It's a lie, they tell you they will settle in 4 to 8 months and they don't. You end up in collections with creditors harassing you all day long. And the good credit cards that you had end up closing your accounts too. You call customer service and they just tell you to send an email to customer service.

The stupidest thing I did was to go with start new financial this company is a scam!! I should have use freedom debt relief instead... This company didn't pay anyone at all in collections before I had no choice but to get a high interest loan, with a penalty to pay early!! So KEEP AWAY FROM THIS COMPANY!! USE FREEDOM DEBT RELIEF!!

Start New Financial has been having me scheduled for a phone call to discuss one of the creditors they were working with on my behalf. That call has been scheduled for the past 4 months. They are absolutely NOT TO BE TRUSTED to work on your behalf. I was served this morning with my second law suit since that time. Do yourself a favor and find a reputable firm to assist you.

Read the fine print! They said nothing about charging a 25% fee for settled debt and that’s on top of what they negotiate down to settle your debt. So not only do you still pay for your debt at a little reduced amount now you have to pay them 25% of whatever they settle the accounts at. Scam artists at their best. Taking advantage of people who are struggling.

Stay clear of this outfit. They appear to be challenged by honesty and good moral ethics. All they really seek is a commission on the fee they talk you into. Live within your means so you don't have to pay a high fee for repairing your credit. Pay cash, cut up all credit cards, use ONLY WHEN YOU DON't trust the online merchant or know you can pay off the balance EVERY month or simply do without said product or service. You probably don't need it anyway. Stop trying to 'keep up with the Jones's'. Offer your creditors 30 cents on the dollar if the debt is over five years old. If creditor agrees, get a 'paid in full letter' agreement BEFORE you pay. Then once you pay, get a 'paid in full' confirmation letter. Send letter to all three credit bureaus: Trans Union, Experian and Equifax. Do it yourself, save a huge fee, and take back control of your life.

Alex Colon and Danielle McGlone were very helpful and insightful. They explained all details and options thoroughly. They have a great sense of humor and add a personal touch to their work. Please do not even considered this company. They only care about how to make the most profit out of your situation . Can’t be trusted. STAY AWAY !!!

Start new financial is an excellent source for debt consolidation made easy. Jennifer R was very knowledgeable and taught me many aspects of my debt I never knew. She has saved me a lot of money while getting me out of debt and raising my credit score. They truly are worth speaking too. I enjoyed the face to face interaction.

My rep Akemi Jimenez was super helpful and took the extra time to explain the details of the program and answer any of my questions. I really appreciate her help along the process as I was looking for some time on how to figure out a solution for my current debt situation.

I called after receiving a letter in the mail and the representative I spoke to on the phone was absolutely rude! He literally called me stupid. I kept asking questions because I was skeptical about the whole thing and he lost his temper very fast. Absolutely unacceptable. Do not do business with these scammers.

This is about Diana Hathorn and how amazing she is. If you have a piece of doubt she will remove it. Her energy is amazing from start to finish and I have never seen anything like it. Just the best customer service experience ever.

It’s just their way to leech the last drop of your savings. They aren’t tied up with any of the firms like Chase, discover and Citi. But I am not sure how they know all your current balances and the details on the payments. I think the best way to pay off your debts is to talk to your firm rather than trusting these third party companies.

SCAM ALERT SCAM ALERT SCAM ALERT 🚨‼️❌❌ DO NOT DO BUSINESS WITH THIS COMPANY. I called them for help with my boyfriends credit. They let me open an account for him, and I set up payments coming out of my account to settle to the debt. They did all this without ever talking to my boyfriend, only me. I signed all the documents and forms for him, the representative of the phone told me it was fine. 2 months go by and I call them to see if a settlement has been reached. They tell me they can’t release any info to me because I’m not my boyfriend. Meanwhile they are still taking money out of my account and there is nothing I can do to stop it. EXTREMELY SHADY COMPANY-DO NOT USE THEM EVER

They dictate the pace on your settlements so that they can draw it out long-term to make more money once you decide you want out they try and convince you to stay in by giving you a better rate and if you have money in there they take your money and use it towards fees so that you end up with no return

Nick showed up at my door and changed everything for the better. Only been with them a short while and so much less stress to deal with. 3 accounts taken care of in only 4 months. I would recommend them to anybody.

My representative, Cody, was excellent in his presentation. He was comprehensive, concise, and very patient in answering all my questions in an easily understandable manner. I never felt any pressure, and in fact, felt very good about joining the program. I’m very excited at the prospect of finally getting my credit card debt under control!

After looking over my account profile/ I decided that at this time/ being in this (program) wasn’t for me and decided to (Cancel) by sending a (Text) to “Nicholas T.. explaining that this ( Program) wouldn’t “ BENEFIT “my thinking that according to NICHOLAS T. Would DIS-INROLL me . !!!!!! . Which NICHOLAS T. INFORMED me he couldn’t DO. and BASICALLY . At this time I CONTACTED one of The REPRESENTATIVE explain my SITUATION AT THAT TiIME - I WOULD BE SENT and EMAIL- HERE’S THE THING THE FIRST PAYMENT WAS DUE TO BE WITH DRAWED ON 12/22/21 which was ENOUGH TIME TO CANCEL ME FROM THIS PROGRAM AS I KNEW THERE WASN’T ENOUGH MONEY IN MY CHECKING ACCOUNT.!!! AS A MATTER OF FACTED LESS THAN ( 200..00) . AS SINCE I ALWAYS PAID MY BILLS EARLY- ALL OF MY DECEMBER BILLS WAS PAID. HOW EVER- DUE THY DEBT RELIEF PROGRAM WITHDRAWAL-I WAS CHARGED FOR ( NSF)- !!!!. SO THIS WAS LIVING NIGHTMARE FOR ME!!!. NOT TO MENTION WHEN NICHOLAS T. SHOWED UP MY DOOR WITH HIS I PAD THIS WASN’T AS EASY TO CANCEL AS NICHOLAS T. I just came to change my car and when they checked my credit at the dealership they told me Star New Financial is not paying my credit cards for a year while they keep taking payments of $344 at my bank account every month for over 2 years. Now I just want to make sure I don’t get scammed anymore.

This I a scam company that revives written off debt that is no longer on your credit report so they can get paid or the pennies on the dollar they paid to harass you further after the 7 year period that it oul effect your credit. Shred the letters you get from them. They're useless and annoying.
