They closed my checking account without my knowledge. They are keeping my money from me. I've given them all of my information for my account and I can't even get access to my account. I have to drive an hour out of my way now just to go get my money straightened out and cancel any membership that I have had with them because they are just a terrible Bank. I wish I never signed up with them in the first place because I can't even get a debit card replacement for this account. I have money in my savings account that I can't even get to. My money and they treat it like it's theirs. Do not go there if you want to actually have access to your money. They asked me for a call in pin and they've never asked me for one before because I've never had to call for anything until they switched. They are very rude and very unhelpful

First, they started "automatically" deducting money for paper statements with no prior permission or approval from us. When I called, because our HELOC is in my wife's name, they said my wife would have to call and change to electronic statements. On a recent mortgage loan we applied for with another company, they refused to update the credit report of the HELOC to the loan company. As soon as we pay of the small HELOC, I will NEVER deal with Spero Financial again!

Worse bank I’ve ever dealt with. My paycheck is paid on fridays through Direct deposit. The bank has it pending and won’t let me access any of my money so I’m screwed for the weekend. Bank with Chase and don’t waste your time.

Top notch customer service at this branch from the line tellers to the branch manager, Lori Barker. Smart move on part of upper management to place this branch manager at this location. It's all about customer service - it's always done with greeting members with a smile, sincere appreciation for your membership and with enormous enthusiasm. Keep up the great job each of you do - every single day! Not opening up the lobby would be my only complaint. Hope this happens in the near future as other branches have already opened their lobby area.

Unfortunately our former credit union merged and formed SPERO Financial. We had been with our former credit union since the 70's, when the name was Owens Corning Fiberglas Credit Union. We staked with this credit union because all these many years we were entirely satisfied. The employees were personable and friendly and knew us by name. They treated us as if they actually CARED that we banked with them. For 46 years we were treated this way!! Then came the merger...what a mess! They are bad about returning calls. The "right hand doesn't know what the left is doing". They LIE and do NOT do what they say they will do. We have had so many problems in the 13 months since the merger it is unbelievable. We have had more problems in this 13 MONTHS than we had in 46 years before the merger. SPERO does not appreciate customers or care if they lose them. Regardless of the fact that they have had use of our money and had customers who have never caused any issues, they don't care if you stay or leave. We are now looking for another credit union.

The Branch Manager at the 28 bypass location, Ronicka Craig, is very knowledgeable and went above and beyond to assist me with my financial needs. I would recommend Spero CU to all of my friends and family!

After years of excuses I've finally closed my accounts at Spero Financial. Why? Policies that change with no rhyme or reason. Holding funds for the full two weeks, even after they have cleared. But they make funds from an out of state bank immediately. Not cashing third-party checks even though they have for years. No Android/Apple/Google/Fitbit Pay. Very RUDE when you ask for them. Told by staff that it's upper management that won't do it even through its requested The new Android app is unusable. Transactions are not showing up on the mobile app until DAYS later, which is not normal despite what they will tell you. And they blame YOU for it, claiming that you don't under how a checking account works.
