I want to take a minute to brag on Towne Hyundai, specifically Joe Ippolito and his assistants Janel and Beatriz! For the first time, I was car shopping solo and I was anxious. I did my research but car buying, especially in this market, is foreign to me. I was referred to Joe Ippolito at Towne Hyundai by a friend. When I called to make an appointment with Joe, Beatriz was friendly and helpful. She was especially accommodating on the day of my appointment when I needed to reschedule the time. I appreciated the flexibility! Aside from being friendly and courteous, Joe was respectful and knowledgeable. He was patient and listened as I explained my circumstances, concerns, needs and wants. He answered all of my questions with transparency and quickly was able to find me the car I needed with the features I wanted for a price that was reasonable and I could afford. Initially nervous to be car shopping by myself, all of my fears were eased because Joe made me feel like he was there, not as a salesman for the dealership, but as a trusted friend helping me buy a car! Joe's assistant Janel was amazing! She quickly and effectively walked me through the entire process and sat with me for as long as I needed to become familiar and comfortable with all of the features of my new car. I was in and out in a few hours, with exactly what I wanted! It was a wonderful experience and I am extremely grateful to Joe, Janel, Beatriz and the entire Towne Hyundai team! Isn't she beautiful?!

My experience with Towne Hyundai was absolutely top notch. Visiting a dealership is an incredibly stressful thing to do; however the staff at Towne made the experience painless and easy. My sales rep Peter Ibrahim went above and beyond with the service he performed. Peter is the most transparent, trustworthy, and knowledgeable salesman I have ever worked with. There’s absolutely no bs when working with Peter, he tells it like it is and he made the buying process as painless as he possibly could. Steven Sanabria was simply amazing. My wife and I made an appointment to look at the Hyundai palisade calligraphy edition when we got there we met Stephen he was so kind to my sons and me and my wife and made us feel completely at ease. Our palisade did not have roof racks , Steve and his manager Jeff totally took care of us ! We will use them often! I highly recommend Towne Hyundai!!!

Professional, Patient, Communicative & Friendly. Just some of the words I’d use to describe my experience with Peter I. from Towne Hyundai. My family recently bought a new 2022 Tuscon Plug In Hybrid and had the best experience by far at this dealership. From the start, Peter was a professional with his communication, he responded quickly to all emails and follow up requests and simply made the purchase of the Tuscon an absolute breeze. This is the best car purchase experience I've ever had. Great prices and in fact there wasn't any price gouging during the chip shortage. I was in and out in a super reasonable amount of time, and Joe and his entire support staff were all fantastic to work with. Let me preface this by saying that I rarely post reviews, but I was motivated to for this one because of the exemplary service I received. I had an appointment for routine maintenance on our car, and since I didn't make the appointment I was not made aware of the time to expect (my fault). When I arrived I was told it would take around an hour and a half to complete the service, which would not have worked for me due to a prior commitment. As I was in the process of rescheduling, the gentleman there came back and told me he'd make it work somehow and get me out of there in 45 minutes to accommodate my schedule, which he totally didn't have to do. True to his word, 45 minutes later my car was ready to go. All the staff were friendly and knowledgeable. This was probably the best experience I've ever had at a car dealer, and I've had my fair share. Despite how busy it is, these folks run a great business. Highly recommend!

I just purchased a Hyundai tucson from Towne. I worked with the salesman Vito. He was incredibly helpful and assisted us with the entire process. Very straightforward and trustworthy guy. Answered all of our questions and even gave me his cell so I could reach out at anytime if i had more. No hidden Dealer fees or anything like that. Highly recommend going to Towne and especially Vito.

Buying a car is on the top of the list of things I dislike doing as well as writing reviews. But let me tell you the exceptional experience my wife and I just had at this dealership was worth writing a view. We didn't have an appointment but my wife knew the specific Sante Fe she wanted. We pulled up and we were greeted at the door by a young man by the name of Adam. He was so nice and professional and not pushy at all. He was relaxed and he moved at our pace. He was upfront and honest. There wasn't a lot of weird fees that dealers typically try to scam you with. Adam mentioned the owner is ver big on customer service and the experience showed. Adam's personality and style was very comforting. You felt you were getting the best and honest price. We decided to buy the car right away. Then I was dreading talking to the finance department but even that it was quick and painless process. I had the best experience buying a car EVER. It was worth buying a Hyundai just dealing with Adam. Thank you Adam and Towne Hyundai!

