This is a really good dealership. I walked in and the experience was really good. My sales person Steven made sure I would get the best car to fit my needs. One thing I also liked was the fact that he was not pushy in order to get a sale. I never felt rushed answered all my questions, and was respectful. A bonus, product knowledge. In this crazy car market I was pleasantly surprised that they didn’t have dealer markups. I would highly recommend. Thank you to everyone

Service department is great. Vanessa and Steve are always on the ball and do a great job of explaining what needs to be done. They also give you a cool video summary of your vehicle by the technician. You can find cheaper prices in town if you are on a budget, but you’ll be hard pressed to find friendlier service.

Car had an engine light on under 10k mikes which was disappointing. The Dolan group said they wouldn’t look at it for 8 days which was even more disappointing. I brought the car in 2 days later and they did not offer a rental car nor help to pay for a rental car. All that being said, they had the car back to me 2 days after I brought it in and had it back in great shape. They did a great job. I only had to pay for a rental car for 2 days. Their work is appreciated

I went in for a test drive and it was a super simple process, and I ended up wanting to buy the car. They all emphasized that they would like me to have a nice experience for my first time buying a car. They consistently offered me refreshments and made sure I was comfortable. They seemed to be very transparent with me as a first time buyer, but I was definitely still happy to have brought my mom along with me. Ended up getting a good deal and felt very good about my purchase. No issues so far, but they have made it very easy to get ahold of them and have been very communicative since leaving the dealership.

Well service was great considering there was only one person attending to everyone. Vanessa was great. However, what they say they do may not be accurate. I informed them at check in that my coolant was low and they “green checked “ they checked everything. No way. My low water light is still on. See pic All I got was 100 dollar oil change

Great Dealership Understanding of the maintenance needs of your vehicle. Just recently I had a safety issue with my vehicle, took it in to Tom Dolan's Mazda and Steve Thayer, my service adviser helped me with the issue. He kept me updated throuhout the day via text, phone communication and actully sent me a video of the tech working on the vehicle and the problem that I possibly incurred making it easy to understand. The transparency of the video was a great addition to being open and honest with the customer and I wish all Auto dealerships would do the same. The price they charged was very reasonable compared to other Mazda dealerships. Thank You again Steve Thayer and Tom Dolan Mazda

If I could give negative stars I would!!!! 0 stars!!!! This place has LOUSY communication! I brought my vehicle in Thursday the 16th, a service rep by the name of Steve just happens to go on vacation without telling anyone about the issue with installing an O2 sensor that was faulty with my vehicle. Service center ordered another 02 sensor via overnight shipping without calling me back after requesting a call back. I was then told I had to wait over the weekend to have it installed Monday (today). I called in to see if the overnight part had made it in this morning and was told I would receive a callback when my vehicle is finished. I receive the call halfway throught the day, just to be told that my vehicle won't be serviced today because another vehicle is in the way. They have terrible communication and don't know how to prioritize their customers properly! If my vehicle continues to have issues, I'm trading it into Subaru! Lack of professionalism I swear!

Worst service ever. I called and asked them to check my tire pressure because I keep getting a warning light for it even though the PSI is 33. They tell me they can check the air pressure out today and fill up my tires and diagnose the issue if i drove up there .So i immediately drive over there and they proceed to tell me none of the 3 service workers know how to fill a tire and i should go to “les scwabs”.

Purchasing a car here was a nightmare, which should have been my first warning. Getting maintenance or tire patches is an absolute nightmare. The ladies at the service desk are always friendly, but the bald guy always has an attitude. If I didn't go through the stress of getting a warranty then I would definitely go anywhere else. Luckily the car gets us from point a to b, so that's a plus.

Vanessa was very good. I was frustrated because I had made an appointment but for some reason it did not exist. She said they would get me in, and that I would not be able to get my car back that day because my car was old and the parts were not kept in stock, had to be ordered. I still was not happy, but she looked my car up and found a couple of recalls, which meant I could get a loaner car. I do not like all the modern bells and whistles new cars have. She took the time to turn off all the ones she could. All through this she was pleasant. She is the reason I am giving a 4 star review. What brought the review down a bit is because of the appointment problem. My last phone conversation I mentioned my coming in the next morning. The person I talked to said nothing about the appointment not existing. The work done seems to have been done well. My car is running just fine.

