Made my first time home buying experience a comfortable and exciting one! They worked hard to get me approved as an independent contractor healthcare professional, and once I had a change from independent contractor to employee they started over to get me a better interest rate. They openly communicated every step of the way, and were always available to take a call, answer an email, or even text when I had a question. They had a good relationship with my realtor and builder that made the whole process as easy and streamlined as possible.

Anytime I need mortgage services Mike is the only person I call. His knowledge and personality makes him the absolute best person to work with when it comes to a large life decision such as financing a home. I have and always will highly recommend Mike with the Newmann group!

I had originally been recommended financing through my Realtor for another company. These people refused to meet with me in person due to "COVID", which IMO is a lame excuse. I approached Jeannie Inman, who is a family friend, about questions I had. She arranged a meeting immediately & I met with Michael, Jeannie & the rest of the team at Evergreen. Michael explained that there existed a state funded VA loan program that offered lower interest rates & was less stringent on inspections due to the cash required for downpayment. I was completely unaware of this program & it seemed the original lender was as well. Needless to say the folks at Evergreen won my business. The interest rate they were able to obtain crushed the original rate & saved me thousands of dollars and allowed me to literally live my dream in the Applegate Valley. I am so grateful to all of you! We would not have our home without Mike Newmann and his wonderful group. We were pre-approved for a mortgage through our original broker, but no one knew we were going to run into an issue that would bring the loan process to a complete halt. I learned more about the state of the IRS than I ever wanted—that if you get through at all, you’ll wait a good two hours to speak with an agent, that they are two years behind processing returns, and that they create a ‘tax return transcript’ that lenders often require as part of the loan process. The original lender we were working with did require those transcripts which do not, as yet, exist given that the IRS has not yet processed our returns. After three days desperately trying to find a resolution, hours on the phone and many pleas for something we could do to verify that we’d filed our taxes, it looked like we were going to lose our house. We were devastated. Fortunately, our original mortgage broker found Mike Newmann’s group and she gave me his contact information. I called him and we were on our way through what proved to be a very challenging, but ultimately successful journey! We ran into problems that at the time seemed almost insurmountable. It was one of the most difficult experiences my husband and I have ever been through. But Mike and his team guided us through all of it with kindness, skill and a perseverance for which I’m eternally grateful!! I doubt there is another home loan company that would have stuck it out with us like they did, and I doubt many others would have known how to work through the issues we faced! The Newmann Group is why we and our animals (many of them rescues) have a new home, a great loan and an affordable mortgage. John and I will never forget what the Newmann Group did for us. I only wish there were more than five stars to give them!!

Michael Newmann and his staff were amazing and able to close my refinance in 2 weeks. I got the documents they needed usually the day they asked for it, so we made a really good team at getting things done. Mike is awesome; I wouldn't use anyone else for my home loan!
