My experience with Sunlight Financial/Freedom Solar was exceptional. The process in total was about 3 months. Team Top Gun was sent out to install my solar panels . The aesthetic is clean and the panel cluster is neat and secluded. You can’t even tell I have panels off the street as they are organized solely on the rear of my home. I’ve been in service now for about two weeks relative to solar power. So we’ll see how it goes and in about a year I’ll know my savings if any at all.

One thing I like my solar system, no worries on our electric usage, on either the heater or air conditioning systems runs 24/7. The processing, financing and installation was amazing, within 2 months the systems already running smoothly. Sales Rep, and all technical personnel involved in the installation of our solar systems were all professional and knowledgeable on their duties. I highly recommend their financing, I got zero (0) interest rate for 10 years.

The process of having our roof replaced was quick but the we did have a couple of issues with the crew that replaced it. The flashing and finish work was done poorly and needed redone, there was also pieces of shingles and nails left in our trees and our yard, and pieces of shingle needed to be retrieved from the radon pipe that comes out at roof level. The installation of the solar panels was also quick but then it took 4-5 months painfully going back and for with power home solar and the electric company to have the wiring approval sent over from the inspection to be given permission to energize. We spent a lot of hours on hold and confused about how this entire process works with finally being given permission to operate and use the panels that we paid for. We also referred a friend timely and through the correct ways that has also had panels installed and in use but we have not yet seen the referral bonus promised after multiple emails and phone calls. Overall this was a frustrating experience but happy to have solar panels after it is all said and done.

Could not be more excited and thrilled with the decision to go solar with Sunlight! Going solar has been something I have been looking into for over 2 years. In fact, before discovering Sunlight I almost went with a different solar company...I am so thankful my intuition poked its head out and I discovered Sunlight. I am so excited to start saving money on my electric bill and highly recommend you use this great company to help you save money and experience the great service you expect and deserve from a company.

From beginning to end I found this experience one of the best I've had in the over 50 years of owning this house. The inspector who initially came was a professional who knew her business. Taking photographs of the water damage was a great help in deciding to go with the new roof. Her explanation of the new roofing materials used by Dream Home was a positive eye opener for me. The day of the install, everything went smoothly. The workers were professional, courteous, and conscientious. And my new roof was truly a dream one. The difference it has made to the look and feel of my home is amazing. Just drive by and look. I can truly see this roof lasting 50years and long out lasting me.

We love the new roof!!! It got tested twice this week by wind gusts up to 50mph. The crew was amazing. They worked together well, the first day with 20 degrees +wind chill and snow. They finished it in 2 days. And cleaned up!! Yes, we would recommend!! Bill and Sharon House.

My experience was great. I had some questions about my loan and the lady listened and then gave me the detailed answers that I needed. She was professional, efficient, and knowledgeable, and I truly felt that she was concerned about my concerns. How refreshing. Great experience and I did not have to wait but a minute or so to get to speak to her. Yay, no endless waiting while having to listen to the robot lecture you about nothing you want to hear. Poor experience. They continued to request documents that were unnecessary or didn't exist for months to process this loan. After the fifth or so time explaining to them that the documents they were requesting either had already been provided or didn't exist they relented. Then they wanted to run a repeat credit check because they had caused such a delay that the initial check was too old. Our solar installation was delayed by multiple months because of all this. I was happy with the rate we got for the loan but I'm sure we could have had a similar rate elsewhere without all the hassle.

Finance application was quick and easy. Everyone we interacted with was friendly and helpful. Communication was clear and there were no delays with financing or our home improvement project. We would definitely recommend and use Sunlight Financial again in the future if needed!

I have wanted to purchase solar energy for my home for a while now but didn't think that I could afford it, after all, it is a big investment. After finding the best solar company to do the job, I was only half way to my dream goal, I still had the financial hurdle to make. Sunlight was awesome from start to finish! It took only seconds to see if I pre-qualified, and minutes to get approved for my loan. Customer Service is very knowledgeable, friendly and helpful. Now I have my home being fitted for solar! In order to get our financing without having to delay this is what was offered. For someone with an excellent credit score, the rate was really high, and the steps to just see documents without printing or saving somewhere is a bit ridiculous. It is a security measure but is very tedious. Will be looking into other financing issues once we have time to look around. It will do while we shop around and we didn't have any issues getting the financing in a timely manner.

It went very smooth. Treated with respect, which is not always done with older folks. Know very quickly whether you qualify or not was the cherry on top. Knowing that quickly cuts the stress way down. Would recommend your commonly to others.

We were in need of a roof, quickly! It was January in upstate NY. We met with a couple of the team members of Erie and before the end of January we had our roof. They were straight forward, Very professional, the material is beautiful, cost efficient and took the worry away for the next 30 years. I would recommend them all day long!

