I am an educated middle class single female. I worked for a major oil company which a Trilogy advisor came to our office. At that time it seemed oil company endorsed this Trilogy advisor who had inside access that other advisors did not. I invested my mothers WILL money along with my pension. The advisor, David Huisinga, took money from the pension account to pay my mothers WILL required distribution!! A major SCREW UP for me. I had to convince him he was mistaken and he did nothing but argue! Then of course I had to review ALL my investments to double check his work. When he realized I was right he had me hand carry the distribution check to the proper accounts! I ended up paying taxes on that mistake. Another investment in RIETS turned out I cannot transfer the money. This was no where in writing and I verified this with Fidelity and TDAmeritrade. Also I reiterated several times to not invest in mutual funds. And guess what? I come to find my money was in mutual funds!! A lot of oil workers invested with this guy because the company allowed him to appear to be endorsed by the oil industry. We saw what happened at PG&E Yikes... DO NOT PUT YOUR MONEY HERE.. YOU WILL NOT HAVE ANY LEFT!
