Top Dollar Pawn Main St, Sanford

Bought a laptop from here recently and the battery wont hold a charge. But the owner of the place is very reasonable and took it for a swap for something else in the store and everything was all good. He is very honest and very understanding. Check them out its a must see place

The guy that was there "trying" to "help" us was extremely rude. He was on his phone most of the time and when I gave him the price I was looking for he laughed in my face and rushed me out the door. He didn't want to negotiate or anything, he was to invested in his phone. Won't ever be going back. I do not recommend this place. Extremely unprofessional.

Service was excellent! Staff was very nice and attentive. The store was very clean and had a lot of product. The man who helped me was extremely nice, and very knowledgeable about what I was selling and I'm confident he gave me the best price for it. Will definitely be going back in the future.

Cool shop and they will work with people and they try their best to do right by their customers. It's easy to see that they are used to going the extra mile and are happy to do it. Can't go wrong here, I highly recommend it you are in the area and need a quick loan.

Was rude when I asked a question !! Will not recommend this place !! Cares more about his reviews than customers and running a business..also he found me on face book messanger to apologize by saying other people were in a rush that's what he was rude then asked me to change my review place is a joke and not worth going to there are more pawn shops around here with nicer owners who will work with you on a price definitely think before going here leave it for a last resort and that's pushing it

I recently found myself in a tight spot and needed a little money to get through a rough week due to lack of work and intially thought this establishment to be an okay place. But once I was working again I found it difficult to get down and pay off my item and get it back since it was worth hundreds of dollars and they only would loan 50$ against it. I called and talked to the owner on several occasion. Trying to work it out and At first I thought him to be a legitimate and respectable business man. But instead he led me to believe he was holding my stuff until I could get there, when I went to get it he gave me a run around about how it was “lost” to finally tell me he sold it. This guy takes advantage of people and straight up lies to make every dollar he can. This place is super shady. And I’d highly recommend steering clear of this place. The store is grungy the owner is shady and the only top dollars are the ones the owner will scam you out of.

Beyond amazing service here. I called two other pawn shops looking to sell my violin and because the bow is damaged (it's a cheap part to replace on a pricey instrument) they wouldn't even look at it, despite the obvious resell value. To my surprise not only was he interested in it but he's planning to buy a new bow and was happy to take it off my hands for a reasonable price. The next owner is going to be so happy with it, espcially since the only issue it ever had was the bow and its a real beauty. Definetly check this place out for quality goods. Not only are they reasonable but this is the first time I've not felt creeped out entering a pawn shop. Its bright, open, and has a more unique selection of goods than competitiors. There's something there for someone of every age/interest, and so well priced too. Making this my go-to for all birthday shopping that's for sure.