I went with my Mother to assist in the lease of a new Tucson for her. Our salesperson was Claudio Rodrigues. I must say that it was the most pleasant car shopping experience I’ve ever been a part of. Claudio was a wonderful salesperson. We wanted to do business with him based off his personality and character. We were treated professionally, fairly, and walked away feeling like we were heard and respected and got what we wanted at a fair price. Highly recommend both Towne Hyundai and Claudio as a salesperson. My 81 year old Mother was excited and had a big smile on her face and for that I’m grateful.

UPDATE: I promptly received a call from Ernie at the dealership and he assured me a ride home or a space to work from. I was very happy to see how quickly the resolved the issue. I'm so disappointed in this dealer. I have to drop off my car for a RECALL and have to wait in the SHOWROOM for 1 to 2 hours. The shuttle is not guaranteed so that doesn't help! No loaners! Told me they could drop me off but picking me back up would be iffy. I'd gladly wait if I could work from there but again no separate space for service customers. I paid over 51k and this is the "service" I get!!! Terrible! Oh and I had to learn about the recall on the app!! No phone call, no email, no nothing from the dealer

Hyundai Recall alerted me that there were two outstanding recall issues with my Tuscan. Towne Hyundai was able to take care of the service, at no charge, with professionalism from the shuttle driver, Roc, to the service advisor, Ubaldo. I did not get the name of the person who delivered my vehicle when the service was complete, but he was also friendly. The service department has a clean, comfortable environment with accommodations to make any wait enjoyable.

Can't say enough about the customer service provided by Amanda, my service advisor. Also, the tech, Sean was awesome also. I had a complex problem with my car that kept it in the shop for 3 months. Amanda kept me in the loop as soon she received any updates. Sean was awesome in troubleshooting the problem with my car and installed the new engine in less than a day. Amanda made this awful experience bearable for me. She was kind even when I was frustrated and impatient. I am so thankful for her help!!

I just bought an Ioniq 5 at Towne. I phoned a dozen dealerships, all of whom were charging way over MSRP. Not only did Towne have the best price, but my salesperson Beatriz Chavez was wonderful to work with. She was very responsive, enthusiastic and really straight forward about everything! I drove 100 miles to get my car from Towne, because I trusted Bee. I would highly recommend her to anyone looking for a Hyundai. In fact I did, and my friends drove 100 miles to get their Ioniq from her too!

When you’ve gotten a car from elsewhere they will still call you. Even when you opt out of everything and unsubscribe they will STILL CALL YOU. I’ve blocked their numbers and they find new numbers to call me from. Don’t give them any private information if you don’t plan to buy from there- they will stalk you. EDIT: I see that they responded and said I have a similar review from another place. Yes I do, they have done the exact same thing to me. It's funny that they say they have to be TOLD what to do- isn't unsubscribing from emails and texts telling you I don't want to be contacted anymore? I shouldn't have to call your manager to ask to be removed from a list. A physical person is calling me from your location. I have told them once before that I wasn't interested yet I still get phone calls, texts and emails. Just stop.

Bought a car from them because they had the model and color I wanted. And market adjustment wasn't too bad I was okay with the price. But other than that everything else seemed like it needed a little bit of improvement i.e.Things were unorganized, they have no computers, everyone was running around and rushing everything, they send different people to fill out paperwork without communicating with each other, all paperwork was done on paper and not digitally, only had 2-3 computers for the whole dealership. I can tell you I went and sat in a couple hyundais this week before coming here and this one seemed to be less efficient, less complementary and most importantly disorganized than others. But then again I went on a saturday two hours before closing and wanted to leave in the car. And I do appreciate them for making that happen. I was annoyed they didn't give me the college grad incentive. They explained that if you get the Hyundai special of 48 month 0 apr financing then you don't qualify to get this incentive. This is contrary to what hyundaiusa and other hyundai dealerships say. And they had very sketchy rules when it came to down payment, since I didn't have cash on me they wanted everything split in between check, credit and debit instead of just taking one source of payment.

Towne was the only Hyundai dealer I found in New Jersey who were honest and didn't add any gimmicks to our purchase of as new IONIQ 5. Bravo to them. All the others either jagged up the office or added expensive add-ons at the last minute.

