Thanks to several friends recommendations, we have been taking our 2004 Pilot and 2013 Fit to Triangle for maintenance/repairs. We loved our other mechanics before and were leery of changing, but Traingle's convenient (Monday-Saturday) hours, loaner cars and amazing service team make it helpful to get our vehicles serviced. Their team is honest, provides thorough communication and wants you to be satisfied. Their mechanics go through things thoroughly and they never pressure you for services. They'll advise you of what needs to be done urgently, soon, future, etc. Our 04 Pilot recently had too many issues to repair thanks to a hungry mouse family, so we opted to purchase a "new to us" used 2011 Pilot from their sales lot. Knowing they had gone through the vehicle thoroughly and only put out reputable vehicles, we had the peace of mind knowing that we were purchasing a reliable and affrordable vehicle. Jimmy their sales associate was very kind and helpful, as we navigated the different components of finalizing the transactions. We highly recommend Triangle to others!

I never chose to bring my vehicle anywhere else. Triangle can be trusted to do the repairs necessary with a fair price. They always go above and beyond to explain optional v. Necessary work. They go the extra mile to take care of their customers.

Each time we take our vehicles to Triangle, we are pleasantly surprised. This place is fantastic and has helped us on numerous occasions.

This was my daughter's first car buying experience and after a few false starts she found a car that she really liked and felt comfortable with. Jimmy was exceedingly helpful, both in the selection of the car and in helping her navigate the financing of the balance left to pay. We will get her car taken care of and I am sure that this family will be back for more.

Excellent service, very economical prices, professional and well-mannered staff! I drove their rental cars for 4 years (2016 - 2020) and never had any problem. They charge fairly. They service the car on time and provide help in emergency situations, for example, one day the car wouldn't start (battery was dead) and they sent a technician to my home for help. Once the car had broken down in winter storm, I had to leave it by the roadside. I informed them and they hauled the car back to the city the very next morning. Well, I used their services for 4 years! Do I need to say more? Why would I use their cars for 4 years if I wasn't happy with their service! :). I plan to continue using their services in the future as well. This time I will take my car for routine service and maintenance because I know they offer services at a reasonable price. I was looking for a repair shop that specializes in Honda’s. I had an issue with a check engine light and some type of fluid leak. A friend recommended Triangle Motors. (They’ve used them for years) Easily requested an appointment online; was contacted the next day by Tina with an appointment time. Rachel was great in communications with myself and the mechanic on my repair issues. She even offered the use of a loaner car while they kept my car overnight to ensure the repairs. So far the repairs are spot on and I will make a decision on an additional repair that was recommended. Superb customer service! Great follow up. Would highly recommend.

I've been a loyal customer for 12 years. Management and personnel are very helpful, courteous and respectful. Major repairs have not recurred to date and routine maintenance are quite affordable. All work was done in a most timely manner. Should my vehicle make its final journey, I will definitely purchase another Honda to continue receiving exceptional service. On Tuesday - July 20, 2021 my car broke down on the interstate. I was traveling with my son, daughter and dog. I was traveling from Pocono — Pennsylvania back home to Central Florida. I called numerous mechanic shops but no one could help me. They were all backed up until the following week, due to Covid. Finally - after speaking with Triangle Motors, they offered to try and help me. They too were backed up and had people ahead of me but compassionate to my situation, said they would see what they could do. Tina the manager, along with her staff of kind, caring and knowledgeable mechanics repaired my car within an hour. My biggest fear was getting stuck Maryland, incurring the unplanned expenses of a hotel and being taken advantage of. Triangle Motors was so compassionate to my predicament. They refrigerated my medicine, offered me a cool place to wait with my dog and did an excellent job on my car at an affordable price. I am so grateful to Tina and the outstanding mechanics at Triangle Motors. If you are in Frederick Maryland and are in need of honest and knowledgeable mechanics, I urge you to take your car to Triangle Motors a 5 star mechanic shop. They also sell and rent vehicles. Triangle Motors is the only place to go for buying a car or car service. They are so friendly and understanding when it comes to the customer's needs. I have been recommending them for over a year now after we bought a used Honda CR-V and after having to get service from them today, I am going to recommend them even more. John and T were outstanding and so understanding for our needs. In an industry where Customer Service should be the most important aspect, both John and T are great examples for every other car dealership. Triangle motors came highly recommended and I am really glad I listened and came to this location for a car rental. I called and spoke to Jimmy he was very helpful with explaining everything and we set a time for me to come in to pick the rental up. As soon as I walked in I was greeted by your staff and they started to assist me right away. Jimmy was there and processed the paperwork quickly and was very friendly and helpful. Clutch went in my 07 Honda, they were able to get me right in and take care of the issue. They also advised me of a few other repairs that are needed, with no pressure to take care of these issues immediately. Very pleased with there customer service and would highly recommend there business to anyone. I will most definitely being going back to them for the remaining issues with my vehicle!

