Last Fall, I was in search of a new and modern home within my price range. Nikki helped me with the search and quickly found a house in Alameda. Even though we are not first time homebuyers, it was helpful to have somebody I could trust by my side. She was able to provide pandemic market insights and helped us draft an offer that beat out the rest. Nikki was thorough in explaining each step of the process and walked us through all of the documents that we were required to sign. There were so many pages and it was just helpful to have a trusted individual explain real estate jargon. Nikki was also extremely responsive and diligent even throughout her pregnancy! If that is not dedication, I don't know what is! Thank you, the Cal agents! 😊

We did everything we could to submit fast. We were not informed of the ‘large number of applicants’ as mentioned in your response to the review below. It’s nice to see you’re responsive somewhere. We lost another lease because we wanted to hear back from you but your lack of communication was unprofessional. We are not upset because of your attempt to be ‘fair’ but bc we expressed how badly we wanted to move, that we put something on hold for you, we rapidly reached out to our HR to satisfy your application - all the while you failed to let us know there was already a long line - you were just collecting applications for the sake of it even though you could at least be communicative about time lines and expectations. We would have worked with you to move in sooner if you’d communicated the owners’ preference. Don’t quote a law… bc that’s not what we’re complaining about. It’s that you cost us something with your lack of transparency from the start and lack of any update until it time to notify us we’d wasted our time waiting. We emailed you repeatedly to ask but you didn’t want to tell us you were already finishing up the process of leasing to someone else.

This agency is great! I was previously looking at different apartments closer in Berkeley but they weren't super friendly nor responsive. Not the case with The Cal! Wilma Chan is insanely friendly, fast and responsive, I was trying to move within 2 weeks and they managed to get my application and lease process done within ~3 days.

Lex and Nikki were very helpful with buying of my property. They are knowledgeable about the property market in the bay area. They have gone above and beyond with their great customer service. I strongly recommend the Cal Agents Reality if you in need of finding your next house.

Extremely unprofessional. They surprise sent installation people here to wake us up at 7am without notifying of this unreasonable time when their office isn't even open? And they didn't even make sure the appointment was properly set up; thus nothing of use was accomplished? Meanwhile we have had a rancid dishwasher sitting here for months. This might even be a health concern. Clearly you knew before we even moved in which is why the agent attempted to run it while we were viewing it the first time. This is a horrible experience and reflects terribly on your agency. You should strive for better employees.

We needed to sell an Emeryville condo under some pretty challenging conditions (including being remote). Nikki and the Cal Agents team stepped up in a comprehensive, timely, and professional way to help us. With all of their in-house capabilities (repairs, staging, marketing, local building and lending knowledge, etc), they made the process seamless. Could not have done it without them and would recommend them strongly to anyone in the area.

I worked with Wilma Chan in finding a rental. Wilma was very responsive, gave great advice, and helped speed up the leasing process. I appreciated the gift basket with some move-in essentials like kitchen gloves, toilet paper, and a door stop. I have had all positive experiences with Cal Agents, especially with Wilma!

We recently purchased a cute single family house at Berkeley with Lex and Nikki. It took slightly more than a year, and it was never a simple task because of the competitive market and many surprises brought up by Covid'19. Through out the journey, they consistently provided high quality service. I am especially satisfied with their responsiveness, quick turnaround time for our requests, and meticulous work style. They were also able to provide good alternatives whenever we were stuck, and they helped me to became a better, well-informed buyer throughout the process. The Cal Agents are awesome! Especially Wilma Chan. She worked so hard and QUICKLY to get us moved into our new apartment in Emeryville. From our first walk-thru, to application, to signing the lease, she worked through the weekend to get us signed up and moved in within two days from start to finish! She’s amazing!
