Just wanna say thank you to Matt & his team. Matt H is amazing and very sweet, super honest & transparent with his sales. The process was very smooth and buying my first car was really scary, signing all the papers were easy & Dan from finance was nice! Explained a lot to me regarding warranties. Matt H; thank you so much for being so sweet with my mom and I, answering all the questions I had regarding the car. Matt H is my favorite sales associate and he even came on his day off to secure this deal with me. He went above and beyond for my family and I regarding this car. The process went as so: going in to look for this car, meeting us in the front, walking us in to look at cars, to going into room to talk about logistics, car, family, etc. I had to put a down $1000 payment for the car, and the minute the car arrived, he called me informing me it’s there. Matt was my alarm clock in the morning, not gonna miss that, haha. We went in to get the car and finalize everything. Great hospitality, great personality, very professional. The Service Department is fantastic. My family takes all of our vehicles there for everything service related. My son just bought his first car there and a big reason was due to our confidence in the service department. Steve and Cheri treat us with respect. Things are done correctly and are ready when we are told that they will be ready.

Car was as listed online. I met Matt S as I walked through the dealership door and we worked with him and test drove the suv. We are happy with how it drove. We worked with Matt and general manager Adam M to work out the details of the sale they both took real good care of us, and were straight forward. Excited to be in a new to us, used car.

I contacted these guys about a used vehicle and spoke to a salesman. He told me he would send me the info I asked for in 15 minutes. I never heard back from him. After calling back and being transferred 3 different times I gave up and decided to call back today. I got a sales girl on the line and asked for the same information. She actually sent it. I asked for a credit app so I could move forward with the purchase since I live out of town. Never heard back from her and messaged her several times to follow up. I ended up calling and spoke with the used car manager. He instructed me to fill out the online app and he would handle it and that the girl was "new". I was in this business for 12 years myself and it doesn't matter how new someone is...a reply isn't about having experience. 5 hours later and I still have no reply from the manager. I'll take my business elsewhere.

I observed the BEST buying experience with my daughters newly purchased 2022 Venza from Toyota of Bourbonnais. I never left a review when I originally bought my brand new 2016 RAV4, which was obviously years ago BUT even that long ago I STILL remember my sales associate by name, Janelle and the experience and how I felt the day I bought it!!! Like any shopper, I was in the market way back when and went to every local dealership looking for a small SUV. I was willing to spend more at each dealership based on what I was getting. After a week of comparing and evaluating... it all came down to the service and experience I had with Janelle that made me buy from David Bruce Toyota!!! She went above and beyond for me and showed me all kinds of features on the car, we took the car for a test drive and she showed me the Sport mode and wanted me to get on it! NO OTHER LOCAL DEALERSHIP DID THIS!!! Some didn’t even give me the time of day. GMC, the most expensive, said yeah you can go test drive it- go for it and I went by myself, there was no salesmanship. Janelle knew we were moving to NY so she even got me a AWD!!! Everything I wanted I got!!! To this day, years later I can remember everything about this experience!!! And coming in to get my first brand new vehicle and it having the shiny red bow on it!!! The icing on the cake! So grateful and thankful for this experience!!! I’m a loyal Toyota customer for life! My husband and I just bought our second pre-owned vehicle from Toyota of Bourbounnais and we had fun doing it! Our salesman Erik was really knowlegeable and introduced us to his manager Adam (he's a real comedian), he made being badgered into buying a car fun. We really did enjoy it, they even bought us a pizza! Dan, the finance manager ALMOST made spending all our money painless, and poor Keith stood out in the bitter cold a long time, showing us how to use all the gadgets in our Toyota Avalon Hybrid.This was the best and most fun car buying experience I've ever had. Very smooth purchase - I enjoyed interacting with Matt Hadley to buy our new Tacoma. He was very friendly and easy to work with. When an issue did arise when we were close to closing, he went to his manager and worked out a solution quickly and completely to my satisfaction. I really felt like Matt was "my agent", rather than an "agent" of the dealership. I would highly recommend him for any future purchases.

I love the no nonsense approach here. Tell them what you want and they will make it happen. The buying process is relaxed and comfortable. Got a flyer in the mail that said Toyota of Bourbonnais would like to buy my vehicle. Took my car over to have it appraised. Very easy process. Talked with McKayla and she started the process. She asked if I was also looking to buy a car, and told her I was depending on what the appraisal came to. They kept asking if I don’t find a car, would I still be willing to still sell them my car. I said of course. There was no pressure at all to buy a new car, or sell mine. The car was appraised, and I was very happy with the numbers. We had a deal. The whole processes took about an hour to sell my car. I would not hesitate to work with them in the future.

Matt was my sales rep and he was simply great to work with! He understood my needs and the reason for my trade in. Not only did he work hard, he got his managers to work hard and give me the best trade in deal possible. Would definitely buy with him again!

I tried to purchase a new car from them. I was forced to agree to paint and fabric protection in order to go forward with the purchase. I pointed out how that is a high mark-up low value item that I didn't want. Their justification for it was that unlike other dealers that were just marking up the cars over MSRP they were at least giving the customer something for the money. I complained to Toyota about it and the dealership retaliated against me by refusing to do business with me and insisting I come get my deposit back. They also stopped responding to my emails and when I called asking for them to just mail it back to me they never called me back. I was forced to go back to get my deposit. This is the wrong time to buy a car, but at some point the market will again turn back towards the buyers favor. Even when it does and if I find myself in the market for a Toyota I won't return to that dealer again based on how their reaction to my complaint to Toyota. If you do buy a car from them make sure to ding them on the survey maybe if Toyota gets enough complaints they will put a stop to this practice of forcing unwanted/unneeded services on buyers. I ended up buying a much nicer car at another dealer.

Very unprofessional. READ THE FINE PRINT before buying a car, you will get screwed very quickly. I called today to speak to a manger but the guy I spoke with didn’t seem to care to listen to anything I had to say. He told me, he would call me back but never did. Seems like a thing they are known for, look at the other bad reviews. I just hope nobody ends up in my situation. Buying a car can be exciting but do yourself and go somewhere else, the people at Toyota don’t care about their costumers.

Walked in looking to buy a 2022 Toyota outright with cash, or order the specific model I was looking for! Was refused a sale and the chance to order a vehicle because I did not complete a custom satisfaction survey and they " Missed out " on their performance bonus, This Salesperson, Janelle also takes a majority of the sales and customers from her co workers, and people openly give up their orders and chance to earn commission to her, Seems to be a really toxic and unethical work environment to which Toyota corporate has agree'd! If you guys find yourself at Toyota of Bourbonnais, try to spread some of the earnings and income around evenly among the several employee's there who deserve your time!

bought a new Venza today, got about as good as a deal as one could expect considering the inventory shortage. Staff was friendly and hard working. took it here for service today 5/27/22 service advisor kept me updated on service. It was also pretty fast
