Tinker Federal Credit Union E 61st St, Tulsa

Overall - not a bad credit union, since I have dealt with worse credit unions. I have a savings account and car loan. The biggest pet peeve - is the customer service. It is hit and miss at the Tulsa location. I guess it depends on the "time" of the month that you go in. It can be great at times, and other times, you just want to start screaming at them. I am going to refinance my car loan so that I can go back to my bank. The interest rate is a little higher, but the customer service is great. Do not assume that credit unions provide better service.

Their communication used to be tolerable, but, these days... Can't get in contact with anybody especially now since they shutdown their lobby. They never answer calls and the times they do list as available to call are closed an hour earlier than listed. I called at 3pm, waited 40min, nothing. So I tried to call again and their phone line gave that dial tone as though it was off the hook. Also, disputing charges is a ridiculously difficult and long-drawn out process even with all necessary proof. Expect to wait literally at least an hour in the drive thru to get the chance to speak to a clerk. Guess it's time to change banks.

Easily the worst bank I've ever tried to communicate with. If you can actually get through on the phone it's an hour plus wait time. Most of the time the line just gives a busy signal or rings and then hangs up.

Tinker changed their website platform which subsequently erased all member activated auto payments on loans and credit cards. This caused my credit card to go 30 days delinquent, dropping my fico score below acceptable levels for the mortgage I had been pre approved for… LOST MY HOME AND CLOSING WAS CANCELLED. Absolutely disgusting customer service, no one was helpful. I am pursuing legal action due to this.

Absolutely the worst communication from any bank. I have sent multiple messages online thru the app. No answer. Also, I am only assuming but I guess the tellers are taking phone calls since on any given day wait times are 30 minutes or ore on the pone. So you cant call, cant text, cant email, and only one location in Tulsa. I picked wrong.

Total trash this was a really good bank years ago. Clearly they forgot what made them a good bank…..After the rollout of the new website and app that is worse than what we had and now hour plus wait for member services I’m leaving this bank after over 15yrs. 0/10 Do Not Recommend.

Getting pretty tired of the, "... experiencing higher than normal call volume" BS. Hire help! It must be your "normal" call volume now because it's been months unable to get someone on the phone! That wouldn't be so bad if I didn't have to call every month because you can't seem to get my accounts right! MY BANK WAS EVEN BETTER!!!

I was on hold for 50 minutes yesterday until I was able to speak to a representative. This seems to be their normal mode now. I also tried messaging thru the app but no one responded. I've had an account here for decades, but will be closing it now that there doesn't seem to be any timely way to communicate with them. Can't believe their service has declined to this level.

The online banking here is terrible. Do not get a loan with them. They make it impossible to pay online and are rude to veterans. Rate maybe good fighting for hours trying to pay terrible. They change systems screwed up external account can't remove. Can't pay the bill not driving an hour and a half to pay. 8 dollar fee to pay with your bank card ridiculous.

Have been trying to get them to call me back for 3 days straight. I call every single day to speak with Harry and it's pointless. Will not be sending our business there anymore! Highly suggest looking for another bank or credit union.

Worst bank ever. Customers service 1 out of 10. Can't even make a payment online. Try calling them and their phone doesn't even work. Try calling them on costumer service support and was on hold for 40 minutes and when I actually got a hold of them, they just hung up on me. Just trying to pay my bills to credit union but I guess they don't like money

Amazing place to bank. They have always gone above and beyond to help me out with financing! Even with the shortage of employees and high workload they have always made it work! Never go anywhere else! I love Tinker!

Absolutely horrible customer service, roll out new app and it locks you out of your current account. Call and they have a 39 minute wait time. Call the local branch and they won't answer the phone. Feel better seeing the 2.8 stars, tells me they stink for everyone!
