TD Bank N Washington Ave, Bergenfield

Unfortunately I am closing my account with TD because there isn’t a branch in my new state however I cannot begin to give accolades to the branch manager Dan ONeill. I was out of state in an emergency situation . Mr. O’Neill answered my call and listened carefully to my emergent matter. He offered me a solution and was able to resolve the issue with me professionally the next day and saved me from a tough situation. I cannot thank him enough. He even followed up with phone calls. True customer service to the client. Thank you Mr. ONeill.

I am a first responder/LEO. I requested a notary for work (showed my ID). The male teller was kind and said I can ask the manager when she was done helping someone. A female teller next to him (while she was helping someone) cut into our conversation and told me she was the manager today and that I can NOT have my document notarized without an account. I was made to feel this branch does NOT support first responders/LEO. TD Bank website states they notarize documents for anyone who request it. Notaries are not allowed to denied their services whether the person has an account or not. Notaries are given their power from the state (like a government official) and are liable to being sued based on discrimination. I AM NEVER COMING HERE AGAIN AND TELLING ALL FIRST RESPONDERS/LEO BEAWARE<

This bank teller tall black woman was absolutely rude and arrogant. Treated me as a black woman with zero respect. The supervisor did not help the situation. I won't be going back there ever. One star because of the male teller who was absolutely sweet.

Td has to be the worst bank of all time. Please if u wanting to make and account here don't.i just opened an account here and put my first work check in and it was put on hold for 6 business days cause they told me the funds weren't trusted.Are u kidding me i have deposited the same check at bank of America for years and never had this problem now all off a sudden its not trusted.i have bills to pay a td holding checks out here for 6 days. Please go somewhere else now I pay late fees for my bills.

I don't know what is wrong with this branch of TD Bank but every single time I go the ATM is broken no matter what any day of the week it's completely a failure. It's not convenient at all and I see everyone else has the exact same problem as me. But I haven't gone inside to deal with the rude people that everyone else seems to be complaining about. at this point it's much better for me to go to the Tenafly location never had a problem there this one always a huge wait and broken atm. Total failure

I don’t understand why this branch has such a low review score. I was in to have some documents notarized. Service rep Laura was very professional and swift. While she is working through my docs, she noticed one of the customers was struggling to understand instructions on how to change the mailing address. She goes that’s someone’s mom I need to help her. She went through my stuff and sat down patiently to help her walk the poor lady through TD App and get it done. Superb service.

Was just going in to get a certified check. The woman, who I believe is the branch manager, could not have been more rude. When your job is literally interacting with customers all day, you would think they’d hire someone with a little more grace and class. One bad apple ruins the bunch, and a lot of people who’ve reviewed this bank seem to have the same experience. Improve the customer service.

This branch used to be very accommodating and pleasant to have business with, those days are gone. My last experience was with the ATM machine being out of order for a long time in the middle of the day. In addition, some of the tellers also need to learn how to welcome customers (a little smile can make a big difference).

This TD branch is a model branch which I feel the need to give a real shout out to for outstanding customer service during a difficult time. I had to drive to NJ from Manhattan because all the branches here are closed on Saturday due to Covid and during the week only one or 2 are open and its a mess here. The first branch I went to on my trip into NJ , made up an excuse that they couldn't help me and asked me to drive back Monday ?! Then I found on Waze the Bergenfield branch, Laura was absolutely delightful, enthusiastic (and funny) and Bettina just called me to confirm my transaction. Right now it's so important to recognize employees who go above and beyond, you guys did. I may just take a trip to see you after this is all over and move my business account to TD now as well. Location matters. Received invitation and incentive to visit branch and open new account. After waiting 20 minutes, branch manager said not sure whether I qualify and promised to call me back in three days. Waited four weeks and no call back. Went to NYC branch and account with incentive was opened promptly. It's not the bank, it's the branch
