greeted me with empathy and a professional “can-do” action list. Despite the time, taking until well after closing time, she helped me close the account, file fraud complaints at the bank, set up a new account, transferred money and all the myriad details such an endeavor entails. Throughout, she chatted with me and like an old loyal customer, not some random client from another town. When I left, my emotional state was vastly improved. I knew my finances were being taken care of, and she even managed to get me laughing. Kudos to Ms. Gunther and the rest of the outstanding staff.

Even thought they are short staffed they are always professional and polite.

The atm didn't allow withdrawals for any of the three people we had with us. If I could give ZERO stars I would.

I have been trying to move my Safety Deposit box from Suntrust to this branch for last 3 weeks. Told I have to have an appointment but none are ever available. Looking at F&M.

I went in today to get some Checks for my mother's estate account. I inherited her checking and savings account when she passed in Jan. I ask for 6 checks and the manager said I would have to get them from the teller because she had to go somewhere. The tellers were very busy and ask her if she would do it and she said she didn't know how. She left and the teller stopped what she was doing and cut me the checks. She said she had to print 8 because they came in packs of four. I told her fine and that the manager seemed to be in a hurry. She said yes she had to go to lunch. When she handed me the checks she handed me a debit slip for $8.00. I signed it and did not say anything. Since my mother's life savings was in that account I didn't move it. Other BB&T branches have just given me the checks for free since my mom had banked there for years. I know this bank today did not know me but they looked up the account and saw the totals and that she had been a long time customer. I know the bank must have rules about these things and the tellers could not help it. It just makes me start to wonder if maybe BB and T doesn't really appreciate my business or want my business. Another bank may be more friendly and accommodating.

Joann was absolutely wonderful. She was patient and helpful at the end of the day. It was so appreciated. Huge A++++ for customer service! Thank you!
