Joshua Ambush was so professional and wonderful to work with. He made my refinancing process very enjoyable. I love how he was available to chat and if busy, returned calls rapidly each and every time. Joshua also explained things very carefully to make sure I understood the process entirely. When I emailed, I got a response right back. Once we completed the process he was still prompt on answering questions when I reached out afterwards and we all know some people won't do that. I felt extremely blessed to have him assist me throughout. He has a wonderful personality which made this experience delightful. From our first initial conversation, I knew that I was in good hands. I highly recommend him and look forward to utilizing his services again in the future. Simply put, Josh is great at his job. We are first time home buyers unfamiliar with how all of this works and he explained every step of the process so we could fully understand. He made the lending process easy, was always a phone call away, happily answered all of our questions, and made us feel secure during the home buying process. Tidewater Mortgage was actually recommended to me by an agent (who I did not buy from) as she said that she thought so highly of them that she used Tidewater for her own home loan. Steve Runnels was great!! He was my loan officer and kept me up to date every step of the way. He asked me questions in regards to the home I was buying, not only from a mortgage perspective, but to make sure that I was protected and not being taken advantage of. He really seemed to care about me as not only a client but as a person as well. Steve also has a great personality with a joke or two coming out now and then which definitely helped with the anxiety/stress that comes with buying a home. If I buy again I will go right back to Steve and Tidewater. I couldn’t have asked for a better company for my mortgage needs! During my home buying process I had a chance to work with multiple lenders. I chose to work and close with Tidewater because Steve Runnels was recommended to me.
