Nisa loan “specialist” Tells you things are in your loan agreement that are not there. When you ask where in the loan agreement you could find that, she puts you on hold and then tells you that you need to speak to the branch manager. Andrea, the branch manager also tells you there’s things in the agreement that are not there, again when you ask where specifically in the loan documentation she has no answer. The biggest reason for the one star is if you pay your loan payments ahead which I did, Maria happily goes in there and changes your due dates back and tells you that that’s common practice and they do not notify the consumer. My auto loan was a few months ahead and was reversed and applied to principle rendering two months payments not made. Had I not caught it in the app they told me I would’ve gotten a call two weeks after the due date with a late charge. How do I know that I have to pay for a specific month when my record show that those months were paid? Complaint has been made as this is probably illegal, if not totally unethical and irresponsible to reverse someone’s auto payments and not notify them of the new due date and let them go into default.

Worst place to have a bank account. Beyond unprofessional, I have never heard of a bank not save any documentation of important letters they "claim" to have sent out. I would never ever recommend this bank to anyone.

Worst bank there is. My wife's account got hacked into and they refused to help her out.

Horrible customer service. Find a better credit union. I called on Friday to speak with a loan officer and the rep who answered the phone was very rude and unwelcoming. She seemed like she didn’t want to speak and attempted to rush me off the phone. I explained to her that I was interested in applying for a loan and needed to speak with someone who can help me. She implied that no loan officer was available at the moment but she can transfer me to their voicemail. However, I asked if she could just take my info and have either of them return my call when they become free. She was very lazy and continued to insist I leave a message, after I explained that it would be more convenient for me if she just take my info. I’ll never use Syracuse Fire Credit Union again. Customer service just isn’t what it used to be. There are plenty of veterans returning home from war who would love that job. She should be terminated, I think her name was Michelle.

I've using as my primary bank for 5 years. Very personal banking experience, the staff here is very competent, helpful, and friendly. Great rates and specials on car loans.