The process was relatively simple. We were approved for the loan for our solar system within minutes. The payment comes out automatically so all I have to do is make sure the money is there. They've been easy to work with friendly and helpful.

Awful company to deal with. Had our roof replaced and financed with this company. Have made four payments, with the last one to pay it off in full so we wouldn't have to deal with them anymore. Every month was an issue with our electronic payment. Their payment system is terrible, customer service also terrible and rude. Asked to speak with supervisor, twice now and told they would have to call me back and never did. I am owed a refund of almost $200 after my pay off and I'm being told 60 days for refunds. Excuse me, 60 days?? Unacceptable in my opinion. ***Update*** I had already called the number listed below by Sunlight Financial but I called it again and was told the same thing. Nothing they can do.***

We were very pleased with the professionalism of the installation crew. Also, they answered our questions and the installation was flawless. Everyone that we spoke with on the phone was courteous and helpful. We will recommend Erie without reservation.

Terrible experience with Tesla solar installation financed by Sunlight Financial. The panels were installed appropriately 18 months ago, and soon thereafter I began repaying Sunlight Financial as I was obligated to do. However, 18 months later, I still do not have solar energy because Tesla has failed to submit the correct paperwork to my utility company and has delayed time after time correcting its error. I have therefore been paying for 18 months a loan without receiving any benefits, and the warranty on the unusable solar panels continues to run. Manny G.

It's really too soon to judge. Our application was reviewed and accepted very quickly. We had some simple errors, I guess, on the paperwork and trying to correct it seemed to be a big fiasco. They said they were sending us paperwork that we really were not getting. It was very confusing, but ultimately all worked out well. I'm assuming our issues were very random and coincidental. We are still hopeful that there will be no issues moving forward.

I used this company to finance my solar panels. Good rates, easy transaction. There could've been some more proactive and periodic comms regarding the loan, as the process of installation through start-up was rather long. But everything settled well in the end.

Sales representative, Steve has been very informative and along side every step of the way. I feel very comfortable calling him with any questions or concerns. The install team was very professional, prompt and informative. The household energy check was done by Ken. He was prompt, friendly, informative and did his job very professionally. We just got our roof replaced about a week ago and working with Sunlight Financial and Erie homes was fantastic. From the moment that the Salesman from Erie Home came to our house and did all the measurements and showed us what type and colors of roofing were available to us and then giving us our estimate to then getting an answer from Sunlight Financial about financing to then scheduling the time to get the work done took about two to three hours! I was really surprised. And when the workers showed up and had the whole job done including the cleanup in one day just floored me! and our house looks great!! Working with these companies was a great experience.

The worst experience with them. They never showed up at my house to answer my questions. They told me that I would only pay one electricity bill and I have been paying double for 2 months and that is because they barely connected them after 4 months of installing my panels. The sellers convinced me with lies and now no one can help me, I am in a 25-year contract and I feel totally cheated. I definitely do not recommend this company.

Avoid them as they work with solar companies and put clause like you need to repay your loan even if you don't get electricity from the panels so you have to pay electricity bills and loan bill till your electricity moves to solar they say that COVID delayed everything but cannot credit me Also they send their docs via DocuSign and if by mistake you select option 2 the rate is more by 0.5 percent and they cannot do anything Ridiculous as they never sent paperwork and someone stands in your head to get it signed Please avoid palmetto and them it's painful process I did contact your customer service but they said they cannot help. So not sure whom else to contact

Sunlight Financial made the process painless and quick. I set up auto pay on their website with no difficulties. Pleasure doing business with an outstanding company. I would recommend them to anyone.

Jose and Jarvis were Dreamstyle employees who installed our shower. They were great. Sunlight Financial not so great as loan was passed off to unheard of credit union, All In. No one notified us about a change in lender and we had to call a representative from Sunlight to find out this little detail.

We had our downstairs bathroom remodeled. All Seasons did a magnificent job followed by the completion of the paperwork in an professional manner. We were impressed by the ease of the transaction in such a timely manner. We would definitely consider using Sunlight Financial again

My solar experience has been less than stellar to say the least. I’m leaving a one star review because I cannot leave anything less. My journey started in April of 2021 when I signed a sales agreement with Vision Solar. Solar panels were installed without a permit in June of 2021 and during the process we had significant roof damage. It has been a year of weekly calls of one way communication, by which I mean I was the one constantly calling and following up. The list of excuses, misinformation, and empty promises through this process is rather lengthy. I’ll save you the details here but realize there are many. My panels were finally put into service a couple of days ago, June 17, 2022. To date, my roof still has not been repaired. There are many other solar companies, choose another. Knowing what I know now, I would pick up some day labor at Circle K and try to do it myself. Atleast that way, my results would mirror my expectations.

