Absolutely the worst financing company out there. I’ve had a car loan with them for over two years I’ve never been late my car payment is $125 a month. You can never get anybody on the phone I tried to pay payment in February. Left 2 voicemails. In March I tried contacting them - same thing. This time I also sent an email. Then I get an email from them in April. They never processed my car payment. It was 45 days past due. I dropped my credit score 71 points. They sold the loan off before all of this and didn’t let me know until last month. You got a finance anything a car etc. do not go with this company they’re horrible.

The worst experience I’ve ever had with a bank period. Renee the supervisor was rude and unprofessional. The Manager Chris took two days and two messages before I received a call back. Watch out for the scams of this bank. I made my first payment through the automated phone system entered my account number and routing number and received a confirmation of my payment on 11/5/2109. On 11/12 I received a message from Renee saying it was imperative I give a call back. I immediately called back only to be reprimanded by her saying “your check bounced you had insignificant funds”. I explained to her twice before she looked forward that I did not pay by check. I asked to speak to the manager she told me he wasn’t available and I could leave a message. I asked her if I could ask her one more question, her response was you can talk to the manager from now on. The manager called me back finally, explaining to me that the automated system missed a digit from my account number so I was being charged an additional $20 fee on top of my payment. I explained to him that I DID NOT miss a digit in either my account or routing number. He then told me that there was nothing he could do about this charge. I paid the $20 fee even though I knew fully my information was given correctly and on time. I hope people will read all the terrible reviews on this bank before using them. I know if I had seen all the awful reviews ahead of time I would have steered clear of this dishonest fraudulent bank. If Holman Ford suggests you finance through this bank RUN!

If I could put 0 stars trust me I would. Steer clear customer service is unreachable and reliable. Keisha has a serious attitude not to mention hung up on me. They literally refuse to callback me and my claims adjuster for my totalled car. When they don't even answer their phones in the first place! Fire Keisha lay her off what ever she is in multiple reviews here I think we get the trend.

I am shocked there is even 1 bad review. I just got my second loan with this company and never had any issues. I set up automatic payment and they sent the title as soon as I was done paying. I even had an issue for 2 months were my card didnt work and they worked with me. Thank you and I promise if you pay on time you will be happy.

Update: I had to take a star away because I paid this loan off in March and it took them 2 months to stop asking for payments and send the paid notice. I got a car loan through Steward. They gave me the best interest rate of the offers I received they have a 10-day grace period with no penalty. When I wasn't able to make a payment they even let me put it off for a couple of months, I just had to pay like $30 extra. I'm not sure what they've done to other people that made their rating so low but I had a good experience with them. I recently traded in that vehicle and paid off that loan early, and didn't have any problems.

The WORST COMPANY ever I have auto pay set up for every month but they did not take it out this month so I call and after 30mins of trying to get someone on the phone I find out my account now belongs to a different company????? When were they planning to tell me? When the repo truck showed up? What if I did not check my account and notice? Save yourself the stress and do not consider Steward Financial P.s anyone in a similar situation, westlake may now be in charge of your account

The only reason I am even giving one star is because it is necessary to post the review. With the world being in the current state, I had called in returning a threatening e-mail message received from Mrs.S with Steward Financial advising that my account is under review. When I called in and requested to speak with Mrs. S her condescending tone and the ignorance she had toward the current situation in the world was astounding. She made it obvious she had not one ounce of compassion in her. I have spoke with people there who have been awesome, then I have also, on more them one occasion run into the many Mrs. S's they employee. It has become clear these employees don't understand what a grace period is, and that on occasion, there are things more important and higher priority than their payment making it there on time. When I advised this representative that I would be calling in my payment on Friday, when I get paid, the response was "You need to make it now"...spoiler alert...I've worked as a loan officer and finance specialist. So, no, I in fact do not need to "make it now" This company needs to reevaluate staffing and their training practices. I will be refinancing, elsewhere as soon as the world gets back in order.

This is my first review ever, but I have to do this. My advise, Even though you don't have a good credit to buy a car, if the dealership shows you this company as the one of the companies who accepted to provide you a car loan, STAY AWAY FROM THEM because they will only set you up. This is the worst loan company I have ever seen in this country. They are not professionals and they talk over you like you are not a client. I called this company because they made a mistake charging me over $3,000 more on my car loan because they had a false report that I did not have coverage on my car. I called them several time; put them in contact with my insurer, and still got bad service. One, they don't pick up when you call; and when they do the only answer I got from them is "sorry we can't do anything; our insurance company is the one handling this." WHAT IS THAT? So I got their insurer number because I wanted them to correct the information they provided. Once they saw it was an error coming from them, they will say "ok it will take up to 10 business day for this charge to come off your balance." 1 month later it's still there, so I called them again and they told me the same fake promise. This is unbelievable. I need to have this off my account because they reflected it on my balance and it's like I did not pay my full amount due every time and they keep sending me notices. I don't know how they're still in business

I will say steward financial is an acceptable option for individuals with less than perfect credit, or for a first time solo purchase on a vehicle (my case) They also have a very forgiving grace period to those who may need an extra week between payments. However, my issues were always with their customer service associates. While there were certainly some that helped tremendously in a few scenarios, the majority of my interactions were negative. Associates often presented an unprofessional demeanor and seemingly “spoke down” to you over the phone. I understand the stress in our current situation especially to those working remotely (I too am considered essential) but there is no reason at all to argue over the details of an account. Stewards website also provides very little information in reference to your account. You cannot view your the balance of your loan, or even locate your full account number.

Worst financing option there is out there. First off I have excellent credit. I was buying a 19,000 dollar car. Wanting to put down 6k.. they said I could only be approved if I put down more. So I put 13k down and got approved at an outrageous 9% interest rate. So I buy the car and have it for 2 weeks when they cancel my approval. They do not answer their phones when you call. I am now left with having to pay off the rest of the car some other way. Let me be clear. I have an 800 + credit and have never been late on a payment on a loan. This company is a disgrace and by the other reviews I see on here other people feel the same way. Their customer service is useless and they don’t hold true to their word. Avoid at all costs
