Last year I was given the opportunity to purchase my grandmother's house - as a single, first time homebuyer, I didn't know much, had a lot of questions, and a lot of confusion. Additionally, I had some pretty terrible interactions with another mortgage company, who was quoting wild numbers and difficult processes, making things more complicated than they already were. Cue Stone Lake Mortgage -- Drew and his team were SO helpful. They answered all of my millions of questions patiently and kindly, they did their best to give me an easy and seamless experience, and treated me like an actual person instead of as $$ pending a successful sale. They were also very patient and helpful given the complexities of a sale within the family/POA needs/etc, and even though it became a longer process than your basic home-sale, they were 100% there and helpful every step of the way. I'm so grateful for my experience with Stone Lake Mortgage, and their part in helping me to buy a home with so much nostalgia and meaning for me.

This was my first home buying experience and Drew and his team made me feel supported from the very beginning. they even went so far as connecting me with a great realtor in my area.