I can say the quickest and easiest application I have ever gone thru. The communications via email is top notch. Now waiting for the statement to come in and will up date review. I can say if you need new air and your ac company goes thru this company the go for it.

SunPro was an amazing company to work with. They took care of everything from beginning to end. Every question we had, was answered quickly and appropriately. We have had our panels for a little over 2 months and have seen a 90% decrease in our energy bill!!! If you are thinking about getting solar panels SunPro is the company to go with!

Kind of strange when the only time a company reached out is for a review! I called last week to ask some straightforward questions about payment terms, the perdón I spoke to could not locate my account. He had me call another number and I requested an automated call back-I still have not received a call So no, overall I am not impressed. Hopefully things will be clear at some point

From Start to Finish...My salesman Drew McGrady explained all about windows to me. I learned so much! I asked for a quote to find how much putting new windows in my home would be, knowing I could never afford it. Drew quoted me an amount that WAS affordable. I was surprised. It took a while for the windows to be made and come in, but once they got to the office, I was on the schedule!! Don was a great installer. He explained how my new windows worked, and cleaned up great afterwards. My biggest window was cracked when it got to my house. I got a phone call from the office to let me know they will order it and will get it in as soon as possible. I have told many friends about Castle Centurion Exteriors and will continue to tell people. Thank you!!!

This company is charging .5% if you dont provide them a voided check with your contract. It's a great way for them to make money without lifting a finger- very predatory. In addition, if you ask questions about data privacy in the way that they answer the phone and verify you, they will get very unhappy with you. In asking to solve the above problem as well as pointing that out, I was promised a manager, then put on hold forever. Avoid Sunlight Financial and anyone they do business with.

This Company does excellent work! I am very please with my installed solar system. Everything that they promised they delivered!! I recommend Freedom Solar to anyone looking for a great solar system!!

Terrible. Continually ask me to review without even servicing me. They also don't even have an app that is seperate from the web. So I have to sign on through the email system. Not to mention the panels installed by Sigura was completely screwed up and not generating the correct amount of kWh. Lots of frustration.

Sun Financial began billing and collecting even though the solar panel system was not fully installed (parts installed were broken). So although the contract says they will not begin billing service until the product is installed, they do not take into consideration if the product is installed properly or if it is working. It is like making car payment for a car that does not run. HOW DOES THAT MAKE SENSE?

I'm selling my home. This company placed a subordination lien which caused a lessening the equity in the home by the loan amount. I'm losing 15k in equity, even though the buyers are agreeing to take over the loan and already have a pre-approval. Literally nothing is changing for them other than who pays every month, yet they've essentially stolen $15,000 from us. Do not use this company. And no, other companies don't do this. Just them. Other companies place a UCC lien, which can be temporarily closed for home closing, then put a new one on so you don't suddenly lose equity.

Solar system installers were great but that’s not Sunlight Financial. I told Sunlight from the beginning that I wouldn’t do auto payments. I’d rather pay higher interest. I’ve received 2 emails per week from them for months saying ACTION REQUIRED that I must sign up for automatic payments or be charged 1/2% higher interest which I’d rather pay. When I get my actual loan docs from Corning Credit Union they are immediately forcing automatic payments. Only 2 check payment coupons with a warning they will not issue more. $10-$15 fee for every online payment that’s not automatic withdrawal. I own 4 businesses & deal with many financial institutions & this is the worst experience I’ve had.

All Sunlight did for us was finance our solar loan. When signing initial documents there was glitch and would not let me finish. After a few weeks it was finally able to sign. Then all they did once they did our loan is out source it to a small credit union in Alabama (I live in California) without any notifications. That credit union then made me open a savings account. Not happy about that as I thought I would be working solely with Sunlight.

Awesome super professional company from the installation and setup every contractor was awesome. Andrew Lunn the sales representative is super helpful friendly and knowledgeable he will answer any and all questions on your solar needs.

The process with them to get loan wasn't the issue. They sold our loan to a credit union where the credit union charges $8 every time you want to make a payment. That is the issue. Really frustrated and disappointed with that since Sunlight offers you a loan and automatic payments but then turn around and sell the loan to someone that will charge and Sunlight won't let you know.

Our experience with Sunlight was absolutely great. They kept us informed throught the entire process. Installation was a breeze and staff was fantastic!

Sold my solar system loan way before the system was done. It’s still not done but I have to pay on the loan. Called them but they were no help. I wouldn’t work with them again.

I needed a loan for a new roof. Sunlight Financial was so easy to work with. The approval was quick, approved in a few minutes. It was almost effortless, even sign online like DocU sign. The terms of the loan were good as well. Very explanatory and easy understandto .