As a car buyer in the market for a Honda vehicle, I knew right from the moment I walked into Triangle Motors this was the first and last place I would have to look for a new vehicle. It was around 10/11AM on a Tuesday, right in the middle of a big rain storm. Tip: this gives you a lot of leverage as a buyer. Beginning negotiations in these conditions also tells you quite a bit about the type of business you're choosing to spend your money with. I met Jimmy at the sales counter, informed him I was interested in either a CR-V, an Odyssey or "maybe even something else." He looked at me, he looked outside, he looked at me again and said "Okay well before we go out there all you gotta do is pick." Great, ball in my court. Let's get a van today! Jimmy busts out his inventory list! I give him a couple bullet points as a baseline. "X is what I have to put down, this is what I'm looking to spend total, and these are a few silly demands I can move up or down on in a vehicle." Apparently they don't build the Honda Odysseys with stowaway beds but that's not Jimmy's fault. We start looking and find a couple van's in my price range! Next thing you know he's got one in the color and mileage that I want! Then he says "Let's grab a raincoat and take a look!" Woah. Dude's not just sending me out to get wet and soggy, he's leading me on an adventure now that we've answered questions I didn't even know I had. It seemed like Jimmy knew he had what I wanted before I could even dream it. And then there we were standing next to a van in the rain with the doors wide open both realizing we could be talking within the comforting confines of this fine 2006 Honda Odyssey EX-L we were negotiating over. Not our finest moment but certainly speaks volumes about the lengths Triangle Motors goes to provide top notch service. There was a wonderfully pleasant negotiation period where all sides (First United Bank, whom Triangle works with for financing, Triangle Motors, and myself) were able to come together to find a favorable outcome for everyone involved. I closed my deal at Triangle Motors with Jon a few days later after hearing from First United Bank and am happy to say I'm a customer of both businesses. Triangle Motors has gone on to do a phenomenal job honoring their work and warranties, so much so that my family has decided to make Triangle Motors our destination for all future work on our 2009 Civic still running strong at over 200K miles. I'd like to give a big thank you to Jimmy, Jon, Tom, Tina, Rachel and all the other wonderful folks I've yet to meet at Triangle Motors and ask that you give them your current and future Honda & Acura family business.

I took my friend there on a recommendation because she needed a rental that she could afford as a single working mother. Jimmy was the man that we met with and to say he was amazing is an understatement. After hearing about what was going on he waived the deposit and only charged her the weekly rental fee. He was courteous, understanding and was above all very helpful. I would highly recommend anyone needing to rent a car while in or around Frederick MD to please consider Triangle Motors for their car rental needs. I had issues with the battery in my Chevy malibu. I called over to Tina and they got me in within 30 minutes. Tina kept me well-informed throughout the whole process, made sure nothing else was wrong with my car, and even fit in an oil change to have me out of there within about an hour. They were professional and knowledgeable and the car works great! Highly recommend.

I cannot recommend Triangle Motors enough. Their staff is professional and friendly. The cost is always reasonable, and the work is top notch. I do not service my Honda anywhere else. Jimmy made the otherwise daunting task of trading in our cars and buying a new one very painless. We truly felt like we were treated like family.

I won't bring my Honda anywhere else. They make my 2005 Civic feel like new every visit. I travel from Rockville each time, and it's absolutely worth it. They fully explain any issues, find you the most economical solution, give you a rental if needed (cheap or sometimes free depending on the work), and pre-covid would make you a comfortable remote office to work for the day. Highly recommend. Many of my friends also bring their Hondas here and recommended them to me.

I have been having my vehicles serviced at Triangle motors for over 20 years. It is very important to me to have an auto repair shop I can trust. I have complete trust in Triangle, they never try to upsell. I don't purchase a vehicle unless I know Triangle will service it. I fully recommend them as the best auto repair business in the wahington metropolitan area.

Tina and Rachel in the service department were incredible. Due to my own lack of planning, I came in with no brakes or rotors and they were able to get my vehicle fixed up right away. They were both so kind, considerate and knowledgeable about their services and made me feel confident in spending my money at Triangle Motors. I could not find a better price In town for quality for the quality work their team out in. When I had questions about the service weeks later Tina and Rachel were again immediately helpful and encouraged me to bring my vehicle in just so they could look it over. Thank you again!

Triangle motors is a reliable and decent place to take your car. The people are always curtious and explain things very well. I trust them completely.

2022 UPDATE (two years from the original review): My car is now 9 years old and has 205,000 miles on it, and it’s never given me a problem. Ever. And it’s still going strong! Triangle Motors is the best! Original review: I've had several service appointments at Triangle for my high-mileage car, and I've been very happy with the work and customer service. I don't feel their mechanics have ever recommended any excessive or unnecessary extras, and customer service has always been patient when I've asked to think about something and call them back. Definitely considering buying my next car here!

