I've been a client of BB&T Bank for many years now and I haven't had any issues with them at all. On the contrary, their tellers have always been professional and polite, including bank officer Ms. Pat Hulsey, who has helped me very efficiently whenever I've need assistance with my bank account. I'm grateful to be one of their customers, which I'll continue to be... :-)

I'm going to start by saying bb&t is by far the worst bank I ever dealt with. I opened a bright from the start checking account in October of this year 2018 to receive direct deposit from my current job. When i received my second pay check they took half my paycheck saying my overdraft fee was 216 which wasn't true. My paychecks dont be that much.desputed some of the charges and got it back but this happened again and again and I just got tired of it. They then blocked my account because of a wire transfer that came in my fiance name and he wasn't a authorized user on my account. That was an honest mistake and they tired holding my money even after the check got sent to the right account. All I know is I'm very disappointed in this bank. But Susanne was awesome and Anne was the best. I won't be banking no longer with bb&t.

My account balance was positive on the start of 07/16/2019 in the amount of $60.63. 2 charges posted, one for $6.86 and one for $14.99 then 2 overdraft fees of $36 each, causing my account to go into the negative and close the day out as a posted amount of -$33.22. I used my card following their available balance that they provide me with. I made 5 charges total with the final charge ultimately overdrawing my account. They stacked the charges in a way to make sure they maximized my overdraft fees. I asked them to explain and they stated that i am charged based off the date that the charges post and they have no control over that but then how do you explain that the charge that overdrew my account was posted on the 18th but i received 2 overdraft fees on the 17th. The banker in the branch told me they do this so they can get as many overdraft fees as possible. Doesn't matter what is posted or what is pending. If your account goes negative they will give you an overdraft fee for any item weather or not you were negative at the time of those purchases.

I love this bank. The staff is very courteous . I don't have enough words to explain how wonderful Pat is. Over the years, Pat has ALWAYS answered my messages, tried her best to help me, is always welcoming and very very patient. This bank and its staff are a blessing.

The branch is closed for service and you can only go to the drive through. I was the only drive through customer and I had to wait 15 minutes to make a deposit. Instead of coming back to me and telling me what us going on she took all that time then told me she was new on the job.

All i needed to do was deposit a check and get a new bank card because mine was damaged. I was at the bank for over a hour and a half for this simple task. The bank teller didnt know what she was doing and the banker ignored us for 20 mins. On a positive note the Banker/Teller Anne helped me and was courteous as soon as she arrived. I will only use her going forward.

Awful bank. Their ATM continues to take people's money and they could care less. Almost $1,000 was "retained" by their machine leaving me in an awful situation. Everyone that I've ever dealt with at this location has been nothing but rude. How hard is it to be kind? Stay away.

Terrible bank. After closing our commercial account it was drawn upon weeks after it was closed and the bank is trying to charge us fees. The account was closed. Why would you even access it? The bank manager said he was waive the fees. Then a collection letter came. I called the bank and they said they would resolve it and then another collection letter came. So again I called and was told it would be resolved. Now, almost 2 years later I have another collection letter in hand.

The peachtree parkway branch has the best bank employees ever- Estrella and Jillian (not sure if i spelled that right). Always recognize me and are always nice. I asked Estrella about mobile deposit and she went above and beyond to give me the info. I love tgat it feels like a small town bank and not a corporate giant that can't take the time to help you.
