Jackie and Erin were amazing to work with as we went through the process of researching a property for a potential house build. They were very easy to work with, honest, and upfront about the process. Jackie put together a very detailed proposal and answered all of our questions in a very timely manner. We were very impressed with the options we had with Tim O’Brien and loved working with Jackie. The first property didn’t pan out, but we will be using them in the future. We highly recommend working with them if you are considering building a home.

We bought our Tim O Brien home last October (2020). It was a spec home that was about halfway done when we found it. When we wrote the offer we added some Changes into the plan and Jamie and Tony Gazzana worked hand in hand to make sure we got what we wanted. The entire process went seamless and Anthony from the warranty dept. Continued to check in on us every few months for any repairs needed. He was timely and communicated every step of the warranty process with us. We are very happy with the customer service of Tim O brien as a whole!

We built with Tim O'Brien Homes in 2013, and almost 10 years later we would still recommend them to anyone interested in building a home. Not only was our initial building experience great, but the years following our occupancy have been just as wonderful. TOH truly stands behind the quality of their homes. We have had minor warranty items surface over the past year or so, and their responsiveness and willingness to help us has exceeded our expectations. Dan Shudy, Customer Care Specialist, has gone above and beyond to make certain our issues were resolved. He is genuinely kind, helpful, extremely responsive, and also offers innovated approaches to situations that we never would have thought of. Dan Shudy is a prime example of the simple fact that Tim O'Brien Homes really DOES stand behind what they build, even if it was years ago that you started working with them.

On January 18th 2021 when we drove into Wrenwood and met Patrick, he held our hands throughout the whole process from choosing a lot, switching us to a new lender etc. Even when we had disagreements, he didn't let it affect the building of our house. We could call on him anytime, though there were changes with staff during the construction but didn't affect the timing of the building. Everyone we worked with in the process were good and helpful. They were able to get us switched to a new company without additional cost so the house could be completed on time. A few times communication was slow but overall experience was great, same after we moved in though still waiting for a feedback on some things and I'm sure it will be done.

John was great. He was fast and efficient in helping my mother with her home. He answered all of our questions in a professional manner and was on the spot with all the requests we made. John acted like it was his home and put in the effort to make sure everything was done properly. Can’t say enough about his positive attitude and dedication to customer service.

Our experience with TOB homes has been great. We purchased a spec house near completion a year ago. We had our own Realtor representing us through the sale but also dealt with Charlie who was very attentive, thorough and easy to work with. We are pleased with the quality of the home and the warranty team has been quick to respond with any minor issues we’ve had.

There are many home builders out there and so many options. In reality there are only a few things that eventually separate a builder from the pack. We built with TOB homes in 2016 and the customer service over the years has been top notch. If you are looking for a builder who stands by their product and a customer care department that actually listens and follows through you will be hard pressed to find better. Dan S in customer care was great to work with. When a few small issues arose he went the extra mile even stopping by after hours to address my issue. Even when a manufacturer warranty expired he went through great lengths as an advocate to help me and my family out. If you are looking to build a home you can at least have some peace of mind knowing that the folks in customer care are passionate about what they do and they do care about you as a customer.

Patrick and Carey are absolutely amazing! They listen well, provide great advice, and are helping us build the home of our dreams in Cedarburg. It will be a beautiful home where we will grow old, hang out with family and friends, and be happy. Their attention to detail is extraordinary and they go well beyond the call of duty. We are nearly done with the design phase, and are very eager to break ground in April. Thanks for the professional and personal way you work with us!

Tim O’Brien Homes has been excellent to work with from start to finish. From the buying process, to the 1-year warranty experience and beyond. I specifically worked with Dan Shudy. We had some minor things that needed to be addressed during the warranty period, which is to be expected. There was no arguing over warranty coverage like with some other “warranty” experiences I’ve had with other business’s. Dan was on top of every item, and got them resolved in a timely matter. Furthermore, there was a larger issue that came up after the warranty period. It was kind of a gray area and not a common problem, but Dan / Tim O’Brien took the proper steps to identify the problem, and resolve the issue. Again, there was no arguing over what needed to be done, who was going to pay for it, etc. They really stepped up to the plate to stand behind their product / tradesmen, and did the right thing. In today’s world of AWFUL customer service in all industries, this experience was a breath of fresh air!! I would highly recommend Tim O’Brien Homes if you are in search of a new home, and I would specifically ask for Dan Shudy to be your customer care specialist if possible.

We had a great experience with TOB staff Dan Shudy who went above and beyond to help us install our over-the-range microwave that was challenging due to the cabinet trims that were specific to our model home. Dan Shudy came in and offered to help remove the trim so we could install the microwave and the came back to refit the trim after installation. He made sure that the trim did not get damaged as well as protected our cabinets from being damaged. He was genuine in agreeing to help us despite the fact that the builders had no liability related to our issue. this goes into show how much the TOB staff is reliable and how they go above and beyond in providing a great experience to their homeowners.

John with the warranty process has been amazing prompt and very communicative, and found things we had not noticed (loose mirror) and made sure we were aware when things would be touched up. There have been only two things found in the 90 day process which is a testimate to the pride in work that TOB's trades do. Mary Z was also great and kept us well informed and acted in our best interest representing us in the pruchase of our home. TOB homes does high quality work and has a great team of people to make the process easy and enjoyable.

We bought a home from them that was brand new for our daughter and they have STILL after 7 months not finished a lot of promised things. The house is loaded with spiders and we have had both Batzner and Orkin out 3 times each and they cannot access the attic with out ripping out the ceiling to do pest control. No driveway or front walkway has been poured. We paid to have an electrician fix the electrical. Horrible builders and horrible follow up. They sell a great story and then stop responding to you. Don't waste your money.
