I would give more than 5 stars if I was able! As a small business owner, having move to The Bank of Elk River from a large nationwide chain, I can't even explain how refreshing the experience has been. Jody and Brittany are the best tellers, Bill the COO is a pleasure to chat with, Lynn in the commercial banking is super knowledgeable and friendly, and Gina in Business Development is fantastic! I am super happy with having made the switch and I would highly recommend anyone to do the same thing!

A huge shout out to Corey Wemple and Sandy Gehring that made it so easy for me to get a recreational loan processed within two hours, working over the details on the phone and for Sandy meeting me half way to sign the loan documents and handing me the cashiers check. How many bankers would do that?? I was so impressed and greatly appreciate Sandy’s suggestion to meet. My husband and I moved out of the area but will remain banking with The Bank of Elk River as they make it so easy 😊 Thank you!! Gina

Michelle Thatcher is the absolutely the best. She is dedicated to her clients and the level of customer service is far beyond what I expected. Being able to work with the Bank of Elk River for my business needs has been great. You will not get the level of customer service at a big box bank. Highly Recommend.

I needed to open an account in preparation for running for schoolboard. I was helped out by several people who were all cheerful. They let me know what was going on and how long things would take. But the individual that spent the most time with me was Sandy Gehring, a consumer banker. She was amazing and helped me work through all kinds of government forms that perhaps “every day people” could do, but might be challenging to me. She never made me feel out of my element, which was a blessing; a gift, really. I look forward to encouraging friends and family to Bank here and will recommend the bank of Elk River often. If you do come ask for Sandy.

I worked with Sandy Gehring on several different requests. She was wonderful to work with and was very helpful. She was very prompt in her responses and attentive to all of my requests. I will continue to work with Sandy for my banking needs in the future.

Mixed reaction - the first round when Michelle helped us, it was flawless. Definitely would have been 5 stars. The second round, another individual helped us and she was totally unhelpful - we ended up going to another institution for the second round. That would have been 0 stars.

The Bank of Elk River is the best, they have taken care of ALL of our business needs. We used to bank with one of the big banks, after being fed up with a company that didn't seem to care about our business needs, we moved all our personal banking and business banking to the bank of elk river and we couldn't be happier. We have a great relationship with our commercial lender Michelle Thatcher, she's a rockstar and all the other bank of elk river employees. Anytime we need something she has always been very responsive, professional and invaluable. This has helped our business grow and we wouldn't be where we are today as a business if it wasn't for the bank of elk river. We are extremely grateful to have such a great resource and relationship. I would highly recommend them for all your banking needs.