Steve is always extremely patient and professional despite me coming for oil changes with my toddler and infant. His customer service is wonderful! My only real complaint is that I usually wait 2hrs and I drive alone from Fernley so I do have to sit in the dealership the entire time with two little ones. The sitting area is nice though and we usually make it out without tears :) Best experience with a dealership that I have ever had!

Brought in my 2017 Mazda 6 (end of lease) and was fortunate enough to end up with Kyle as our Sales Professional. Told him that I was thinking about moving in to a CX5 and he brought me right to one that had just rolled off the truck. It was the Carbon Edition, loved it! We didn’t need to look at any other cars. Went in and stated where we NEEDED to be and he made it happen! He was extremely knowledgeable and Professional. He will be my Sales Professional going forward. From the day I put an inquiry in the sales team has been very helpful in my search for a vehicle. Once I decided to buy the process was incredibly easy. My experience with them has been positive. I live 600 miles away, and the moment I got off the plane they had someone there to pick me up and take me to the dealership, my car was cleaned, fueled up, and ready to take home. Paperwork was done quick, and less than a few hours I was on the road heading back home. Best car buying experience I’ve had in years!

Staff was nice. Receptionist answering the phone was super helpful. We pretty much had narrowed our choice down to two trims and 3 color choices before arriving so we were fairly easy customers. Salesman Daniel wasn’t pushy and showed three models to us so we could compare interiors and features. Financing was easy and we received a fair trade in value for our old car. We are happy with the car and sales experience. Now on to the building... We bought a Mazda, but due to a building remodel happening did all the paperwork in the Kia showroom. That showroom was bare bones as far as cheap furnishings and perks. They didn’t even offer hot coffee. (The excuse was Covid, however our family bought a different brand similarly priced new car at another dealer about 5 weeks prior and we were offered a variety of coffees and they continued to offer other options while we waited so we found the COVID excuse kind of flimsy.) The bathroom at Kia was a bit dirty on the floor and ladies room was out of seat covers. We had an 8:30 am appointment so I shudder at what the bathroom will look like later in the day. I know that each amenity costs money and I’m not expecting the same amenities as luxury car dealers offer but a more comfortable experience would have been appreciated especially since this whole process took a few hours. This was with us being decisive buyers, having a large down payment, excellent credit and so on. It may take people much longer if they need to view more models etc... Hopefully the building remodel will offer a more comfortable experience.

I really liked the service I received at Tom Dolan Reno Mazda. I just moved to this area. I just need regular service oil change and tire rotation. I would have given it a 5, but the lounge area was not great. There is no place in walking distance to get lunch, so you are stuck at the lounge for an hour. I think they should at least have a USB port available or some sort of charging port for phones. Also there should be an area to work on laptops. I head to use the sales area.

I towed my car in with frustration. And I didn’t know what’s wrong with my car. I only knew that my key couldn’t start the engine. I poorly described the problem to Steve with anxiety and rush. Fortunately, Steve is so professional and helpful. It turned out to be nothing wrong with my key, it was only because the battery was dead. I was so lucky to have Steve as a service advisor. I am very pleased with the work that was done.

Got my car back with a check engine light on after it was in for a couple of airbag recalls, Ive driven that car 170,000 miles and pulled it into their garage myself and have never seen as much as the tire pressure light. Turns out it seemed to me that they tired to pull a fast one for some exta cash ($150 to DIAGNOSE IT) luckily I know better and looked it over myself and a sensor was pulled out just enough for the light to come on but not out enough that someone would notice, they also set my tire PSI from where I had it and blew a front right tire at 80mph on my 3 hour drive back home at 11:30 at night. Would definitely look over everything after getting your vehicle back.

