TD Bank S Kinderkamack Rd, Montvale

Let me start this out by saying I have been to over 100 TD bank branches for business over the last 2 years. I have never encountered such a rude staff before. Much like another review on here, I was denied service and told to go to a TD branch that "knows me better." The only problem is my home branch is over 2 hours away from there. I asked who I believe was the manager, why they were refusing to issue a certified check and she said, "too many transactions on the account." I guess this TD bank doesn't want to treat its members the right way anymore.

We just moved to town, and a staff at this branch gave me a RUDE welcome. Tried to take out some money to pay for contractors and basically was refused service. The teller told me--with a straight face--that I cannot withdraw the cash and have to present the ID which I originally opened the account with. That's a pretty ridiculous request as that was decades ago and when TD was still called Commerce. I told her that seems strange, and I had never been asked that before. She basically told me there's nothing she can do and suggest I go back to my "home branch" where they might "know" me better. So I had to drive 30 min back to my "home branch" where I withdrew the money with no questions asked. Curious, I called TD headquarters and asked if that was standard procedure, which they obviously confirmed was not. Yes, I was wearing sweat pants on the day I visited the branch. But that's no way to welcome a long time TD customer into your neighborhood. I've never had an issue with TD before and have banked with them since 2000. But the prejudiced, discriminatory staff at this Montvale branch gives TD a bad name.

Lacking drive through ATM is inconvenient.

Rude and disrespectful management. Please do yourself a favor and bank elsewhere.