The facility was clean and comfortable to wait in. I used to use another dealership for her car services but they could never fit me into the schedule for two or three weeks and i don't plan that far ahead. Buyers beware! I bought a certified pre-owned Elantra during the last week of July and was very happy until I brought it in for my first service appointment. I was informed that after 5 months and less than 10k miles, I needed new brakes and rotors immediately. When I questioned why they needed to be replaced so soon, I was told that the pads were at the lowest possible threshold allowed when the car was certified. I was then told that I didn't need brakes and rotors right away. Somebody is obviously full of it. Either they sold me a car with brakes that were on their way out or they were trying to milk me for $. Regardless, I'll be taking my business elsewhere in the future!

I would give this dealership zero stars if possible. I have hated every dealing with them from them trying to over charge me for repairs done to make the car I purchased a "certified preowned" car to hiding random insurance fees in the stack of paperwork I had to sign even though I specifically declined these and the salesperson I was working with called them "useless". By far the worst experience is my current dealings with regard to the recall on my engine. I had to wait over a month for my car to be looked at and they did nothing but order the new engine the day of my appointment. Now I'm looking at at least a month for the engine to come in and a few weeks for the repairs to be made. I keep hearing about a list that I am supposedly on to get a loaner car but when pressing the dealership since I have been waiting for six weeks their only response is "well some people have been waiting three months". What kind of customer service is that?! They have no regard for the hardship this puts on someone and have an attitude like its not their problem. My best advice would be to avoid Hyundai like the plague.

I went with my Mom last week to Towne Hyundai. She was looking to trade in her 2012 Vera Cruz for something newer. It was an emotional experience, as my Dad had passed away last August and this car was one of his babies...he took wonderful care of all his cars and always hated trading them in. We were greeted and helped immediately by Adam. He told us it was only his second week at Towne Hyundai, but you would never have known. He was extremely professional, knowledgeable and personable. His approach was genuine and we never felt pressured from the minute we sat down. My Mom left with a beautiful new Santa Fe, and the process didn't take very long at all. Towne Hyundai is the best!! I called ahead to find out what premium they charge over MSRP, they didn't play any games with me and were upfront. The premium was reasonable and we were able to schedule a same day visit. Danielle and Sonny were both super helpful. After looking at 5 different dealerships trying to find a car I liked, I finally found my perfect match at Towne Hyundai. All the other dealerships were pressuring me to buy right away because “the car would be gone by tomorrow”, as inventory was so low. They would “check” with their managers to see if they could get more money off on this or that, trying to make it look like they were giving us a special deal. Victor, our salesman at Towne, was not pushy at all. He let us take our time to decide if we wanted the car. I must say that the list prices a Towne seemed lower than other dealerships. Price was reasonable and I found a car I love (2022) Kona without listening to a lot of phony bologna!!!! Also, we wanted to pay for the car without financing (dealers make more money when a customer finances), there was absolutely no pressure from Victor, or anyone else at Towne Hyundai to finance!! One dealer said we couldn’t even buy from them unless we financed! Victor was great. Explained everything to us and was super friendly. We bought our car the same day we test drove it. They had the car ready and in perfect condition when we came to pick it up. I just received notice that they have our permanent plates and registration ready for us to pick up, and it is only 5 days after we picked up the car. Great service! This was the easiest car buying process I’ve ever had! Steve was great to work with. It’s not an easy market to buy a car in right now but the whole process went smoothly. It did take 3.5 months for my car to come in (which wasn’t their fault-just the way things are right now) and Steve kept me updated throughout. I would definitely work with them again in the future!

I recently lost my Hyundai Elantra car key and I’ve been looking around everywhere but most places were expensive and took time to order a replacement key. I called this dealership and the receptionist was really nice and helpful. When I came In I was automatically greeted by the employees and I was directed where I need to go. The service was fast. I was in thee store 5-10 max. Plus I was giving a little key chain so I wound lift my key again, With all that being said. I recommend you to this dealership if your looking for a new car or simply need to get your car serviced.

Joe & Janelle have restored my faith in dealerships! I came in to trade my suv for the new Tucson and the first rep i met gave me a lower amount and payments were crazy. Danielle gave me a call a week later and told me come in we have a great salesmen to work with. Got my first hyundai tuscon 3 years ago I loved it so much and was torn on buying it or releasing. Seeing the new tusons I knew I needed to re lease. Peter was great and was able to get me the car I wanted, the price I wanted in a color I wasn’t sure I wanted but love (I didn’t have my heart set on any color but feel like this grey is stunning!) everyone from Danielle to Peter have been amazing and helpful and not pushy which is what kept me with town hyundai!! So I had an issue with my car not going the appropriate mph, engine issue. I dropped it off Saturday and Amanda (who was at the front desk) was so helpful! She explained in detail what the future cost was, any potential warranty coverage and answered all my questions well. I also appreciate how the place was able to get my car done and fixed by Monday! They estimated that I would get maybe the report by Tuesday but got everything completed even before then. Will come again!

