When my mortgage service company changed they provided an escrow analysis that reflected a home insurance payment that was almost $1,000.00 higher than the prior year. I immediately called the Clausen Agency and spoke to Kim Strayer regarding the premium increase. She explained the probable reason for the increase and suggested that she put out my policy for bid. The very next day Kim got back to me with several bids...one of which was $800.00 less than the premium I was paying. Obviously I changed carriers and thanks to Kim I am $800.00 to the better. They we’re able to sort out my issue very easily! When I called the service number for the Insurance issuer, they said the price hike had to do with a recent merger. When I called the agency (Clausen agency), a very polite and knowledgeable agent (Artis Kalivas) walked me through HIS next steps and said he would get back to me. Within 1 hour, he called and was able to reduce my premium close to $200, something the Insurance issuer didn’t even try for me! This is A+ service by Clausen Agency!

Artis Kalivas handled my recent call to the Clausen agency for an auto quote. I called because I received an email suggesting I could get a preferred policy rate because I had a home policy with you. Artis was very thorough and professional in reviewing my requirements. He made sure that the coverage provided me compared exactly with competitors so the Basis for the final quote were same. Artis spoke clearly so I understood him perfectly and I didn’t have to ask him to repeat information. Unfortunately the quote did not compare favorably with my policy so I couldn’t switch companies but it wasn’t for Artis’s lack of effort.

This agency was recommended by another agent who did not have access to flood insurance policies. I contacted them and was helped immediately by John Brizzolara. He sent quotes within a day, and has been extremely responsive to all of first-time-buyer questions and requests throughout the process. Once I decided to move forward with the policy, John made sure that everything was seamless for me. He was even able to secure a rate that was cheaper than the original quote! I received the information needed to go to closing within 3 days of agreeing to the policy. I would highly recommend the agency, and John especially, for your insurance needs.