Application for solar loan was easy. Fill in the vital info required for the loan. then later once loan application is approve, will send you a docusign documents to sign electronically no need to drive to a location for signing. It’s that easy. The loan application get sent to a bank for financing, mine was sent to a Credit Union Bank with auto pay (ACH) who pays the solar installer and all the hardware used.

We are satisfied with the completion of our project sunlight Financial gave us an excellent yearly rate an allowed us to installed a new roof and gutters. thank you

LIES....they do not provide the rebates they claim they will. I've had my solar almost 2 years now & still...no rebate!!! They claim it's "lost in the mail"...provided ACH payment info & this FINANCIAL company can't even handle making an ACH payment. I guess that's lost in the mail too.

Our All Weather Seal windows were installed on Thursday, December 23 by a very sufficient group of installers which included two adults and two young men (sons of one of the adult installers) and the group was at our house as promised at 8:20 AM and finished and left approximately 11:00 AM. What a surprise that they could do 5 windows in such a short time! They even helped us move a heavier item to and from its normal position to gain easier access to the window spaces.

Having to have your roof replaced is a stressful experience for a homeowner, especially a first time one. The entire team made the process so much easier, from merchandising/advertising breakdown of how the process would go and the layers they use and why they use them. The financial team to make sure everything is budget friendly and works best for the customer. The construction team was amazing and made sure everything was done perfectly, even with unexpected bumps in the road. To the warranties and promotions offered. Everyone was so great, answered any and all questions thoroughly and made sure we were very pleased with our beautiful new roof.

It’s funny how taking someone’s money / setting up a loan is the only smooth part of the process. Not sure how all the company names work either… this is the financial parent of Sunpro/ Engerypro? Install of my solar panels was the only pleasant portion. Everything else I felt very uneasy after failed attempts to hook up thermostats, upgrade my home electrical and pass inspections. I had to cancel several parts due to loss of trust with company and be over involved in things I know nothing about. I am hopeful for a good working relationship in the further but can only suggest to others to do their research. I was very disappointed.

Thorough sales team that addressed any questions I had with a savvy presentation that gave my options. Great project management with clear expectations shared about the project timing and phases. Any delays were clearly communicated, and I was able to move things along via my Alderperson's office during the permitting phase. Great installation team that were professional, friendly, and respectful of the property. The system is working great. Love the monitoring app, and the ability to see how each panel is functioning. The financing they offered was also really affordable.

Do not use Sunlight Financial as your solar installation financing. They are terrible with customer service. One would expect after spending close to $70k on a project, the financing company could answer some simple questions, but no. Throughout the project there was little to no communication. There's probably better companies out there. They even cut down the wrong tree in our yard to "help" the panels after we complained about underperforming output.

They helped me with a loan that I needed at a time I really needed when I had been previously turned down by another lender. Sometimes we have credit issues but have good income. Lenders make decisions related to your reports not if your able to pay them

I’m a little disappointed. The solar panels and the equipment is good, but the customer service on the financial side not so good. They did the loan and put a lien on my home before they even finished the project. I had to pay an additional $250 so they didn’t mess up my second mortgage that was paying for my renovations because they filed their claim before they were done. They did nothing to reimburse me for the extra cost. They were interested in getting paid before they finished the job more than they were interested in doing the job right. I’m still waiting on their technician to come out and turn on the system even though it’s been supposedly finished for three weeks. Trying to get help has been a joke.

Recent purchasers of solar panels for our home. So far, Sunlight Financial has made it super easy to finance the solar panels. They are taking care of applying for our financial incentives with the appropriate governing bodies. While I'm sure I could have done it on my own, it has been well worth it having experts on our side.

Very easy and nice people to work with. You will pay more with a low score, but they work with you and give you the opportunity to even get credit. Thank you very much!

It's so hard to pay my online bill every month. The link they sent me in my first email no longer works. I click on so many Google links. I don't want to sign up for auto pay because I like to pay more then the bill. When I figure out the website to use I never remember it the next month. IT SUCKSSSS AND VERYYY STRESSINGGG!!!

This is the worst experience I have ever had. Sunlight funded my solar project. The solar company went bankrupt before it was finished. Now I’m stuck with a solar loan. No federal credit and a electric bill. Stay away

Haven’t dealt with anyone from Sunlight to be able to give any sort of review. But I am hopeful for the experience in which one can be hopeful in a relationship between a lender and a client.

Putting on a new roof and went with Sunlight for financing. The application was unique as it asked questions only I knew the correct answers. Some went many years back. I felt it was rather thorough to confirm it was actually me ! It did not take long to apply. I was approved in the most minimal time and right away the installation for my new roof was being scheduled and completed. The whole process was completed very quickly!!!

