An absolute scam. Harassed us with emails, phone calls and letters until we responded. They continued to HOUND us for information, and pushed us to pay 650 dollars for an inspection, on which we were PROMISED to passed and get approved. Not only did the dude miss the mark, he was off 40k, and the bank won't cover the inspection cost like they said they would. Not mention that it took them months to get back with us on it. Absolutely ridiculous, and put us in more financial trouble than what was needed. When someone finally spoke with me, they just shrugged and pointed us elsewhere, saying it wasn't a scam, because we could use the inspection papers to get another loan. I would have NEVER paid for an inspection without their insistence and promises to have the money returned. You will be better off literally anywhere, and apparently their employees agree, hence why I was told to go elsewhere. The banker personally knew the inspector that we paid, by the way. So how someone lying to us about our house worth, lying about costs and refunds and then ghosting us for months AFTER we paid for the inspection (IE: Not answering phone calls and emails) isn't a scam, is beyond me.

We recently refinanced with The Federal Savings Bank. Aramis Moreira and his team were absolutely fantastic!! They were always working things on their end to be sure we were ready to move forward in the process. Our loan was very complicated, but being a lending institution, they were able to help us in ways a typical mortgage company could not. Aramis used his knowledge of the process & personal connections to ensure the successful close of our loan before year end. Appraisals are backed up for months in Washington, but he found us an appraiser in less than a week! We are very satisfied and won't hesitate to use him again.

Nick Martinthe Vice president of the Arizona branch makes promises he can not keep, he told me not to make my payments he had my refi done and all my debt paid. then came up with some B.S on the underwriters changing it all and he couldn't do it. Now I have late payments on my credit and it is shot. dont listen to them or trust this place, it will screw you over

Austin and his team were FANTASTIC!!! This was my first time refinancing and they made the process so effortless. He was able to get me a significantly lowered rate (APR); which was the reason I wanted to refinance. His team was quick to respond to any questions I asked, and made sure that I understood. They were organized, and knew exactly what was needed, so, I was able to collect documents before they were asked for for processing. Hands down, I would recommend and for sure if I ever need to do anything with my house I will be back. It was a great experience, highly professional, and just all around great people to work with.

Be aware of this bank. It’s VP of the Scottsdale (Yazan Alsharif) tried to rip me off with and extra $14k for buying down points and advised not to answer phone calls from any other competitors. The minute I ask him to cancel my loan, he goes silent and unresponsive to any of my emails nor to returns my appraisal fee (That never too a place). Extremely poor customer service from him and the team.

I refinanced my Mortgage at The Federal Savings Bank. They had very competitive rates. The communication with my loan officer was outstanding. My loan officer responded emails within minutes even outside business hours. They made the refinance process really easy. I would really recommend this bank for any business that you may have.

I was so impressed with the communication I received during the process. Having one person (Austin) I could contact with questions was priceless. I appreciate the importance the bank and Austin have in keeping good communication with clients. I would absolutely recommend Austin to others. Compared to some experiences I've heard from friends that have refinanced with other banks, ours was a million times easier, mostly due to the communication and information provided by Austin.

From the first phone call, I received clear and concise information. My basic questions were answered quickly and there was no fluff or sales pitch. The Mortgage Banker, Aramis Moreira, and his team were exceptional during my refinance. Aramis explained the various components that goes into the rate and terms in a clear and concise manner. I like how my loan officer was creative in customizing my loan for my individual needs. And as my needs changed during the refinance process, he was able to make adjustments to provide the best outcome for me.

Worked with Kenny Mattews and his boss Bill, for a home refinance. Things starter off well, loan sounded great. I asked to get it writing before the notary showed up at our house, to make sure everything we talked about was in the paperwork. As it was time to sign the paperwork things were not as I expected, this was the fault of both of us. I shrugged it off as an honest mistake. At this point I wanted a no cash out option, Kenny expressed to me the was a bad idea. I asked him to do it anyway, and he made up some numbers that made the offer sound terrible. At this point I felt he made it up. I asked him to send the numbers in an email, he did and magically found an error and the numbers were as I suspected. I didn't trust Kenny at this point but a good deal is a good deal. I didn't wanna hold it against FSB for one bad employee so I reach out to his boss Bill with 4 calls and a Voice-mail to see if I could get anyone else, Bill never tried to contact me back. I still pressed forward with the loan. Kenny reached out to me later saying that they could only do a cash out loan not the new no cash deal we had worked on, at this point I was done with FSB and walked away.

I was skeptical at first of using a completely online process to finance a mortgage, but I was very pleasantly surprised by how easy and yet thorough it all was. Mat Ice was helpful and knowledgeable in answering my many questions. He was also prompt in responding to me but was never pushy or overbearing. The initial disclosures he prepared for us were extremely accurate as well. We knew exactly what to expect when our final closing amounts were given to us. It helped to instill our trust in using an online bank to learn that there were no surprises or excessive fees that we weren't expecting. The closing process was also smooth and easy, and it was one of the things I was most concerned about. The notary who came to our house with our paperwork was knowledgeable and friendly, and he was just as helpful as the attorneys we are used to having at a closing. All in all, this was an excellent experience and we are glad we chose to refinance our loan with Federal Savings Bank.

Had the worst experience with any bank I have ever dealt with! My spouse and I have excellent credit and have never in the past had an issue with refinancing or purchasing a home. We wanted to do a simple VA streamline refi on our current mortgage talked to Michael Kerby who assured us he could get this done in a timely manner. Three months into the process he's not returning calls or updating us on anything. The ball was completely dropped and the loan was unable to be done because of their poor handling . Went to another bank and had our loan done in less than a month. Further more we were told we would get a full refund of the processing fee we paid upfront after having to call and remind Michael weeks later we then got a refund of a partial amount. Do not do business with Micheal Kerby at the Federal Savings bank. Lousy! Dirk Parkinson-Webb

I was originally solicited via phone call (by which I was not thrilled at first). Then man who was to become our banker was polite, knowledgable, put up with my Spanish Inquisition before we finally settled on actually doing a refinance with The Federal Savings Bank. The entire process was great. Communication was frequent and specific. The entire team was knowledgeable, friendly, and helpful. I would definitely recommend them.

Matthew and his team were amazing! When we closed on our new build it was a little bit of a struggle with a new build VA loan, but we worked through it and this time my wife and I didn't think that it could be completed any easier, but it was. I work overseas and with the retrograde of our location Matthew and his team were patient as I tried to find both printer and scanner, sometimes neither in a timely manner, but were patient and that helped relieve stress on both my wife and I. But I would say the best part was the fact that they were able to verify and approve my Power of Attorney and allow my wife to do it in my absence. ***I have had issues with other transactions for things like vehicle purchases*** I am extremely satisfied and the only thing that I would need to have completed early on is the well sample for our well water because that may be the only critical item that we could have saved a little amount of time with to close a few days earlier, but otherwise...AMAZING!!! I can not say enough positive feelings about my experience with Matthew Saba from The Federal Savings Bank in my recent Refinance of my home. Many times I had questions and he helped me think of the ways to address my thoughts. No pushing, no manipulation just letting me figure out which was the best way for me to choose what I wanted. I have been able to pay off all debts and upgrade my home like wanted.
