This was our second time using Rate House Mortgage Company and I can safely say we won't ever go anywhere else. We had an excellent experience nine years ago as first time home buyers: We had just had our first child, and most lenders wanted me to return from maternity leave early in order to secure the loan we needed, but Rate House worked hard to let us get the house AND stay at home with the baby for the last two month of my leave, and I'm still so grateful for that. So when we were looking to move again, I went straight back to Rate House and again found excellent service. This housing market is competitive and moves fast, but John was as responsive as they come. As we shopped, we had the confidence of knowing we could put an offer together within hours if needed, because John and his team were just a phone call away. Once we finally had an offer accepted, John walked us through each and every step of the process and made us feel so comfortable with each step. He was always ahead of the game, was in constant communication with our attorney and the lender, and made the whole process so easy to manage. I have also recommended a few friends to refinance with John at Rate House and they all had great experiences--and saved money! Highly recommend this company.

It was such a pleasure working with John Wolkin, as first time homebuyers we didn’t know how the process worked and he took the time to walk through the whole process with us from the beginning. He’s quick to answer emails, phone, and even text messages. Throughout the whole process you just felt like John was one you could count on to have your best interest in mind and not just close the deal the deal at all costs. John went way above and beyond even going as far as to reach out to the sellers side to vouch for the strength of our financial situation to back up our offer which is so important these days with the competitive bids. The transition into the contract period was just as smooth Karolina and the rest of the the team was on top of it making sure we got all the necessary information without duplicating any effort. I can say the mortgage side off the deal was one of the few aspects that was either on time or ahead of time in the process.