It took like 8 months to turn on ran my credit twice and final it should turn on. Also the sale person Anthony peramo has been really helpful.

They were very easy to deal with. The loan that they arranged came through as promised, it matched up exactly with what my salesperson at Moxie Solar told me it would be. And on top of it, they were running a program where they gave me a rebate of 6 months of my monthly payment. I would not recommend this company., I applied for a loan for some solar improvements on my house. After I received an e-mail that my loan had been approved I was contacted by the contractor that Sunlight wanted to speak to me about my loan. I called Sunlight and they wanted to verify my identity by asking me some questions about my credit report.Even though the work being done was done at the house we've owned over 10 years. I said OK but I really didn't have good information as my wife usually handled the bills and had passed away last year. They insisted we continue. We went through a series on questions with them waiting for me to dig through files. After we were through was the typical anything else I can help you with questions in which I relied no. I didn't much care about the loan since it was only really a bridge loan . Hours later after five on a Friday night I got another call. This was a "Courtesy call" to see if I had any questions about the loan. My reaction was "Shouldn't you have called and asked this BEFORE the loan was final? Apparently that is not the procedure. I grew increasingly suspicious about the call. This was beginning to seems like some sort scam to to and told the representative as much. Shortly after that the representative hung up. Which is not something a finance company would do to a client. At this point I called the contractor and told them what happened and promised I would go to my bank on Monday and either get a loan or simply pay in cash. They said they would call Sunlight and try to find out what happened. Skip to Monday. I contacted my bank and had a loan in 20 minutes with just one phone call. I would recommend avoiding this company.

poor management of loan, for instance slow to no notification of loan progress and start of loan payment was only triggered by our selecting another lender. Interest payment required for closing even though loan never really serviced. All this did not deter my enthusiasm for installation of the solar roof, but it did delay the approval by the electric grid company. These were not fatal flaws, but severlal months of delays in full operation of the roof.

Be prepared to verify the initial credit verification by verifying the verification everyday for a week after your credit has been verified. Also, be sure to know the exact balance on all of your credit loans & why they were issued.

I just got a delinquent account notice from this ridiculous incompetent company, on Christmas Eve. Merry Christmas from these idiots. I checked the email and bank account info days before the payment was due. They have the account number, and there was $709 more in the account than the payment amount on the day it was scheduled. So now 5 days after they didn't get it right they are reniging on their payment contact, threatening my ability to keep myself in my home. What a terrible thing to do!

They were slow and made a lot of promises they couldn’t. Keep. They damaged my roof when they did their installation and took two tries and three months to fix it. I was having to start payments way before the system is up and fully running. So very disappointed and would never recommend them.

I was told that complete installation would be 5 days, and even though I instructed SunPro not to start until they had everything needed to complete the project, It took 8 months! It was extremely difficult to actually speak to a person of which they still could not answer my questions nor give me a day when the each step would be done until I finally got ahold of someone higher up in August and my contact person changed 4 times. A Even then it still took to the 6th of December to finish the project. Communication it not SunPro’s strong points not only with its customers, but also within their company. I have wanted solar panels/power for many years and was so excited in the beginning. But the experience was so horrifying and stressful that I wished I had never done it. I only hope that the benefits of going solar will bring back some peace of mind. I definitely would not recommend SunPro for installation.

We used sunlight financial for our solar panel installation with Arizona Solar Wave. First, I was really delighted at the interest rate we were offered and their program that refinances the principle after 15 months so you have time to receive the federal rebate and apply it to your principle. It is a really brilliant idea and I love that I don't have to pay interest on that rebate amount for the life of the loan. They really streamlined the information and signatures they required. Everything was digital, which makes it so easy (and safe in times of COVID). The web portal is easy to use and it was a snap to set up automatic payments. I wish all of my financial needs were taken care of as easily. Highly recommend.

My windows came in they r beautiful they installed them they look lovely but I wonder about our sales rep Shelia who said they would be installed by Nov 21 and its Feb 22. We had our roof, gutters, and gutter guards replaced or installed. We believe the quality and price of our purchase, was reasonable and the differences in products were very well explained. We were really surprised and educated on the many products available on the market. We did what is considered the norm and received several estimates. Hansons wasn't the cheapest nor the most expensive, but the sales person, was knowledgeable and honest about what to expect. The one constant with the sales person, was no negative responses about products or competitors, we were honest and open about all our quotes. Our sales person and the corporation were willing and able to make on the spot decisions about prices and products. The quality is very noticeable and everything looks great, any questions or concerns during and after completion were addressed immediately. It was my request for a representative to come out and inspect the project after completion, during that inspection, all our concerns during initial estimate were reviewed, and before leaving our representative walked our property line with a magnet, to insure no nails or debris were left behind. So would we use again Yes!!!

