I am a sushi/food fanatic and I wish all the best to the new owners here. The guy who answered the phone was a sweetheart but the food just wasn’t right. I spent $74 in sushi and unfortunately it was awful. 🥺 The rice tasted like it was jam packed (“smooshed”) and the salmon tasted like it was sitting out for awhile. I tried to cover the taste with spicy Mayo and eel sauce but it didn’t help. The sushi looks beautiful and well put together 👍🏻 But the taste and quality just wasn’t right. Blessings to the new owners 🙏🏻 I hope everything works out for you guys.

Awesome owners, always quick to answer with call in orders and friendly on the phone and friendlier in person. Sushi is delicious and tastes almost refreshing if that makes sense. Veggie fried rice is well cooked and flavorful. If you're in the Lake Dallas area and like sushi, it is always a good choice.

So, I backtracked 6 miles seeing this place on Google map. However I get there it’s 90° outside and he’s got the door open working with raw fish in the heat. And you think I want to eat that? I couldn’t honestly tell you if their sushi is any good or not because I turned around and left when I experienced a room the size of a closet with a single employee working with raw fish in the 90° heat no thank you.

Delicious. I cannot wait to return! They have an extensive roll menu that I plan on exploring. It’s easy to pass on the road, but please give this place a shot. Good service and food!

I ordered a Cali roll and steamed dumplings. Both were fresh and yummy tasting. There's a few tables inside so you can eat in, but this is mainly a to-go kind of restaurant.

The employees here are super friendly and the sushi was great! I’ll be back for sure. Tried the Tiffany roll and was so so delicious! Sashimi was also very fresh.

Great place, just off main road. Found by accident and I am so happy we did. Food prepared with care. Fresh delightful, great presentation. Give them a try you won't be sorry.

The best volcano roll around! They are always friendly when you arrive. if you want good sushi, give them a call!

The 2 men at the counter were very nice and professional. For this being a small take out style restaurant the sushi here is exceptional. I had the krunchtime fitness roll and the spicy tuna roll. They were both amazing. I will definitely be coming back when I'm in the area.

Delicious! So good I forgot to take pictures before we ate everything. The service was fantastic. I had vegetable fried rice and an avocado roll. My family also had the California roll, a volcano roll, and a few others.

Here’s what!! If anyone doesn’t say “OMG” on their first bite, you shouldn’t be eating sushi. There’s nothing but top chef here. I couldn’t asked for a better sushi place, this is the place to be !! Also, the menu is huge, I guarantee you will have more than one favorite.

So friendly and personable! They we’re patient when I was ordering on the phone. When we got there they gave my young daughter so much attention. They made us feel so welcomed and cared for! The food is absolutely amazing! Best sushi and fried rice we have ever had! Such a gem to have in our neighborhood!

This place always has great service and food. The ingredients taste fresh and the sushi is high quality. The price for the food is the best I can find especially for that quality as well. Highly recommend this place to anyone who likes sushi

Q Sushi (formerly known as Chop Chop Sushi) did NOT disappoint! Today was the first time we’ve been back since it’s been under new ownership/management. The service was friendly and prompt. The food was delicious! Better than before even. Large portions of perfectly prepared dishes. The tempura and shrimp fried rice were authentic like homemade. I’m so glad we ignored the negative reviews we read online. We will definitely be frequenting this establishment!

I go to Sushi Q every Friday as a post-workout meal to treat myself. The guys here are always friendly and very customer service-oriented. They literally hand my card back to me as if it's on a silver platter. Not to mention, the food is always A1 and I never had any issues. I would recommend this to anyone that wants good local sushi. They definitely deserve the support of our community, because they are worth it.

First time ordering from here and they were absolutely amazing! My wife called first to confirm how many pieces come in an order and they were very nice over the phone. Small place but very nice staff! And sushi was great! Will definitely try and order here again!