Before visiting Towne Hyundai, I visited several Hyundai locations because i knew Hyundai is what I wanted to purchase. I was doing my research for a while on what would fit best with my budget but none of the Hyundai dealerships were are welcoming and honest as Towne Hyundai. I wasn’t very knowledgeable about buying cars before visiting Towne Hyundai and when I can here immediately Jose greeted me at the door with such a big smile and willing to help. I showed the Certified Pre-Owned 2018 Hyundai Sonata and already had the Carfax printed and was ready to go see the vehicle. Jose was very detailed and patient since this was my first big girl purchase on my own. He didn’t seem like he was in it for the money or trying to push me to buy the car, he really gave me the opportunity to learn the details of the car, how to either lease/finance, etc. He even wanted to know about my background and where I’m from which is great because it makes the experience more personal and comforting since car shopping can be overwhelming. Overall, my experience was a 10/10 and I will definitely recommend shopping here for your cars in the future!

I am from out of state. I broke down in Wayne, no lights no gas gauge , total Electrical system break down. In fear of dealerships and bad reputations I took my car to a local mechanic .17 faults showed up on his computer. His recommendation take it to a dealership. I went on line and Town Hyundai had highest rating in area. They sure lived up to it. Courtney at service desk assured me the 1st chance to get my car in she would handle it and she did . She made sure that I was in good hands when she was not available . she assigned me Lynn again . Both woman deserve the highest praise for there professionalism. My wife traded in her leased suv a few weeks ago and bought another. Fred #1 was very helpful and really took care of her. My wife is a pretty good negotiator so I feel sorry for the sales person that has to deal with her but Fred was great. She left there knowing that she got a fair deal and feeling good about the whole process which as we all know, is not common. This is our 4th Santa Fe. There were a few issues after the purchase that Fred also took care of. I would highly recommend him.

I brought my daughters car in yesterday for scheduled maintenance. Despite having 70+ appointments scheduled for the day I was out in a little over an hour. They had to replace 2 filters. When the car was brought out it was washed but the tech forgot to replace the internal filter so he was doing it there. He was very apologetic and it only took a couple minutes. While he was doing it the service rep Ubaldo got tire bright and applied it to all 4 tires. He was also very apologetic for the delay. Unfortunately excellent and personable service is not always the norm these days so it great to see at Towne Hyundai!

My car was towed in for engine misfires by Hyundai Roadside Assistance. It took a while to find the root cause and it ended up being a big job. That said, the service staff was very professional and got my car repaired under warranty. Lynn was accommodating and great at communicating any progress and setbacks. The technician who worked on my car (Dennis) did a great job and spent a lot of time troubleshooting/diagnosing and even went beyond his call of duty to talk to me with his input which not only displayed his technical abilities but his customer focus competencies as well. My only complaint is the long wait to receive a courtesy vehicle which is an issue i never had to experience with other car marks. I'm looking forward to leasing an Ioniq 5 in the near future so I hope the loaner car situation improves by then. Overall a good experience servicing and repairing my car at Towne Hyundai

Today I called and was informed that my car had never been recalled for a power steering issue, even when I was insisting that it had been (I had just looked it up with my VIN number). I'm kind of worried about the fact that they're not viewing recall records correctly, since if there was an issue related to it they would have probably missed it. I eventually called someone else at Hyundai who confirmed that my car was recalled and gave me the records I asked for. When I was contacted about my review, I talked about another incident where I brought my car in for a different recall, and the person I spoke to recommended services that I had just had done by my mechanic, making it clear that they didn't actually check what was needed before recommending services. Apparently it's policy done to "save you time". Why are you so worried about my time but not my money? And why not inform people that you're deciding that based on mileage basis, without even asking about the car's history?

So, I got to my appointment about 15 minutes early on the Saturday before July 4th. It was a mad house, but after only a minute or so Ubaldo approached me, checked in my car and told me the wait time, about 90 minutes or so. (Makes sense since I was early, I was expecting an hour for my first service). So I wait in their waiting room, which is quite spacious and has coffee at the ready. Something needed at 830 in the morning. After hanging about for about a half hour, Ubaldo asks me to see him when I get a chance. Found out my car was ready to go. Everything was done! I was in shock. This was by far the best experience I ever had getting service done, and they even washed my car. Love this place, and forever grateful of them getting me in and out as fast as they did.