We just got our roof replaced about a week ago and working with Sunlight Financial and Erie homes was fantastic. From the moment that the Salesman from Erie Home came to our house and did all the measurements and showed us what type and colors of roofing were available to us and then giving us our estimate to then getting an answer from Sunlight Financial about financing to then scheduling the time to get the work done took about two to three hours! I was really surprised. And when the workers showed up and had the whole job done including the cleanup in one day just floored me! and our house looks great!! Working with these companies was a great experience.

Great loan provider for Solar Financing. Really easy to work with, I've had zero issues with any aspect of Sunlight Financial so far. They have more than reasonable rates and I can't see myself ever wanting to work with anyone else for financing my projects.

Took a little over 7 months to complete the installation. Spoke to multiple people during this time to try to check on the progress. Communication was definitely not a big deal for them, as I would have to constantly be calling to check if inspectors would be showing up at my door or if some worker would be needing access to the back yard. I have communicated to them that per the city of phx inspector there should be no cords touching the roof as its a fire hazard....after 1 month cords are still there. Had to take multiple days off of work to be at home for inspections which were then rescheduled because installation was not properly completed. Not sure that I would recommend to others, as the entire process was pretty stressful

They said they didn't receive it, so I sent it in again. This went in for a while before I reached out to my solar company for help. I even emailed sunlight Financial themselves. I kept getting emails that they received my email, but no reason on why they weren't receiving my voided check. AFTER the deadline. My solar company got back to me to let me know sunlight financial said, I wouldn't be getting the discounted interest rate, because sunlight financial needed more information on the voided check that my bank gave me. They had months to let me know that they needed a more specific voided check than what they asked for, however they just choose to act like they never received it.

I knew it would take ttime but was surprised that it took so long from contracting with Current Home. They kept me updated but the permitting phase was several instances of having to go back and submit more forms. Got me approved for my home project within minutes. Easy on-line access and loan review. Trying to get through on the customer service number was a bit challenging so I contacted the Project Manager on my project instead. That seemed to work. Otherwise, highly recommend.

I had a shower installed in place of the tub through Taylored Roofing and remodeling. The actual time it took was 3 months and Bernard Wozniak did a great job installing it. Getting the loan through Sunlight Financial was easy I was approved in minutes and I would recommend them to anyone needing their services.

Very easy to deal with. Processing the online loan documents was easy and fairly efficient. I financed a siding job. I had plenty of time to inspect the job before I agreed to releasing the funds. I delayed approval until some issues with the contractor were resolved, which was very easy to do.

My solar experience has been less than stellar to say the least. I’m leaving a one star review because I cannot leave anything less. My journey started in April of 2021 when I signed a sales agreement with Vision Solar. Solar panels were installed without a permit in June of 2021 and during the process we had significant roof damage. It has been a year of weekly calls of one way communication, by which I mean I was the one constantly calling and following up. The list of excuses, misinformation, and empty promises through this process is rather lengthy. I’ll save you the details here but realize there are many. My panels were finally put into service a couple of days ago, June 17, 2022. To date, my roof still has not been repaired. There are many other solar companies, choose another. Knowing what I know now, I would pick up some day labor at Circle K and try to do it myself. Atleast that way, my results would mirror my expectations.

Sunlight financial has recieved 3 payments from me I still do not have solar power. I feel like a bought a car have to make a payment and don't have the car. I should not have to pay for something that I don't have. The financial company does not care about anything but taking my money. I'm not getting what they financed me for. The solar company really sucks. My part was to have a good credit score and make payments. I have made 2 payments for nothing and still have to pay for the electric bill. 6 months have gone by. I'm ready to get a Lawyer.

The loan is under my name. I am responsible for it, yet they let the solar company receive an extension since that company couldn't get their act together in a timely manner, without letting me know. But when I called to have it extended after paying for 4 months of both regular power and this loan back and explained what was going on with the solar company and lack of communication, they told me there is nothing they could do for me. Not sure how they can give a 3rd party an extension without letting the person who is actually paying for the loan a heads up but they did. Seem a little suspect to me considering its my loan and they let someone else change the terms without my knowledge. ***UPDATE***. After reaching out to the number provided, I explained what was going on, and after a few phone calls back and forth I was able to get the extension.

We were very pleased with Sunlight Financial's process on financing our TESLA solar installation. Communication was A+++! Not only was their email communication great but when I had to speak with them on the phone it was refreshing to be able to get a hold of someone rather quickly.

No because of the SunPro Company, which did everything wrong with my solar panels and the way they did the contract with Sunlight Financial. Very dishonest contract which was back dated 20 days of original signiture and how Sunlight Financial separated themselves from the Solar Panel company. I have never done business with such dishonest people in my life, but I see comments on line how I am not the only one who gets stuck with a payment for no services.

