I have been a member of this bank since I was a little one. I have had multiple loans including personal loans, credit cards and vehicle loans. I had fell on hard times and had some credit issues due to COVID and my partner getting cancer and my car needed repairs, but the repairs was going to cost more than my car was worth and since I still owed the bank on the loan .My only option was to get a used car. I found a dealership that was willing to give me more trade value than I owed on the car. In order to get the loan I was told I needed to pay these old debts off, which I was doing one at a time when I got the money. The branch told me to go through the dealership for financing. As I've told them before I'm on disability and the dealerships always need a co signer due to my income. I don't have no one to provide that for me. So now im stuck with a car that don't work and I have no way to my doctors appointments. I understand there has to be certain rules, but I've never missed a car payment and SECU use to be there for its members during hard times, but now I believe those days are long gone.

Worked with a buyer that was interested in my vehicle that’s uses this bank in mooresville. To say the least Alexandria that works at this bank was very unprofessional and did not show any professional conduct while dealing with the process of there member trying to purchase my vehicle. They made the process very difficult for me and the buyer to make a decision. Would not recommend if you have the same similar situation where you’re not the title holder.

I’ve had a wonderful experience with this bank all thanks to Danielle !!! She was super helpful and nice! Made everything a smooth transition for me!!! She is the best!!! I will tell all family and friends about this branch! :)

Extremely rude, most seem to not know much about their job and it always causes excess wait time for everyone in the waiting room. I went in today to open a new account and add my wife and the guy at the desk was extremely rude and I sat in the waiting room with a room full of others while they had multiple employees in officers without customers in front of them. I will be moving my accounts elsewhere.

Ryan Becknell at the Mooresville branch is honest, professional, and dedicated to his work. I've had many transactions with him, always a pleasure solving problems with this gentleman and this branch. As a business owner in the service industry and Army Veteran, I know what it takes to serve. This bank has some of the best values and show it with integrity in the way they handle transactions with their members. They stand on a foundation of good values. They give back to the community. Least amount of fees of any banking institution per transaction I've ever seen. Great for personal lending with low interest rates and high approval ratings. I will continue to invest and bank here with no end in sight.

Terrible service . Dont give loans easily . Regardless if you served in the military or not . If you try to deposit a big check they treat you like a criminal and want to make you wait atleast 4 business days to clear the check . Or say Go to the bank on the check if you want the money same day . Sorry excuse for credit union or bank in general , I would give no stars if I could still write a review .

Deposits my checks fine. However working with agents for financial advice and such was not very helpful at this branch. Overall SECU is great.

This branch is never friendly or helpful. They don't greet you, make you sign in, and this time the girl kept telling me to call customer service bc I interrupted her personal phone call. My branch is Winston is awesome!

Helpful staff . Glad to be a member and know that there are several locations in the surrounding areas . Interest is really low on loans if needed .
