Process was very easy and transparent, I’m very happy with my refinance of my student loans. My interest rate was cut in half and I received a shorter term, keeping my payments the same. I didn’t need to call anyone, everything was managed online and very easy. I was initially skeptical because I had never heard of Splash Financial, and now that my old loan has been paid off and I have everything set up with my new lender, I’m very happy with going this route.

This has been such a great experience that I am in the process of transferring all of my other bank accounts over to the credit union recommended by Splash. I couldn’t be happier or more appreciative of the help I’ve gotten and how quickly it was in coming. Definitely recommend you look into this if need to refinance!

I have been trying to refinance my student loan for overall a month. I provided every document request. I am a veteran. I had to provide an updated beneficiary letter. Did that. I had to provide an updated paystub because Splash thought I was disabled and not working. I did that. I went back and forth. Provided every document for them to keep putting me off. Twice now my loan has been on technical hold. I have spoken with 5 different ladies. Only one has followed back up with me. Worst loan service I have ever experienced. Today, I requested to have my loan application withdrawn. Not sure how they do business, but customer service is not really important. Nor is getting a loan finalized. I would rate half a star if I could. Poor service all around.

I have requested to be taken off their mail list 3 times. Each time they politely tell me I have been removed and then proceed to send me more mail. I don't think you actually care about this rating because you obviously don't care at all about customer service, but if your organization can actually stick to its word and not spam me for the next 36 months I'll definitely change the rating. Thanks!

*POTENTIAL LABOR THEFT - IF YOU ARE A WORKER PLEASE READ BEFORE SEEKING EMPLOYMENT* Worked for them as a Contract Recruiter for 3+ months, however they did not pay a single time to me or my team. When we informed them we would stop working until we were paid, they basically severed contact with us. I'm not sure if they won't pay us... or they CAN'T pay us? Either way its not a great look for a supposedly 'on the rise' fintech company to squelch on their compensation. Update 1: They hired a candidate directly supplied by me and my team, yet have still not paid nor expressed any interest in paying us for the work they are clearly benefiting from. Weird that a loan servicing company would be so... dishonest. Update 2: They have reached out to my team, though not to me, regarding this very review. The representative for Splash desires that I remove my review; Splash are aware of the unpaid work my team and I have done for them, to which they did express some passing desire to 'resolve' that issue (possible solution: pay us what you owe us?). Splash's representative did not directly say the following, but from my point/understanding these were the implications: Splash's Rep did not directly say that they may have to take legal action if my review isn't removed, but it was my understanding that may be the case. As a second option, Splashes representative seemingly tried to utilize this review as a bargaining chip in exchange for getting my team paid (IE: my review comes down - Splash pays some of their debt), again this was not directly offered by Splash's Rep but it was my understanding. No resolution has been reached as of 4/26.

Don't trust them. You try to refinance and if you don't complete it same day, they'll tell you the rate is locked in but then say it has to be changed when you try to complete the app.

The rates were very good, although I was quoted a lower rate on the Splash website than the financial institution gave me. The process was very simple and efficient. I would recommend Splash.

Out of all the companies I checked out, Splash Financial offered me by far the best rate to refinance my student loans. The process was quick and easy, and everyone has been kind and helpful! My experience also came with an unexpected bonus: when verifying my income, Splash helped me discover that my employer made an error in my paychecks and that I was getting paid less than my agreed upon salary! The experience was very simple and easy to do. With proper documents needed, the process happened very quickly. Splash Financial was very informal, made me comfortable, and gave me reasonable options . So it was an easy choice for me to go with them.

Just completed a refinance of my wife and I's student loans with Splash. Rates were awesome, customer service was even better. Whether it was Corey in the submission process, or Tim helping me tie up some loose ends, I couldn't have asked for better customer service. Truly outstanding on all fronts. Would recommend to anyone looking to do a refi!

STAY AWAY! I do not recommend responding to any marketing from this firm. They are just a front from a company called Earnest, which is basically worthless. I was looking to refinance $192K of an old student debt and they declined it. why? It beats me. I have an 808 credit score, make over $150K per year, have over $300K in liquid assets and have a home, paid for, which is worth close to $2 Million. What a waste of time and a way to hurt my credit score due to the hard inquiry they made.

They helped me a lot through the process. Was able to refinance from a 12% interest loan to a crazy low rate! Thankful for Splash

Very easy and breezy application process, great communication from agents and quick turnaround. It was very easy to refinance my loans, saved me tons, literally!

The process to refinance my loan with this organization was amazingly simple and efficient. The best part, I got a lower fixed interest rate. My rate went from 6.1% to 2.5%!! I also like that there are no penalties for repaying the loan early. Their communication is great and the application was straight forward. I would recommend them to anyone.

Splash financial came in with the best quote out of 5 comparisons. My application was easy to complete and pre-approved quickly. The final rate I got was the exact rate quoted from the start. My other loans were paid off quickly and seamlessly. They even honored my forbearance period that my government loans were giving me with COVID. 10/10 recommend!