Very easy to book service appointments online..Comfortable waiting area, shuttle ride available. Service advisor Steve was great. Estimated time car would he ready was reasonable and car was ready an hour earlier than estimated. Thorough report of all inspection points reviewed with service advisor. This was the 3rd service for my Mazda at Dolan Mazda and every experience so far has been great.

Was visiting from out of town. Called to get an oil change and tire rotation and they got me right in. Service was as promised, efficient, and friendly. The shuttle service was excellent! Took us to a local mall and gave us all kinds of tips for the area, then picked us up when my vehicle was ready. We would revisit this dealer in a heartbeat.

Everything went very smoothly when I purchased my car. Everyone was friendly and my salesman stayed in close contact while I waited for my car to be ready. The only thing that would have made my experience better would have been more explanation of how to set up my navigation and other technology related stuff in my new car.

I was a little disappointed when I dropped my car off to learn that the maintenance package I originally bought when I purchased the car was all used and expired except for one service that wasn’t due until 60,000 miles. my almost five year old CX-5 has only 27,000 miles on it . It would have been appreciated at my last service appointment to learn that I’d used all my services and to expect to pay for the services next time. I also was surprised that my car was not given the complimentary car wash this time. Disappointing visit .

I purchased 2 new cars, a 2023 Kia Sportage for my daughter and a 2022 Mazda CX5 Signature Turbo for myself. Did not finance, paid for them in full. Posh was our salesperson and he is AMAZING! Don't let them run your credit!! They told me they were going to check my credit 1 time through 3 banks. Instead, they did 5 hard inquiries the day I bought my car, and then did 4 additional hard inquiries through the same banks the next day. Totalling to 9 hard inquiries!

The service center has been great! I purchased my Mazda CX-5 out of state but bring it regularly to Dolan Mazda for service. Every time I take my car in there seems to be better communication and faster work. I definitely love that they text you updates and send videos of the car to explain what needs to be done.

There are three things any woman dreads: the gyno, the mammo & the used car salesman. But when my 2004 Honda needed to be upgraded I faced my fear and headed into Tom Dolan Mazda/Kia dealership on S. Virginia. Luckily I ran into salesman Kyle who had great reviews. Two hours later we were driving out with a 2019 Nissan. Made for a great New Year.

Excellent service; I took my car in for servicing and they finished ahead of schedule. They were also very transparent about pricing and showed me the price breakdown prior to committing to their services. The shuttle was very convenient and timely. Dealerships may be more expensive than an Autobody but worth the price for the customer service they provide.

I would love to give this Mazda dealership five stars but the customer service experience I've had after buying my car in 2018 has been the absolute worst. I can't get anyone to call me back and help me resolve the issue I keep having with my cars stereo nor giving me a quote on a new passenger window with labor included. I will not be considering buying from Mazda again.

I appreciated the service and the complimentary car wash. It did take a while for me to get my car out the wash. I was standing there watching my car not being washed. 20 mins later it was parked in the back even though my service advisor put in the paper work “customer waiting” because the porter parked the car in the back and didn’t bring it up I had to walk through the rear parking lot to find it. I came in for a simple oil change and not an extensive complicated service work, I shouldn’t have to hustle back to my car in the back of the parking lot looking for it. There has to be more communications because that’s what this placed lacked on, and it wasn’t even busy that’s the sad part.

I really enjoyed the experience we had at Dolan Mazda. Ben was so responsive to what we were looking for in a car. He also knew my time was very limited in being able to look and test drive. Additionally, being out of town, he, Cody and Grace in financing made sure everything could be done over the phone or Zoom. And, they even had the car delivered to our home 2 and a half hours away. I wouldn't hesitate to buy another vehicle from them.

I took my vehicle in for a recall and to have it thoroughly checked. They had it for a week while we were out of town. I am so very pleased with the work that was done. The mechanics found things that needed attention, which I am very grateful for. When I went in to pick up the vehicle, the paperwork was still in the shop and the vehicle had not been washed even though she said she had put the request in. I felt that with the vehicle being there for the entire week, she should have had plenty of time to make certain that everything was in order for me to pick the car up. She didn’t even acknowledge me when I went in. She was on hold and certainly could have taken a moment to acknowledge me. In the end, she end up checking me out while on hold. I am very happy with the work that was done on vehicle, I felt that the customer service was lacking.