This company is by far the worst. The solar company "Cleantech" installed the solar panels without getting any clearance from my electric company. They started the application, never finished.. went bankrupt before it was finished and no one ever called me to notify me. I had to call MULTIPLE times just for them to tell me they cannot help and my solar panels are just sitting on my roof not installed. Now I’m stuck with a solar loan. I want these solar panels GONE. Stay far far away from this company.

We had our solar array installed a few weeks ago. Throughout the entire process our salesman, Bryan was on hand to answer any concerns or questions we may have had. We were walked through both the financial process and and installation process. The communication is fairly seamless and responsive.

The contract that I signed stated that the contractor that sold me the panels would get 30% at time of signing, another 60% when the job was permitted and the remaining 10% when the job was completed. YOU gave the contractor 100% the day I signed and here it is, over ONE YEAR later and after making payments for 10 months I MIGHT have Solar Power as of yesterday. YOU shouldn't have given the entire $40,931.00 until the job was done.

My loan documents I signed say the start date on payments is sometime in the future. I had set up automatic payments through my bank. They started pulling money right away instead of the promised date. I will probably end up transferring this loan to my credit union. Life is too short to deal with simple things like this. I will not recommend. Beware.

The agent who soId me the roof gave me samples all parts and explained very thouroughly what to expect. I chose the color of the shingles. I am very pleased with the new roof. The old roof was removed and thrown on tarps and into a dumpster. The solar cells were removed and replaced and everything was left clean.

Only took the company a year to finally get it set up and working. A year. Yes, one year. As for the financial aspect of it, all is good. We should get a discount on this operation for waiting so damn long.

Horrible experience with them! I’ve been trying to reach the company in regards of my solar panel contract. no one has answers! I was promised tree branches in the backyard will be cutdown after the installation. Also, during the installation of the panels some of my windows screens were ripped and damaged.

This is the worst place in the world to get your bathroom remodel done, from the start of giving me what we wanted to the uncaring vendors who did the job. Now I got a walk in shower that I'm stuck with, remodeled the way they wanted it done, like I'm going to let them shower here. I hope they all have issues with there freaking showers and plumbing as long as they take one, oh I forgot to thank you for the walk in shower I never freaking got!

Over all it has been a good experiance, We only had issues with the roofers leaving debrit all over, and I contacted the contractor to let them knoe that i found three areas of the roof where the boards were broken and needed to be replaced and sent him pictures, this has not been done yet. Sunlight Financial was very easy to work with.

We are starting off shaky right now the system has a few errors and I'm not in the system to really inform me of my information. The system itself is not showing up to view remotely, the system itself is has errors showing (green, red, blue lights) the meter is running backwards and no one can get to us until This Thursday. I reported this last week when. They swapped out the meter. I'm told the first bill is due in April when. It clearly states the first 12 months will be paid. Since I'm not in the system no one can see anything about it, even though it's in the briefing as well. We have an appointment set for the 10th but shakey at best.

They were very understanding of my situation and were able to help me get my home fully stable., even with other obstacles that come to hit. Ty sunlight financial for ma it possible.

Keep in mind, my first payment has not yet been withdrawn from my back account; however, I've called and spoken with a representative twice - once before I signed the contract and once before payment was released to the contractor. Their customer reps were knowledgeable, friendly and took the time to answer all of my questions. They even have a system in place to make sure that you understand the contract before you sign it - very responsible (especially for older people) - I believe someone called me to get verification and answer questions. They also did not push me to release the payment to the contractor until I was satisfied with the work. Their website was easy to use (I'm slightly technologically challenged); but, was able to set-up my first payment and subsequent auto payments very easily. I'm very satisfied with Sunlight Financial (so far) and would recommend them.

I am satisfied with Sunlight Financials' services. However, my solar system was NOT installed to the owners original G3 Solar Installation agreement. G3 Solar made a change in design without owners approved and signed change order. Sunlight Financial service should have a customer’s check off list and approval before the Solar installation companies receive full payment. This would help with any dispute with signed contracts. For this reason, I can only give Sunlight Financial a Two Star Rating! I went with sunlight for financing over 60,000 for battery back up solar. I went with sunpower which directed me to moxie solar for the install. After numerous disasters with moxie solar and 1 year later I am.paying my solar bill and power bill because after being paid noone will come install the batteries thatbare still in boxes in my garage floor. Noone will respond to emails or texts. Why should I pay for something I don't have. I'm just going to stop making payments and either I'll get my batteries installed and continue with payments or they can come take panels off roof. Moxie never showed us how to turn them on or walk us through operating/monitoring them like they promised they would. They never kept the appointment they made and refuse to work on weekends so after taking off work several times for them.not to show up during the panel install, we could no.longer justify taking off to "meet" them for install. So we just remotely allowed access to our home on the basis they would come back out and show us how to operate. Stay away from moxie solar and sunpower.