After purchasing so many cars from different dealerships, I have NEVER worked with the most difficult people like this dealership. Don’t do any business with Towne Hyundai in Denville NJ. Not only do they have rude sales associates but they don’t make ANY accommodations for customers. They lie about having everything ready to make a deal and at the end, nobody has anything ready nor do they talk to each other! Be careful with doing a credit report as they will run it twice within a week span then have you fill out a credit report once you arrive! Again nothing ready even through you spend time doing paperwork upfront. They are disorganized, unfriendly, unhelpful and have no respect for clients. It’s a waste of time!

Purchased a 2022 Genesis GV70 from Towne Hyundai in Denville, NJ. . Sales experience was fine but the service department here is the worst. Took about a month to get an appointment for the first service of the vehicle. Supposed to have valet service with Genesis but this dealership refuses to provide me with valet service or a loner car. They are very rude, disrespectful and refused to let me speak with the dealership manager. I regret buying a car from this dealership.

I picked up my new (to me) car yesterday and I couldn't be more thrilled! I love it and it never would have happened without all the help from Max and the finance team. They spent a lot of time helping us find the car I really wanted and getting it financed. I don't have a single complaint. It was an overall good experience, better than I've had at other dealerships in the past. Max explained everything clearly and spent a LOT of time making it all come together. He was open and honest and I never felt like there was anything shady going on behind the scenes. Thanks Max! The kids love the car too!

I have been dealing with Engine Issues for over 2 years and the Service Advisors of Towne Hyundai, Hyundai Corporate, and Hyundai Extended Warranty have required me to drive an unsafe and unreliable car while forcing me to jump through numerous hoops before finally taking ownership and fixing their mistake and replacing my engine. I never felt supported or cared for as a customer and I will never recommend Hyundai or Towne Hyundai to any of my friends and family. Unless you want to drive an unreliable and unsafe car for over 2 years do not trust Hyundai or Towne Hyundai to support you or provide required service.
Nora, we want to start off by apologizing for your experience and for the amount of time it took to complete your repairs. The manufacturer has protocol in place that had to be followed in order to qualify you for an engine replacement. Our Service Manager, Ernie, reviewed your history and oversaw the process to ensure there were no further delays after you expressed your concerns. Your vehicle has since been repaired and you have acknowledged there are no further issues. We can not change the amount of time it took to complete the repairs but we certainly don’t want you doubting that your safety wasn’t a priority. My wife’s lease had an issue and we brought it in last minute this morning, she is active military and could not be without a vehicle. Amanda was great! She went above and beyond during such tough times especially with all the shortages going on in the world. She was truly amazing and was able to get the car in and all set. Towne Hyundai needs to make sure everyone they hire has the same compassion as Amanda did today! To the entire service team thank you for everything you do everyday and did today for my wife and I.

After reading all the amazing reviews I had to check this out for myself. From talking to Lilly over the phone and meeting the kindest host at the front ( sorry I didn’t get your name ) and being introduce to Alex working with Hector my finance guy and Ed empowering Alex thru the deal. Alex really worked hard to make sure I got what I was looking for and was super honest, He truly took his time to get me what I wanted. Very nice, knowledgeable staff. Joe I. worked with us to get to the price we were looking for on a new 2020 Santa Fe. But it’s a very lengthy process. 1.5 hrs for our first meeting. Then another 5 hrs when we went back and completed the purchase. Don’t know why it needs to take that long but apparently that’s everywhere. At least there’s a kitchen with food and drinks while you wait! My mom, sister and I all now have Santa Fe’s from Towne Hyundai 😁

Had a great experience at Towne. Bought a Palisade after hunting for weeks for one that wasn't black or white. Put a deposit down on an expected vehicle and it arrived 2 weeks earlier than expected. Vito, our sales contact was excellent. Professional, knowledgeable and genuinely concerned about making the entire process as pleasant as possible. I closed the deal on a federal holiday, had a tough time getting the insurance handled, and he was apologizing for working with other customers. Seriously dedicated. He's even checked in multiple times since the purchase to make sure we were happy. Will definitely be back for service and when we're ready for another new car.
