The gentlemen helped me out very very well he was very pleasant and very patient and helpful and he listened to me very well. He helped me with an item that I bought into the store. I am beyond satisfied with this location and I will be back this was my first time visiting this place and I love it. I pray that the gentlemen gets many blessings in his future and may God continue to bless him. 😁 Sadly I can’t remember his name fully but it does sound like the name ‘Chris’ but that’s not his name. He’s a young male with braids in his hair freshly groomed as well. Definitely was worth the drive. 😄

The young lady Kennise, was very patient, friendly, knowledgeable and helpful as tried to decide exactly what I wanted to purchase as a gift for my son. The selection in the store is wide that Kennise helped me find a gift for my daughter! The prices were good but the manager made it more steal. This is a great place to shop!

Honestly my review has more to do with the employee name mr. Deon. besides this being a a go to spot for pawning items he was very generous with his words clearly a pawn shop is a last stop so having someone their to be encouraging lifted my day.

Stear clear of this place my item was broken while in their possession. Going back to the store was a waste of my time!!!, the same TWO men that were in the store a day prior act like they have amnesia and Alzheimer's, then proceed to tell me I should have checked it before I left the store...So I said naw I should have checked it before I gave you my money like you did to me... The Manager says oh naw you have to pay first then we go get it. Which seemed ok until you pick up your item get home and it no longer works. And now they have 0 accountability.. I could go on but with more to say I'll leave it there. They also have an incredibly high interest rate. I was shocked when I visited Crown Pawnbrokers in NW DC who actually has a customer friendly interest rate. I can leave an item in Crown for 5 month in order to pay the same interest charged at top dollar monthly. Their name has never lied. The charge TOP DOLLAR...

I came here this past Saturday and the customer service was truly poor! Deon was very rude and had a certain attitude about him, I then spoke with the manager who was no better. He heard deon going back and fourth with me and didn't intervene in a timely manner. The 3rd guy was very cool and professional. If you're a female I'd advise you have a male with you, the rudeness I experienced would of never occurred if a guy came with me.

Top Dollar has exceptionally wonderful customer service. Allot of the times when your dealing with pawn shops, they're so accustomed to people needing them that they lack basic people skills. My experience in the store last week was something I just needed to share. I was shopping for my daughter's first necklace and not really knowing what I wanted, staff was very knowledgeable about their merchandise. I was more inclined to deal with Top Dollar at this point, and from them even explaining their return policy in detail and wanting all customers to be satisfied sealed the deal for me. I urge consumers to definitely visit the store when unable to decide in a purchase alone, and to get "top quality" items as well!

The name of the nice lady who helped us was Elle (probably misspelt). She was super awesome, really kind and was to the point. The store was nicely arranged and they even had FREE POPCORN. Yeah. FREE. While you wait in line. They have a giant wheel you can spin to win free stuff. This place is awesome. Definitely going to be a returning client.

Went into the store 15 minutes before closing looking for a 55 inch TV. First of all, the entire store spoke to me when I came in. Unheard of 15 minutes before closing. The employees were very nice and helpful. I was not rushed or handled unprofessionally. It was almost a pleasure to spend $300 with these folks. I have found a new store to shop at. This is the most customer service based pawn shop I've ever been to. I walked in with a low value that I hoped to receive for my electronic loan and walked out with double the amount. They understood I was going through a financial struggle and they gave me a really good deal for the pawn. Deon especially made my pawn experience one of the best because he took the time to explain everything in full detail. I would definitely recommend this pawn shop for anyone seeking great customer service people and good value for your items.

Great selection for a pawn shop, everything from High end watches to power tools to video game systems. The staff is very friendly, knowledgeable, helpful and willing to deal. They provide quick and attentive service. I would consider seeking a different location to sell your gold too. I brought in about 20 grams of gold to sell, and was offered $350. I will say they do have a nice selection of watches, and power tools. Their TV selection was nice as well, however prices are comparable to brand new ones from Walmart.

This was my first time at this pawn shop and it wont be my last!! I was dealing with an emergency and had to pawn my diamond anniversary ring and not only did I get top dollar but Deon the financial specialist who has the heart of gold made me cry tears of joy right there at the counter when he gave me more money for my ring so that my husband wouldn't have to also sell his DJ controller so that we could get enough money to pay our bill. Did a quick Google search to identify a pawn shop that closes late. Made it to the location 10 minutes prior to closing, & was pleasantly surprised. The actual store layout and merchandise advertised is arguably the best in the area! The customer service was exceptional! All of the reps were welcoming and eager to assist. I was anticipating them to be in a hurry to close, but that couldn’t be farther from the truth. They were courteous, thorough, and gave me a top dollar selling price for my item. Definitely encourage others to buy, sell, & pawn here!

Top Dollar Pawn is a top shop business, and constantly improving service and decor. I don’t think there has been one time that I haven’t purchase an item since I’ve been visiting, matter a fact I’ve purchase several item when I shop at Top Dollar Pawn and Jewelry. This is an amazing business that cares for their customers as people. I was stuck in Maryland and was trying to get home to Kansas city. Deon took the time to come outside and go through my tools with me to determine what I could use to borrow the amount of money I needed to get home with. Knowing he did not really want the items we came up with because they were used and not the best for resale, he still took the chance and found a way to get me the money I needed to get me home for the holidays. Fortunately my funds came through last minute so I'll be back tomorrow to pick up my tools before I leave, but I would highly recommend this business to anyone. They are the best at what they do. I didn’t sell my jewelry here. I wasn’t welcomed in the friendly manner as others described. I actually sought this place because they have the best reviews. The associate was polite but didn’t look at me much as we were discussing the deal and he seemed uncomfortable . I got an odd feeling and decided not to sell. The place is very clean and organized. They even have a kids area which is nice. I’d likely buy here just not sell. I was offered more $$ with a different dealer so I will likely take more pieces of old jewelry there.
