It was a nightmare working with Stephanie Borte as our Mortgage Loan Processor. She asked us to submit the same documents multiple times. Zero compassion for us and our transition to Virginia. Made us jump through hoops and in the very end once our home closed. Towne Mortgage sold our mortgage to a horrible mortgage company - PennyMac. We originally choose to stay local and if we knew this was going to happen we would have save ourselves a headache and pick someone else.

John Hamilton and his team are amazing! What a great experience for my first home buy! They were all on top of my credit scores, lowering my interest rate, and getting everything in line for my home purchase. I really enjoyed working with him and his team. Less stress is what's best, especially for military families, and this is the guy for the job! Thanks John!

So, disappointed! We chose Towne Mortgage when purchasing our new home because they were HIGHLY recommended to us. The actual purchase process with them was very good. We were very pleased with everything along the way... until closing day. We learned while sitting at the table at our closing appointment that our loan was going to be sold to another lender. Not only was it sold to another lender but, it was sold to a TERRIBLE, HORRIBLE lender! We had chosen Towne Mortgage only to be sold to this other company. It was completely out of our control and we felt very betrayed that we were never notified or made aware that our loan would be sold. We would have chosen another lender altogether had they made us aware.

I had the pleasure of having Nick work with me and my husband; and he was absolutely phenomenal! He was truly amazing throughout the entirety of my first-time home buying experience. Not only was the communication process flawless, but Nick understood exactly that I was very new to this whole process. He ensured that every little detail was explained at a level that I can understand. All my questions and concerns were addressed immediately, and he was always meticulous on following-up with me regarding anything and everything I inquired about. I was never treated like just another number--but rather as a friend, and a valued client. I wish many others would have the opportunity to work with Nick, and share the experience that my husband and I had. Nick is a great Loan Officer--and even a better person. He is amazing at his job, and he truly works for your best benefit. A 5-star doesn't even cover how pleased I am with his work.