We had 18 windows removed and installed. The 2 installer’s work getting the windows pulled out in the rain. They worked long hours and installed 5 the first day. They isolated between the windows with spray foam. They took a total of 5 day’s to complete all 18 windows. Trimming out the inside and outside. They cleaned up the outside/inside the house. Caulking bot inside/outside. Very professional. Answered all our questions. We have 1 screen that has the middle bar cracked on top/bottom. So it needs replaced.

In February decided to install solar. Vendor helpful but not totally informed of vital information necessary to put a positive by the total experience. Several friends and acquaintances have installed solar in recent months, none pay an electric bill. I still do. It is not the fault of the solar installer or financial carrier, but lack of and changing information from my electric coop made this experience less than gratifying. I was installed in May, and here we are six months later with no issues. Setting up bank drafting was simple. Payments automatically get run, everything is pretty seamless, except for still getting a $100+ per month light bill. They only credit me with $0.02 per KWH because that is what their supplier charges them. But they still charge me $0.14 per KWH while I'm not producing power. HOGWASH....but for another day.

This was absolutely the worst experience possible. After 4 months of paying both PG&E and solar and hours of my life wasted on the phone my system is finally on—only took a year total. Run away and save yourself a nightmare.

Thanks for making it easier to go solar. Sunlight got me a better rate than two other places I looked at first and you all were a pleasure to work with.

Apparently nobody has any idea what’s going on at this company my solar panels were financed through Alliant but serviced by Sun Life financial and neither of them can give me any information as to when my payments are due it’s ridiculous

They made it easy and painless with no money upfront. The process can take awhile, mostly because of multiple regulatory hurdles outside their control, but they got the job done and with no complications.

I have had a few nightmare situations with various companies over the years. This one though deserves a special mention. I am so sorry that I used this institution for my solar loan. They are completely unresponsive to customer service requests. Look out - they'll ghost you too.

They were great until they installed the panels received their money. Then they stopped working on it. It took me making an appointment with lawyers to get them to come out and hook it up. At the time they came to hook the panels up I talked to the instillation people asking why it was taking so long. He stated that the system didn’t work from day one. They notified them of that and they were told to ignore it and go on to the next job. Solar panels were installed in July and it wasn’t fixed and hooked up until October, after I contacted lawyers. 7 months the project took.

Everyone I’ve dealt with has been informed and helpful. I hear from them regularly so I know things are going well. I appreciate that.

This was the easiest company to deal with. Literally took under 10 minutes to complete the paperwork. Highly recommend them. Used them with my new Tesla system.

It took a long time to get out loan approval due to the state we live in so process was long from may to October before install and up and running we have not seen a great savings yet but are happy with the install hopefully we will see savings soon.

I had 3 estimate and Kevin and his crew where the best great price great work he went above and beyond to do it right and what I wanted.

1st you get a membership with a credit union that you don't even know. 2. If you want to set up your payment you need the membership number or you can not access your account.. 3. You don't have a number to call and get the information. I like the fact that I was offer a 0 % interest, but itbincrease my loan significant,, so where is the benefit, not mentioning that you are paying for the salesman commission out of the money ( 2000 to 4500 dollars), where is the 0%? Now I am paying more for electricity. Now, it was so easy to get approved and with no hassle, but obviously you are overpaying for a service. Overall too expensive, it is not worth the money you spend, specifically when people are just taking advantage of the programs for their own benefit.

Working with this company and the overall experience of getting solar hair been a complete nightmare. When we started having problems with the solar company who is supposed to be doing our installment, we were told to contact Sunlight and that they would help us with everything. They have helped with absolutely nothing. The representatives that I talk to have been very nice, but can only ever take notes about my calls. They can’t give me the account manager’s number, but they can relay the message. I was never able to get in touch with our first account manager. Our account was reassigned to someone else. I had one conversation with this individual, Christopher, who promised he’d do better than the previous account manager and help to resolve all the issues we were having with our installation, and said he’d call back the next day and even gave me his number… um it’s been months now and I still haven’t heard from Christopher, but I sure have called multiple times and left messages, with no progress. Meanwhile, here we are months after our expected date of completion with an electric bill AND a solar bill! STRONGLY REGRETTING EVER GOING SOLAR with THIS company.

They supplied everything I needed to complete the loan. I like the easy to read summary of the loan with all pertinent information that I needed, and of course they supplied the detailed paperwork as well. I have had several emails making sure that everything went well and to my satisfaction.