Triangle Motors are excellent. They are fair, and never talk you into work that is not needed. They always do a great job and my car is always well taken care of for a very reasonable price. I am always a happy customer and have been going to them for many years now. They have taken care of 2 of my Honda vehicles now. They get 5 stars from me !

Triangle is the best. My husband and I have taken our cars to them for years. They are honest (never any scare tactics or pressure, which we really appreciate, having experienced that elsewhere), do great work at affordable prices, and are some of the nicest people we've ever dealt with. We can't recommend them enough.

Can’t say enough good things about Triangle Auto! Bought a car that needed lotsa love to pass inspection. Tina and Rachel were happy to communicate on the progress…got a free loaner while they had the car…and she runs great! Hard to beat the personal service and working with a company that cares about its community!

We took our 2003 Honda Accord into the shop to have the air conditioning checked out. I received a phone call promptly the same day from Tina. Tina informed me that the fan needed to be replaced and the system will need to be recharged. We also had an oil change performed as well. We were informed that the total cost would be approx. $750. We picked the car up the same day and paid the invoice for work. We brought the car home and the air conditioning is still only working intermittently. I absolutely hate dealing with car issues but triangle motors made it beyond easy. I was having issues starting my car dropped it off and within two hours they gave me a diagnostic as well as options. They also let me use a rental and change my oil without me asking. Overall great service easy to talk to and would highly recommend!

All the staff was very professional and friendly. They called me to go over repair and price before doing anything. I was told they would get the pet needed on a Monday (I dropped off the car Friday morning) and I was surprised to get a call sat afternoon telling me my car was done. They gave me a free rental while they had my car in the shop. Any question I had they answered. I would definitely tell everyone I know to go to them for work. They get 5 stars from me.

Called Triangle for a rental while my car was in the shop. When a 2 day repair turned in to a 7 day repair because of a defective part, Triangle was super understanding and extended the rental for me without any hassle. Excellent customer service! The car rental value is outstanding and their rental process is simple and straightforward.

I was in dire need of a car rental because my vehicle was in the shop. On my friends recommendation we went to Triangle Motors and spoke to Jimmy who was at the rental desk when we arrived. When I explained my situation he was so helpful and willing to help that he waived the security deposit and only charged me for the weekly rental price. I ended up having to rent the vehicle for 3 weeks. He was very understanding of what I needed and was continually going out of his way to help me. I will forever recommend Triangle Motors and Jimmy to anyone that needs to rent a vehicle while in or around the Frederick Md area. He was the absolute best while I was going through a worse case scenario just before Christmas. Please ask for Jimmy when you stop in. I can guarantee that you wont get anything but the absolute best service.

I drive an older model, manual, Subaru, and take my car to triangle for oil changes because they are open on weekends and my Subaru specialist isn't. On more than one occasion I've found their feedback alarmist to say the least. For example, this past weekend they changed my oil and sounded the alarm about my vehicle. The gal who called told my transmission is bad and my radiator is leaking coolant, but the mechanic "wouldn't touch it for fear of damaging the radiator." Their written report included scary things like "transmission very noisy--likely bad," along with other comments about my radiator leaking coolant, a "quick leak" in a rear strut, and a need for rear brakes and 4 tires. The prices associated with each of these services was really high, too. As you might imagine, such a report evoked panic from me. I was thinking I needed a new car. No point replacing a transmission on a 12 year old car. Good thing I made an appointment with my Subaru specialist, instead of taking their word for it.... My Subaru guy disagreed with most of what Triangle's report said. My transmission is not "noisy," or "likely bad." In fact, it is functioning normally, and the "noises" are consistent with a late model, manual transmission, with high mileage. Usually, changing the fluids and adding a conditioner takes care of this, and if it doesn't, the noises are nowhere near loud enough for him to conclude it is bad and needs replacing. We've been watching the rear strut for some time, and it is seeping, not "quick leaking," as it has been, and it is no worse than it was the last time Triangle erroneously noted this on one of their reports. There's also nothing wrong with my radiator. Although there's evidence of a PREVIOUS leak, there is no CURRENT coolant leak, or swollen hoses, or danger related to my radiator or coolant. They tightened the clamps on the hoses anyway. Just to be sure. Interestingly, despite the "thorough inspection" Triangle brags about, they missed a burned out headlight and warped front rotars, which means I ALSO need front brakes, and they missed the power steering fluid which badly needed changing. I do need 4 tires though. They got that one totally right. In summary, they're a cost effective option for an oil change on the weekend. After that, question everything.

I have rented a car from Triangle a couple of times. The rental agents I dealt with are Jimmy Lee and Tom Harrigan. Everything about the experience was top notch. The cars worked perfectly and were clean. Prices were very reasonable. I kind of felt like I'd stepped back in time to when I was a kid and people at local businesses were helpful and kind. They treat customers like they are friends or neighbors. The people at Triangle Motors rentals take the time to listen to you and make sure things go your way. I highly recommend them!
