Synovus Bank East Paces Ferry Rd, Atlanta

It’s so weird in a super introvert but even these women will get you to talk. They are always extremely well dressed which I found odd because it seems effortless. Never had an issue banking here! Quick fast and efficient.

I’ve been dealing with this bank for the last 6 months and since having this account I have had nothing but issues and charges that can not be explained by neither the branch or the customer service hotline. Not to mention that the Senior Relationship Manager has the worse attitude and has no servitude to clients and expect for them to under the process of there bank without explaining anything. I have dealt with have over 39 overdraft fees and I ate the cost of each mind you there was money in the account to prevent overdraft but sadly after all of these issues I will be contacting my attorney to file a class action lawsuit because this is absolutely insane and the excessive fees are absolutely ridiculous. I can only imagine had someone had millions of dollars that would charge people fees because they don’t pay attention. I requested to speak with the branch manager three times and each time they have said he was not in the branch or in a meeting.

Omg Sherryl or Cherryl however her name is spelt was horrible at this branch! She was so condescending and acted like we were bothering her. Seriously why do people bother going to work if it's such a burden to them?!! Will i ever go to this branch again? Absolutely not, except every other synovus branches are closed.. I'll rather drive to another state just so I don't ever experience such horrible customer service!

They take very long at this bank. There was no line and MsPatrice took 30 minutes to give me a money order . My experience today was ridiculous . I no longer want to bank here no more . My money order said one amount that I didn't ask for .

I have always enjoyed my times in conducting my banking needs.. The employees are helpful, and very friendly..and I always leave feeling more than just a customer..but a friend...

Horrific customer service. Constantly having to call in to unlock my CC whenever I try to do a transaction. They flag half of my transactions for no good reason. They need an alert like every other big name bank, so I can automatically accept or decline my purchase. I tried to opt out of overdraft protection, but your options are either $36 overdraft fee if they pay the transaction, or $36 if they decline the transaction. How about an option where they just decline the transaction period! Absolutely ridiculous!!!! When I do call in they ask so many security questions that it usually takes up 90% of the phone call, instead of servicing the customer. I tried to do an address change on the many accounts I have with them, and it took over a month, and I finally had to call the branch president for it to happen. Speaking of the branch president she is very helpful....when she is available. They have her so overburdened with work, since the downsized the staff, to increase profitability. I could go on and on and on with have lackluster this bank is but I have other things to do. You may ask why don't you just go to another bank? ...I have so many accounts and business with them that it would be a full time job to make it happen. Do yourselves a favor and DON'T switch to Bank of North Georgia or Synovous which owns them.

I have been dealing with many Synovus branches through my personal and business dealings. This one has always exceeded my expectations. I have accounts at BOA and Chase and these folks always come out as more personal and friendly. I will say as a top end financial user my experience may vary wildly from someone just starting out or using it for bare minimum checking so YMMV depending on what you do with each financial institution. People are on here giving one star because they were booted after hours. I’m pretty sure it’s like every other business in Atlanta and the parking is owned/monitored by a third party. If you think you can park anywhere you want in this city carte blanche, man you’re looking for trouble. If you’re looking for a good bank that knows your name and treats you well they are very good.

Went there to cash checks written from this Bank. They charge $5 per check to cash it & didnt tell me about the fees until after they gave me the cash & I counted it & saw it was short. Smh! They also have a low max that they will give you in cash & then charge you a $7 fee to get a cashiers check for the difference. Again smh!

Drive through opens at 8:30, but good luck ever getting service at 8:30. Consistently late on opening, despite this being the only convenient time period they are open (as they have no Saturday hours).

Great walk-in service; always ready to go the extra step if I need it. Great bank branch!
