It's unfortunate that my previous experience with summit funding was such an excellent experience, I believe it might have set the bar to high for our second home purchase. Refinanced my first home so I could purchase a new home out of state....it took 2months to find out that's why my new home purchase was ultimately not moving forward, after several weeks of. pay this, provide this document, oh and now your credit score isn't high enough. The last 3 almost 4months of my life have been a roller coaster from hell thanks to the summit funding team in eureka. Would not recommend them to my worst enemy at this point 🙄

Unprecedented poor communication during process of obtaining my loan. failed to inform me, or my realtor of escrow hold back which resulted in huge waste of time, delay and embarrassment. failed to communicate with home insurance of delayed close resulting in cancellation notices. repeatedly wasted my time by requesting identical copies of the same document. it was a shockingly unprofessional experience

New home buyers beware, NEVER use Chase for your new home purchase. They will not treat your transaction with any kind of urgency, in face they "moved" our buyers closing date thinking that was OK.