Service couldn’t be better. The facility was clean and pleasant to wait in. My service advisor was extremely helpful. The wait time for service was faster than expected.

My experience the second time to Dolan Mazda was better than the first. The service writer was forthcoming and honest I felt and, delivered the car in a timely manner (I'm out of town so I had to wait there) I'll ask for Steve when I make an appointment. However, the reprogramming repair for the communication center lasted a couple hours and is back to doing the same thing as before. That was not $69 well spent. I moved from California last November, one of the most expensive states in the U.S. to live... The price for an oil change and tire rotation at Dolan Mazda is just outrageous, I drive a Mazda 3. $100 is robbery.

I’ve never had issues here. Steve has always been super nice and helpful. Last time we had a weird headlight situation and he was on top of it, and made sure I didn’t have to pay for the replacement due to a recall. They washed my car for free as well. I’m moving this summer and I hope my next Mazda dealership is as good! Thanks for everything!

From the moment Nick Martinez approached us I knew we were in for a MUCH better experience than we have ever had with a car dealership! Nick was professional and courteous not the typical pushy manipulative type. It was clear he was there to help with our questions and not just to close a deal. Very quickly we could tell he was a native of the area with that genuine and sincere demeanor we've come to appreciate about native locals. Adding to the pleasure of our experience was John Richmond who handled the paperwork portion. Topping off our evening was Lissa Sandoval who helped give a kick start with the extensive technology aboard our new Stinger. Together this team truly made us feel like family. The Dolan's can be quite proud of them all. We'll be back for our next purchase no doubt!

Purchasing a car there was a great experience however when it came to the maintenance aspect, i took my brand new Mazda in for the oil change and complimentary tire rotation, i mentioned to them that my breaks were squeaking and the my tire pressure continued to go down twice a week that if they can check that. I don’t think they did anything except change the oil. They wanted to get me out of there so fast they couldn’t tell me there was a nail in my tire that’s why my tire pressure continued to go on oh and that i needed new front breaks ! Went somewhere else to get the nail out and front breaks done !

This review is mostly of Vanessa who is a service advisor. I was lucky enough to work with Steve in the end and he was excellent. Vanessa was dealing with another dealership who was paying for the service. She misunderstood what they told her to do, when they called and emailed to correct her she never replied back. She called me at the end of the day and I requested that we try to resolve it the following day. She instead closed out my service ticket, without notifying me. She then failed to show up the next day for work. Leading the other dealership unable to reach her. When I called to check on my car I had to speak to someone else. Upon seeing the ticket was closed assumed the work was done. I came in to pick up my car to find nothing was done and notes from Vanessa saying the other dealership was refusing to pay. That is when I was lucky enough to work with Steve. He called the other dealership got confirmation that the work was authorized, ordered the parts and set up a new appointment with me. Very apologetic even though it was not his fault. Excellent customer service. I will refuse to work with Vanessa on future appointments.

Vanessa was not helpful at all ask for mileage on my car when I bought said she didn’t no but when I checked out very helpful gentleman next to her had mileage I was asking because she handed recommendations for 15000 mile service check out guy told those were taken care of before I bought car filters changed fuel additive

We purchased our Mazda used from Dolans and love the car but hate the fact that we can’t get the oil changed on a Saturday. I recently had my Mazda in for it’s 45000 mile service and some brake work done. I was very happy with the work on my car but wish that I had not opted to have my car washed. I know that car washes are offered as a courtesy to customers but I would appreciate a little more effort to clean the entire car and not just spray it down and dry it with a dirty towel.

I had a service appointment scheduled for maintenance and due to my husband’s emergency hospitalization the scheduler and Steve, the service advisor, were so very helpful in working around my needs. Since both the dealership and the hospital were over an hour away from home, it was wonderful to get my required service completed when it was convenient. Steve also had the job completed quickly by putting two technicians on my car so that my husband who was just discharged from the hospital and I didn’t have to wait. Thank you!
