The team at Stewart helped me feel supported as I walked through my first home buying experience. They made everything easy and gave me a feeling of safety and welcoming as I moved across the country into a small town in Texas :)

Chris Coble did a fabulous job on our closing. She is a true professional, very knowledgeable and excellent communicator !

Refused to return escrow after proper contract termination because seller refused to execute termination document. My attorney advised Stewart Title that my contract language provides for return of escrow in this particular situation. Was told that it was not Stewart Titles "Policy" and that they would have their attorney review and contact us. Never happened. Totally ignored terms of contract. Property has been relisted verifying seller has acknowledged contract has been terminated and Stewart Title still won't return escrow. Unbelievable!

The best title company in Rockport....I work with them exclusively if possible. Very professional and efficient! Chris Coble is a Rock Star!!

This time around they did a exceptional job!

I requested to complete my closing out-of-town. Instead of using electronic signing and notary service (which I am using on my new home purchase) they overnighted the paperwork on a Thursday to my realtor. I signed and had it notarized and sent it back UPS overnight. On Friday afternoon I called to check on the paperwork and funding. The receptionist was rude and guessed that the delay was due to the owner not signing the loan note ????? I was unable to talk to my case worker because I was told she had 18 closings and was too busy. I called my realtor and she was able to get information that the funding still had not occurred. On the following Monday I called to ask for copies of the paperwork since no one bothered to send them to me. I did not receive the complete set of paperwork. I emailed and requested the missing forms and have NOT heard back from them. Now I am closing in Austin on a new house and this title company set up the funding ahead of time so the owners will receive their funds immediately. POOR SERVICE and RUDE, INCOMPETENT EMPLOYEES!

Communication was excellent. Scheduling was fast. Appointment was on time. Process went very smooth. Our representative was very friendly and got answers for any questions we had.

They stayed past their closing time to accommodate us when we were delayed coming in due to traffic. Fast and professional close.

as noted in other comments on this site, "POOR SERVICE and RUDE, INCOMPETENT EMPLOYEES!" Go elsewhere
