I cannot say enough good things about Jimmy Alexander. I’ve had a couple of investment properties and personal mortgages with SWBC. All my properties were done with Jimmy Alexander. He’s not only a true professional but also a sweet person that cares for his clients and quality of work. 👍🏼

I cannot praise this company enough! My husband and I have been working with them since February of this year - when our first home was being built. Heather is amazing! I have called her multiple times and not once has she made me feel like I was a nuisance and always (always) answered all my questions! Unfortunately, the home we were having built wasn’t satisfactory (major structural issues) and when we had to make a choice on what to do next, within hours, Jimmy made sure we were taken care of (at the time Ms. Heather was out of the office). I wouldn’t hesitate to work with this company again (if I ever had to), but most importantly I would recommend anyone to them! They have made this entire process smooth, especially when things got a little bumpy! Thank you, SWBC team!

I honestly can’t believe how bad this company is. As a realtor, I work with title companies often. I trusted my realtor when I moved here on this company, but even he has stopped using them. I was attempting to do a simple thing and switch my homeowner’s insurance. The insurance company attempted to do the switch themselves to make it easy. They contacted me when SWBC had still not switched the payment over to them. I called SWBC no less than 4 times and emailed them no less than 3 times over the span of 2 weeks with everyone stating that they’ll be expediting the process to make sure my policy isn’t canceled. In the end, I had to pay the annual rate myself and I’m hoping that SWBC stops the payments to my other company I’m no longer using sometime so that I can get my money back. Their customer service is hit and miss as well in terms of politeness. In terms of effectiveness though, I think it’s clear to say nobody there can actually help you. We use First Community Title for our brokerage now instead if you’re wondering.

Two years ago I needed a co signer to spend cash. My wife and I had been renting for years. After the last 5 years of renting our house in Belton, I decided to try and finally buy our first home. We both had great jobs and income, however many years of bad choices and bad credit I wasn’t expecting to find anyone to help us. My first enquiry in February or 2017 was as expected, we were not in a position to get a home due to poor credit score. Leslie Lovett our contact at SWBC was very helpful and gave us great advice and got us in contact with a credit specialist. I am here to tell you in April of 2018 after over a year of fixing our credit and many weeks of paperwork and MANY phone calls Leslie was AMAZING and helped my wife and I realize our dream of owning our home. We now live in a beautiful home and we owe everything to Leslie’s patience and guidance in realizing our dream. The swbc support line causes people to get notice after notice of non paid taxes. There wait time to hear from them is like 10 days and hold on the phone is 15 minutes at best to speak to a supervisor. They tell u to send an email you do and they do nothing. Then when you to complain.

I'm really feeling some type of way about this company and African American veterans. Me and my wife checked our credit scores. I'm the veteran my scores was higher but this company put my scores as hers. I feel like it's something behind this situation. Are they surprised a African American male raising his score's. I might have to hire someone to look into this situation

Dave and Jimmy were great to work with and answered all of our questions. We bought our home over a year ago and when we were shopping mortgages I asked them why I should go with them and one of the selling points was that my mortgage would not be sold. I just got a notice it was sold. Not only that I got the notice on 22 OCT and have to send my Nov. payment to the new mortgage company, but I have no communication from the new mortgage company telling me how to submit my payment. Getting the mortgage and working with Jimmy and Dave and their team was great. Once it went to their corporate office not so much.

SWBC in Killeen is the preferred lender for Lake Pointe in Temple, Texas. I'm extremely disappointed in this company. I am a student at Baylor and my husband is a sergeant. They got my hopes up for purchasing my first home with my husband (we are both in our early 20s and have been married for nearly 2 years). We were told about the VA loan and we chose this company because allegedly Jimmy is really good at those. Apparently, there is pretty much no one who has ever used a VA loan and also had student loans because this was a disaster. I want to be completely transparent in that I have about $60,000 in both private and government loans for 4 years of college at university. It is a lot, but I want to become a doctor one day and have one year of undergrad left. I also know that the average is around $45,000 per person with student loans. This shouldn't be brand new and confusing to a "professional." I followed their odd directions about contacting some third party and gave them my social security number to verify something that still didn't meet their SWBC specific requirements. I honestly get the feeling that they did not want to give us the loans, anyway, because when I tried to ask extremely specific questions through both e-mails and in person, I was just told that I am wrong and don't know what I'm talking about. Today, when I tried to discuss this, they asked me to leave and I can only assume that they will cancel MY mortgage application because THEY don't know how to handle anyone with student loans. I pay all my loans ON TIME (and have since my very first payment in 2014); I know what I'm getting myself into, and I did everything they asked me. Warning to all of you with student loan debt! Chose your own bank over these people. Do yourself the favor. Don't let these people get your hopes up for nothing. You'd be better off giving your money to someone who has experience with people under the age of 55.

They are doing an excellent job providing my son a loan for his new duplex. They are always available to assist him and answer his questions.

The process was seamless and I have to give a mention to Leslie and Rhina for assisting me with everything i needed. They were constantly in touch and always available to help me with questions making the whole process enjoyable. I felt well informed and non hesitant with my decision.
